It's the year of the rabbit!
Since 2012, Davidoff has been releasing specially blended cigars that celebrate the Chinese Zodiac. In 2022, we celebrated the year of the tiger. For 2023, we'll be celebrating the year of the rabbit. The rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac is a symbol of peace, prosperity, and longevity. Like the rest of the Zodiac line, there are only a few boxes available. The Year of the Rabbit comes in a 10-count box that lays each perfecto in an artistic fashion that mimics a rabbit's burrow.
This rabbit uses a blend of fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Four of the five fillers are piloto seco, San Vicente ligero, San Vicente seco, and Yamasá viso from the DR. The last is a seco leaf from Esteli. Combined together, these fillers have been aged for an average of four and a half years. These well-aged fillers are then bound in a Mexican San Andrean negro binder and completed with an Ecuadorian Hybrid 238 wrapper leaf. There is a variety of tasting notes to experience which range from cream, roasted nuts, pepper, leather, coffee, cacao, and cedar. Celebrate another trip around the sun with Davidoff today!
