The Legendary Dobie
Dobie’s Four Square Pipe Tobaccos have been around since the 1930’s, first blended in Paisley, Scotland. The blending of these mixtures has since moved to the United States but the products have changed very little. Their blends are unadultered and forthright, the same mixtures your fathers and grandfathers might have enjoyed.
Aromatic: Black Cavendish, bright Virginia, and Burley. Rich notes of vanilla, Caramel, Honey, and dark Fruit.
Cavendish: True European-style, Virginia-based black Cavendish. Slightly aromatic, smooth, cool, slightly sweet and never overwhelming.
English: A modest amount of Cyprian Latakia is mixed with Bright Virginias and a bit of Burley. A subtle Latakia that can be enjoyed all day long.
Circles: A Smooth roll-cut of ripe Virginias, a touch of Perique, and a core of toasted black Cavendish. Smooth and sweet with just the right amount of spice.
Cut Plug: Nothing but sweet, bright Virginias that are rolled and then pressed square. A pleasant sweetness with a mellow room note.
Virginia: A mixture of non-aromatic, flue-cured Virginias. Sweet, bright and smooth with a mellow room note that can be enjoyed all day long.
Red Aromatic: Black Cavendish, bright Virginia, and Burley with the addition of a subtle cherry vanilla note. Somewhat sweet with an incredible room note.
