CAO Colombia Tinto

CAO spans the globe.

In CAO’s newest endeavor, another country has been added to their star-studded “world” cigar line. They dare to be different with the cutting-edge CAO Colombia. Using tobaccos rarely seen in premium cigars, finely aged Colombian tobaccos are woven throughout this unique gem. Cuban-seed tobaccos have been flourishing in Colombia since the 19th century,  hailing from a remote growing region on the mountainous Colombian coastline. More recently, for the past fifteen years, farmers have been meticulously cultivating and perfecting a newly coveted tobacco referred to as, “Ica Mazinga.” CAO Colombia employs this distinctive leaf and graces the palate with a marvelously mellow to medium-bodied adventure. Boasting a natural wrapper and featuring unique nuances of toasted nuts, coffee, and a slightly sweet n’ salty finish, CAO Colombia delivers a delicious, premium experience that I’m betting you’re gonna love.

Excellent blend of aged tobaccos. It has a smooth draw and an even burn. The Colombia and Nicaragua are tops in my humidor.

CAO Colombia Tinto
This cigar is a winner! Smooth upon lighting, easy draw and stays lit even in breezy conditions. Medium and toasty throughout with a slight sweet after taste. These are right up there with the Flathead for taste - will be buying these again - thanks CI!

CA O My O My
The Colombia robusto is really good. Everything is excellent. Construction and draw check. Slow cool even burn. Smooth medium body. Silky texture of smoke. Delicious. Toasty and nutty and wood with some cherry. And a complex feel on the palate. This was out of a sampler I bought here Joes Daily Deal on sale with free shipping. Give these a try.

Great cigar.
Like many of the cigars I have purchased from CI, this was another winner. Burned evenly and offered interesting array of medium strength flavors.

I've learned through the years
I've learned through the years to keep new cigars in my humidor about a month before trying them -- they always taste better after that time. I AM looking forward to them ! ( If I got 20 or more, I probably would have tried one by now.)

OMG!
These cigars are great! I just returned from Colombia and was hoping to find some cigars there to give to friends when I got back to the US. None were any good. So I went online and bought several packs of these CAO Colombians. They are so good, I'm keeping all for myself!! Sorry friends.

Arrived fresh and quick.
These cigars are very good for a cheaper smoke with a nice finish and ash.

CAO
Very good smoke. I am a CAO fan and this cigar is as good as the Italia and America.

Best of the best
CAO COLUMBIA smooth creamy complex Also love the Italia and Brazlla although the latter is stronger blend all these are very smooth. My treats, send me some.

Good but not the best
This was a descent smoke but I thought it could be a little richer in flavor like the Brazilia, Italia, or even America. Overall I enjoyed the experience but didn’t make me crave another one.

Mr. Mo
Very solid cigar for the price. Medium strength smoke and burns well. Kind of an earthy, nutty taste. Only CAO that I like.

Great everyday smoke
Great everyday smoke at a great price. Not the most complex smoke and pretty mild but good flavor (in my opinion). I stay stocked up with enough to share with other BOTL & SOTL, but inexpensive enough for those friends who "smoke" half and then destroy it in an ash tray or on a golf cart path (we all have those friends). If you haven't had one it's at least worth a try.

At first I was skeptical about this stick. I lit this up at the recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised what a great smoke this little gem is.

These are a great mild cigar, hugely popular with my non cigar friends. Everything you expect from CAO, with a smooth mildly sweet taste. Highly recommended

These are my personal favorite cigar. The taste and burn great Everytime and they are priced low enough to be an everyday smoke. My humidor has a special section just for these.

Worth giving a try.
Not a bad cigar. Wrapper started to undo as it burned but not unacceptable. Slight bite but mellow and a good draw.

Made me forget it felt like it like 94 degrees outside.
I would give it 5 stars but this cigar was so smooth and relaxing paired a whiskey on ththe rocks that I completely forgot to try and pick out the favors until the last third. The end of is nice tingly tongue feel brought on by what I would describe as generous amounts of white pepper and a smooth creamy smoke. It burned so well I didn't even notice til the end that the embers finally decided to favor a side over the other, but that wasn't until I finally set it in the ashtray after not being able to put it down. A very good cigar for a warm fall day in Texas. I can't think of anything I would've rather smoked.

Absolutely love the flavor of these Columbia's. These and the green label Brazilian are standard stock for me

I absolutely love the flavor of these CAO jewels and keep them on hand

Nice surprise
Just received these sticks and decided to light one up as I didn't have much time for a longer smoke. First time I've smoked a CAO and what a surprise. Great little cigar for the money as I got them on MAO. Lived up to the other ratings mentioned in the reviews. Burn got a little crazy toward the last 1/3rd but was easily fixed and smoke to the nub. Going to let sit in the humidor for a few weeks and see if they get even better. Will order them again if the rest smoke like the first. Great flavor for a little guy.

Colombia in the morning.
I got a 5-pack of the Tinto to get free shipping. This is a very good cigar, it burned straight and is a fairly complex cigar. I would buy this cigar again.

Cao Quality!
Another winner from CAO. This is a great cigar! Will it blow your socks off probably not; however, it will be a tasty smoke to the nub. Cao quality, and will be a main stay in my humidor.

Another Winner
Just finished my first one to the nub and still nothing but happuness! Cao keeps coming up with winners and this is another good example. Smooth but interesting and flavorful. It just tastes right.

Excellent Mild Cigar
If you like mild cigars with a uniques taste this is a good choice. Since it is mixed with Colombia tobacco it has a nice aroma. Smoke is a nice full white and the flavor is very light almost grassy but with a touch of oak. Nice choice for the morning with coffee.

BOX-worthy...
I got a 5'er and now wishing I had bought a box! VERY nice, medium-bodied, nub-worthy smoke.

A good cigar, but not
A good cigar, but not as good as the CAO Brazilia option

A must have in your humidor!
This is one of the most underrated cigars on the market. I keep reordering so my humidor is never without them. They're delicious. The unique Colombian tobacco ingredient makes this a one of a kind experience. This ranks in quality and flavor right alongside the Brazilia. This cigar is one of my favorites since day 1.

A new CAO in town
I am a big fan of CAO cigars the Brazilia and Italia are 2 of my favorite choices followed up by the America and all I can say move over guys we have a new Country in town and his name is Columbia. Light and delicious natural wrapper with a ever so light hint of earthiness and a nutty finish that burns nice and slow with a solid construction to make even the most picky pallet happy. Well done CAO!

Good smoke
It had good flavor, and burned even. I am usually a maduro guy, but I like what CAO puts out.

cao aok
I received about 30 assorted cigars at my retirement party from fellow workers who didn't smoke, but they knew I did. aomong them were the cao columbia. I had not tried the columbia before and was pleasently surprised. they are mild and tasty and you can smoke them down to the nub without any harsh taste like some other cigars. they leave me wanting for more, which is my only complaint, I wish they came in a churchhill size.

i enjoyed the smaller ring gauge Tintos more than the larger ring gauge.
