The ol' packaging SNAFU! Listen, here's the skinny: I've received so many different bands of Bahia Gold over the years that I've lost count... this is one such version. After premiering two years ago, I've since been told that this Bahia is, once again, going the way of the Dodo, and we need to clear out the bundles to get the new inventory in.... so how's half off our old price sound? I promise you, I'm making barely anything on this deal, and you're scoring a top-quality blend for pennies on the dollars. Help me out, would ya?

Those of you who attended CigarFEST 2016 had the privilege of burning an absolute ton of new cigars, before they hit the market. And if there was one brand I heard buzz about at the show, it was Bahia. That's right, baby. The revamped Bahia Gold is back, box-pressed, and bodacious! After coming to light in the cigar boom in the 1990s, Bahia Gold was a popular line for years. It ran a hot streak then disappeared, but now we're ready for the comeback, and Bahia Gold is delivering in spades.

A medium to full offering, Bahia Gold cigars are ready to become a mainstay in your humidor. A silky Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers makes this one creamy, leathery, with just a bit of spice on the finish. Cigars like this are perfect for waking up your palate, or for just kicking back and relaxing after a long day. You may turn up your nose when I tell you these aren't shipped in a box, but have no fear — Bahia Gold is worth its weight in… well, you know.

NOT the the Bahia gold i remember, the old gold white label was a very good smoke for the money. the new gold is no more than a copper at best. very disappointed. well constructed but lacking in flavor.
