Each year, Sebastien Decoppet, originally from Geneva, Switzerland, blends, and releases a new offering under the Cavalier Geneve name. He got his start in the industry in Honduras in his early 20s and learned the ropes around fermentation and blending. Cavalier is most noted for using edible gold leaf on their cigars and they continue to release tasty features from their factory in Honduras.
The Cavalier Geneve Limited Edition 2022 is a mystery when it comes to blend details. Like all limited releases from the company, Decoppet keeps these secrets closely guarded. Since 2018, the blend has changed substantially and the 2022 release appears to use a darker wrapper than in years past.
