Some of the Blend Lab cigars are hit or miss for me, but this one is a winner. Solid construction, even burn, and a good mix of flavors (some blend labs are a little one dimensional). Would definitely buy more of these.

A good one. Just a little tight on the draw
Great smoke! The notes listed are pretty spot on. The draw was to hard / tight for me. Other than that it was perfect for a medium body smoke. The burn was perfect too. Nice and tight ash the burnt straight.

A KF-5555 for KF's 55th
This beauty caught my attention as a birthday smoke and why not? Keith F's 55th birthday, what could be more natural? This stick rested for about a month in my meticulously controlled wine-ador before being 'harvested' for the big day. Even though I use a punch I experienced some of the same cap problems as others have noted but not any worse than some premiums that I have enjoyed. The cold draw was earthy with a hint of cedar and nuts, the burn was even and enjoyable. A little bit of spice with a hint of pepper on the finish made this a great combination with Gentleman Jack on the rocks. I give it a strong 4 out of 5 and a great 'add-on' for any order that you're trying to reach that breakover price point for the freebie, discount or shipping.
Customer Testimonials
I bought two of these. The second one has sit in my humidor for almost a year before today. It still looks and smells good. It cut easy, but the cap came off when I tested the unlit draw. The cigar held together fine without the top cap. The burn was perfect. The ash was strong and held on until tapped off. The draw was a little loose, but still enjoyable. It produced tons of smoke that smelled great. The flavors were also great. This is probably my favorite Blend from the Lab.
Nice looking box pressed cigar. The pre-light aroma was pleasant. As I removed it from the cellophane wrapper, the double cap fell off, but a little saliva on the end kept the cigar from unwrapping. The KF5555 burned perfectly even and produced good smoke. No relights or touch ups were needed. The strength was medium and the flavor was good. The after taste was also good. Apart from the cap falling off, the cigar was an enjoyable smoke.
