Dark and delicious
Crowned Heads have taken the boutique cigar market by storm since coming onto the scene in 2010. Quickly garnering a stable of 90+ ratings including the 91-rated, Top 25 honoree, Headley Grange and the fan-favorite, 91-rated, Four Kicks, each new release is met with huge anticipation. The cigar at hand today is the Maduro variety of the Coroneta line, and adds a richer, deeper flavor to the highly regarded line.
Crowned Heads Coroneta Maduro is crafted at Casa Carrillo by E.P. Carrillo (the godfather of boutique cigars) whereas the Habano version comes from Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA). The Maduro features a dark chocolate-colored wrapper leaf from San Andres, Mexico with a Connecticut-seed binder from Ecuador. Long-fillers from the Dominican, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania round out this medium to full-bodied blend showcasing rich nuances of cocoa, licorice, and sweet spices.
