Got this at CB at a great price. The finish and inlays were very well done, and the interior and removable tray were free of defects. The lid sealed well with a slight "whoosh". Didn't use the hygrometer supplied, but went straight to my calibrated digital. Within 5 days of putting a small bowl of water inside, the RH% was 85. But, here is why 4 stars instead of 5 - after loading it with about 75+ sticks of various sizes and a bead based humidifier, it would not hold 70% without 2 shotglasses of water inside Easily fixed, however. Using advice from where I can't remember, I got some canning wax, melted it, and using a glass eyedropper carefully sealed all interior joins in the cedar after re-seasoning to 85% RH. Now it holds 70% perfectly. A slight bit of work for a very attractive and solid unit. I would buy another in a heartbeat but, sadly, my ever increasing collection of sticks may necessitate an even larger humidor!

This is my first, and probably last. It came very nicely packed, no problema at all. Started to humidify it at once, placing a wet sponge on the bottom, and the humidifier also. Had and have quite a struggle with the hygrometer. Not sure if its accurate. Bought a digital, which is now in a zipbag for salt testing. Allready have a few sticks in. Very solid construction and very beatiful. It will sit very nicely in the living room.

This humidor is nice. It holds it humidity will. I am sure that there are better ones out there but for the price, IDK. I can go weeks with out having to check on it, I have not had one cigar go bad in this cigar since I bought it back in 2014. In fact I have one cigar in there that is original to the box being new. I am waiting for a special occasion to smoke that one.

Customer Testimonials
To every one who has complained about the amount of sticks this box holds. The info states "Up to 125". As experienced cigar smokers we should all know this is dependent on what type of sticks you plan to store. Double Toros, Double Coronas, Gordos, Churchills, Presidentes, etc. will take up more space than Demitasses, Rothschilds, Panatelas, Petit Coronas, etc. I have a combination of small and large sticks. And I am currently storing 110 with some room left over. This box looks great, works great, and the price is right.
