This is a great sampler, all cigar taste great, would buy again.
Excellent sampler of cigars. Some of my current favorites from CAO. Some I'm looking forward to trying out for the first time. Great travel humidor as well. Very sleek and stylish.
Such a diverse selection of flavour, there's at least one for everybody in this sampler. If you like spice, the Brazilia or Criollo is for you. Smooth & earthy with subtle hints of chocolate, have the MX2. Simple smooth? Try the LX2. This is well worth the purchase for anyone unfamiliar with the CAO line, or a great way to add variety to any humidor if you already know and love CAO.
This is a nice way to sample various blends from CAO without breaking the bank, and with the case as an added bonus, you really can't go wrong. All but one of the sticks I've sampled thus far have been extraordinary, with the exception of the MX2 that had a very tight draw, but was still quite flavorful. The only complaint I have is that the case was wrapped in a cellophane type wrapper that stuck to the case during unwrapping causing some damage. Nevertheless, this was a nice way to introduce myself to CAO cigars.
CAO makes a damn fine cigar, but I must say I wasn't expecting such a nice travel humidor. This thing is awesome. Leather outer and lined is Spanish Cedar. The smell when you first open it up is fantastic. This is a great sample of CAO cigars and a wonderful travel humidor to go with it!
I have never been disappointed by CAO. I have found a few of my Top 10 favorite cigars in this sampler. Brazilia is a new favorite. I thought the Italia and Gold were okay but nothing that really impressed me for a CAO cigar. L'Anniversaire Cameroon and Maduro are new favorites of mine. MX2, LX2, and OSA also had great flavors and I would definitely smoke those again.
A few years ago, my boss shared a cigar with me. It was a CAO. Yeah, he's a good boss, too. I was hooked. But I've never been willing to pay the freight for CAO's. So I've been trying a lot of cigars. Found some good ones, and some I just had to pass on. So when this sampler was offered, I couldn't resist. Now I know I've wasted a lot of time and money sampling. CAO is simply quality. The construction, the draw, the flavor. It all melds into the experience you want and expect from a cigar. Kinda disappointed in the travel case. It is in no way a humidor. But hell, you are taking them with you to smoke, not to store. Bottom line, if someone you know is cigar-curious, honor him with a CAO. You'll earn his respect forever.
