Casa Turrent Serie 1901

#12 Cigar in the world for 2016.

The Turrent name carries a lot of weight in the cigar industry. The Turrent's have cornered the market in producing Mexican tobacco, a country of origin that has been steadily rising in popularity as of late. And Casa Turrent Serie 1901 utilizes their most premium Mexican crop, melds it with bold Nicaraguan tobaccos, and delivers the most decorated Turrent-branded release to date. The wrapper is a bit spotty (a norm with Mexican leaf), but don't let that deter you because once you spark this premium up, you'll be met with hints of sweet cedar, leather, mellow pepper, and nut. A perfect example of a cigar that meets all the criteria to land in the Top 25, give Casa Turrent Serie 1901 a visit soon.

Good news, Casa Turrent Serie 1901 has received an astounding 94-rating, noting: "Each puff envelops the palate with cocoa powder and coffee before a sweet, luxurious finish redolent of caramel and black cherry."

Superb Maduro
Bought a fiver and let them rest for about a month I believe their Maduro ranks up there with Padron’s in quality and burn I detected hay black cherry a little bit of leather and some cocoa A very good cigar that keeps you interested but leans more into one dimensional Burn was a little wavy but no delights were required I am a Maduro fan big time and my top Maduro smokes in order are Padron, CLE Prietto, Casa Turrent and LTD 1994 It’s that good!

Medium balance bliss
A beautiful cigar. Medium body with coffee, cream and nuttiness with the hints of cinnamon like I enjoy on the cuban side. Can't discredit this Mexican beauty. Fire it up with my cup of coffee and the paper and the wife isn't even distracted since the aroma is wonderful. You can buy any of the Casa Turrent line and be satisfied. Enjoy!
