Scout’s honor, Black Ops Connecticut is one of the best mellow cigars I’ve encountered in quite some time, period. I handed one to a buddy and the result was nothing less than expected. He thought it was a five to seven dollar cigar. My thoughts exactly. Big on flavor, but tame in demeanor, Black Ops Connecticut puffs with the best of them.
Let's take a closer look at the cigar shall we? Black Ops Connecticut features a silky-smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper gracing a mellow blend of Cuban-seed tobaccos. This combination yields a deliciously creamy and crisp profile layered with nuances of oak, cream, pepper, and cocoa. Delivering ample flavor and enough strength to keep you interested, it's without a doubt the bowl of porridge that's just right.
The price was right, and I wanted a few more cigars in my order so I went for it. Expectations were low, but I was interested because I never order toward the mild side of the scale. I was very pleased in the end. It gave me a new appreciation for mild cigars! Very enjoyable smoke without a head rush, which sometimes I am just not in the mood for.
I picked up some of these along with free shipping ,, ya I'm cheep like that ,, I found them not so good out of the box. I forgot about them for about two weeks in the humidor, my stach started running low, and saw them again ,, WOW ,, what a difference. It turned into a good burner.
Smoked one of these right off the truck and found it to have quite a bit of flavor. Made by k. hansotia & co. These are basically a "Budget Ghurkha". Not bad at all, product description is pretty accurate.. I would buy these again but do advise that they get at least a couple of weeks rest in your humi before fully enjoying em'.
