Given to me as a gift. By far, one of my favorite cigars, and I'm a Padron guy. Can't believe they are not making these anymore. What a shame.

Even burn throughout the cigar. Smoke was lighter than expected but was smooth. As for the Aroma. didn't smell like a bourbon, or taste like anything that i wouldn't have gotten out of another cigar with the same cost. Nice buy, but I would go back to a Gurka or equal.

Really nice daily smoker. Like the medium to full body with just a little bite. Decently wrapped, allows for a good smoky draw and solid burn--no need to re-light. Oak and some coffee flavors come through. However not much of the bourbon taste one might expect from the aging and the brand. To me, that and price keep it from perfection.

They're decent. I recommend cutting the tip instead of a punch hole. It's a little dark for my taste and there's a lot of competition at the price.

I love the original Buffalo Trace cigars, but these are not as good as the original by a long shot. Not as rich a smoke and by about 1/2 of the way through, it gets a bit harsh.

TL;DR - I hate the small tip; it dramatically ruins my ability to draw the cigar. I'm don't like narrow tipped cigars, but I like the std Buffalo Trace, so I decided to give these a try. I immediately had trouble getting a V cut or straight cut to draw right; the leaves were so tightly wrapped at the end, the draw was almost nothing. I rolled and rolled it in my fingers during the smoke, and it never completely let up. I tried different humidities; nothing would release those leaves. I have a couple left, but frankly I'd rather give them away they are so unpleasant to smoke. :-(

I couldn't wait to try this as the packaging was great... One of the best looking presentations I have seen in a while. The draw was great and the smoke was mild and pleasant. Of course i paired it with a glass of their bourbon... and overall a nice experience. I will buy again.

The Buffalo Trace Special F cigars are pleasant nice mellow enjoyable cigars. They aren’t hugely complex, but they provide a good tasteful smoke, especially when paired with a dram of Buffalo Trace Whiskey. Fun too! After Christmas dinner, my two sons and I enjoyed these cigars paired with Buffalo Trace Whiskey, and we all totally enjoyed the cigars.

I opened the box and let these even out over a month before I actually had one. These pair perfectly with the Buffalo Trace bourbon. I lit this cigar ONCE and it held the ash. It only came off twice. Easy draw. Great notes and it changes with wood, leather, vanilla and spice notes. I was extremely happy with this purchase. If available, I will buy this again.

These were definitely better than the regular Buffalo trace cigars I purchased a while back. Let them sit in my humidor for a few weeks and able to taste a slight hint of Buffalo trace. Could use a little more of it but overall a good cigar

The box looks great. The smoke was mild/medium with a nice taste of Buffalo Trace, which is one of my favorite bourbons. The burn was clean and consistent. Stayed lit for the entire smoke
