No pollywogs here.
Camacho Shellback, the initial offering in Camacho’s new Brotherhood Series, takes its name from a naval rite of passage. See, you’re considered a pollywog until you cross the equator, then after some good ol’ shenanigans you’re given the title of Shellback. Now that I dropped a little knowledge on ya,’ let’s take a peek below deck and see what this cigar has in store.
Camacho Shellback is a limited edition release sporting an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and long-filler. Playfully literal, the blend features tobaccos from Ecuador, which sits on the equator and Nicaragua, which lies north of the equator. Shellback is medium to full-bodied cigar featuring a host of flavors including coffee, spice, cedar, leather and earth.
Unfortunately, this line has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
