A delicious cigar that’s comparable in flavor to the big boys.
This is a rich, robust and full-bodied gem handmade in the Dominican Republic. If you like full-flavored Dominican cigars such as Partagas, do your wallet a favor and try this knock-off on for size.Partagas is a registered trademark of General Cigar Corporation.
I took the risk and ordered these Knock-Offs. Let me mention it early... age them. I tried one right away and it was awful. (Just being honest) Let these sit in your humidor for a month and you'll swear that they are a much more expensive cigar. The draw is easy and the flavor (aged) is incredible. The only tell, that they are not a real high-end stick, is the construction. It isn't terrible but it isn't going to be mistaken for Partagas. All in all, if you can be patient, this is a great stick for a great price!
Great taste and smooth draw. My next order will be for the larger sizes.
This is a great full-bodied cigar worth the try. For the price and compaired to other more expencive brands, this one is a keeper for sure. I am almost finished with my first mazo and have another on the way to sit in the humidor to get some age on it. I have a pretty good feeling it's going to be even better :) Thanks CI, this will be on my re-orders for sure.
I do love a good cigar. Although, the economy has forced the working class man to take alternative action. I used to buy Punch Double Coronas for about a buck each, and I was a happy camper. Then, our leaders decided that "we" the commoners, shouldn't be smoking good stogies. So, the pricing structure suddenly revolved around the upper class. (no offense intended). Let me just say this. These CI Knock-Offs are good smokes. I just received a bundle of these Partagas KO's in the mail today. I like a full flavored tobacco, heck, I was born in the U.S. Tobacco Belt, what more can I say. These, are WELL worth a try for any person who likes a hand rolled all tobacco cigar with a little complexity in its flavor. I'm a happy camper once more, good job CI! I will order another bundle soon.
These are awesome cigars. They are my every day sticks. Pack a nice punch, and burn for a while. This cigar has become my re-order cigars. I also have the membership so they send me 8 cigars a month, and those are usually awesome cigars. So those along with my CI knock off Partagas, I'm happy! I recommend this cigar if you like a nice strong cigar without the strong price attached to it.
A good smoke at any price, flavorful, hearty, makes plenty of smoke. I will get more of these.
Great cigar. How much longer will I have to wait?
Straight out of the box these sticks where FANTASTIC!! I was on the golf course and brought both the CI KO and the Partagas.. Me along with 3 of my friends said that they preferred the CI KO over the Partagas. The CI KO is smooth, taste great, and burns well. I'm sticking with these sticks!!!!!
They are soft, but with time spent in the humidor, they're tolerable and flavorful. Churchills are great for an hour on the deck. Definitely coming back to these beauties.
Bought a bundle and smoked one right away, not bad............a bit soft, not rolled very tight, held an ash well, good even burn, good draw. Pleasant and effortless to smoke. As time goes by they sit in the humidor and get better and better. Each burns better and tastes better then the last one. Peppery through the nose about half way through the smoke. Plenty of smoke, still soft. So soft after a while, you can chew it. If you dont rush it, it keeps its cap okay. Interesting taste, not bad......... oh did I say that already? I would buy these again, maybe today. Thanks
The CI Knockoffs (Mistakes)? C'mon now, the only mistake here is calling them mistakes. Decent smoke to say the least and you'll have some money left for some....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... libations.
Good smoke for the money;CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Partagas much better than many higher priced everyday cigars. I have smoked Partagas for years and don't know that I would exactly compare them to Partagas but they are certainly in the neighborhood. I would agree with the other customer who commented that they get better after they sit for a couple of weeks in the humidor.
Big Dave laid some of these tasty sticks (CI Knockoffs - Partagas) on me, and I was so impressed I ordered a bundle right away. But when they arrived, I lit one up and it didn't jazz me like before. So I tossed them in the bottom of one of the humidors. Well... a few weeks later I noticed a darker tint to the wrapper, and one of the lads whispered, "Try me now" in my ear. Wow! A few weeks of rest in the box turned the lads into a splendid smoke worthy of applause. A few months in the box kicks them up to the stratosphere! Sure, there are plenty of sticks that get better with age, but who wants to wait two years for a stogee to blossom and mature? These boys get better and better with each month in the box. Perfect for anyone who is impatient like me.
Suprisingly good cigar (CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Partagas). This would be a good cigar at a much higher price (don't read that part CI). Don't know that I would compare them to a Partagas taste wise but they are definately worth a try even if you are not looking for a bargin.
I thought I would give the CI knock-offs a try, I really like Partagas Cigars. I found that these cigars were worth the price I paid. If you like Partagas, try them !
