Black Ops Cigars have had this same effect on many-a-connoisseur since arriving on the scene not too long ago, but with their newest, and quite possibly best release yet, the line will be crossed, and everyone who dare cross it will be committed for life. There will be no turning back, but the silver lining is, when you cross this line, you’ll never want to. Black Ops Rubicon is a bold statement, one you will have to try to believe.

Rubicon, the blend that will have you committed from the very first draw, looks tasty enough to eat. Arriving with guns blazing in a Sun-drenched Pennsylvania Broadleaf maduro wrapper, Rubicon is easy on the eyes to say the least. Lying just beneath, a refined Brazilian binder hugs long-leaf fillers from the Dominican, Honduras, and Panama. If you weren’t counting, that’s a 5-country onslaught on flavor that you can only hope your palate will be prepared for. Complex notes of sweet cream, coffee, oak, and black cherry all make appearances throughout the duration of this medium to full-bodied treat. With a blend as rare as this, it should go without saying that quantities are extremely limited. My recommendation…hop on these bad boys early, before this gravy train comes to a halt.

Excellent
Honestly this is one of my favorite cigars. I repurchase every time my stock of them gets low. I enjoy stronger smokes with a good, consistent complexity, and this is perfect for me.

Decent
Not a bad cigar gets quite strong toward the end

Surprisingly Salty Flavor
Flavor is....alright? The coffee taste is there and it is smooth but there is a distinct salty undertone throughout much of the cigar. I've had two so far and the first one did not have the salty issue as much as the second so it might be a fluke. Still, the only time I wanna taste salt water during a smoke is if I'm miles out at sea.

Like em!!
I really like these sticks. They are a great stick to throw in the mix once a week. Good flavor and last about 45 to an hour.

This torpedo exploded upon delivery.
Very loosely rolled. Wrapper disintegrated before I was able to light it. Poor quality leaves including a twig like stem protruding from the cigar when I cut the tip off. Am working on humidifying this delivery and will update my review if things improve with this Smoke.

Walnut
This is a very smooth cigar. Not peppery like the others. The flavor is like that of a walnut. If you enjoy walnuts this cigar is for you. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be purchading more

Hidden gem
I tried these as they were a 24hr special. Glad I did as they will now be part of my permanent rotation. Great flavor, lots of smoke and a smooth draw. Shared a couple with some buddies and they were impressed as well

A Covert Winner
Exactly as described. I am no expert by any means but have smoked enough varieties and gained plenty of insight from others to appreciate that the flavor, aroma, smooth draw, and just about everything about the Black Ops Rubicon rates this one way up there. My favorite cigar so far!
