Bahia Connecticut Deluxe

A Deluxe blend at a value price

Starting under $1.50 per stick, how could you go wrong? Well, there are a few ways you could, but luckily with Bahia Connecticut Deluxe, that isn’t the case. Here, Bahia delivers in spades. At hand, boxes of 40 ‘Cuban sandwich’ style, Ecuador-grown Connecticut wrapped stogies that are equipped with all the quality and flavor you would expect from blends boasting price tags five times steeper.

Fancy bands and boxes were bypassed with the main focus being to deliver an affordable, tasty blend that you will be able to partake in every day. Enjoyable notes of cream, cedar, and a slight spice entertain the palate while you are knee deep in that honey-do day. But whether you are kickin’ around a cigar while doing some yard work, or enjoying it with a cocktail as the day is winding down, at these tasty prices, you simply can’t go wrong.

Great Product
So far so good I'm really enjoying this cigar. It was recommended by a friend. Good mild smoke. Burns nice and even. The flavor is nice and full marks are great too. I look forward to having more of these.

Disappointed
I have been disappointed in Bahia lately. I seems like 25% of the cigars are rolled to tight and you cannot get a good draw. I do not complain because they are a great cigar for the price!

Well I bought a box
Well I bought a box and was skepticle, given the bargain price. But the other Bahia cigars I have smoked were very good, so I gave it a try. I would give this good marks as a lighter smoke, for an everyday cigar. All good marks for quality, taste, burn. Its not a premium cigar, but sometimes I just want a smoke that is easy and inexpensive. This one is all that. I will be buying more, it will always be in my humidor for when I just want a mild cigar. Four stars.

Fine cigar
Had to wait till I got over the winter bronchitis to try it out but I finally got to go on a worthwhile golf road trip and smoke one of these babies. It was great and had a great draw. Thanks again.

Excellent for the price
As an "Every day" mild to medium smoke, this cigar is an excellent value. It is well constructed for the most part, although a few were harder to draw than the rest. For the price - you can't beat it.

Meh .....
Meh .. Bought a box. Smoked most of them. Most definitely an easily forgettable experience. Won;t go there again.

Good,pleasant,mild
Mild smoke all the way through, no harshness at the end. On a second box now. The first box came with right moisture, second came a bit moist. Some time in the humidor will fix that. Good everyday smoke and good price.

My husband loves this cigar!!!!!!!

Not bad
Decent cigar only complaint i have is they are loosely rolled so you are spitting tobacco most of the smoke.

One bad cigar
These Were the worst cigars I ever smoked terrible draw then they unravel bad bad bad smoke will never buy them again

Poor draw, bitter
I bought a box of these cigars and the whole box is bad. The draw is so bad it’s hard to keep the cigar lit. They also smell like a swisher sweet when you finally get it lit. So bitter you can barely smoke it. Overall one of the worst cigars I’ve smoked in 25 years.

Near perfection
Great cigar, well constructed, easy draw, smokes quite evenly with a few touch ups. This may be my go to cigar, New Cuba is my current go to cigar.

Bahia Connecticut Deluxe Torpedo
Excellent cigar superbly made. Taste is light but fully satisfying. Cigar holds together no matter how much it is chomped. I smoke 3-4 a day with an occasional maduro in between each 2. Cigar smell is great. A head turner from other smokers who wish they had one to smoke Definitely would buy again

Decent smoke for an ugly stick
Decent for an everyday smoke. Taste is good, but the stick isn't pretty. This cigar softens in summer heat, so you better have a good humidor to keep them safe.

Coop and the Bahia
This is an excellent smoke for the money. The flavor is light and consistent. Never harsh and never an aftertaste. You will enjoy this fishing and on the golf course.

Disappointing for a Bahia smoke
Typically I like Bahia cigars and have very positive things to say about them. However, these have proven to be very disappointing. The flavor is good when I can get them to stay together. thus far at least 50% of them have had wrappers that are so dry they tear as soon as they are removed from the sleeve, the filler behaves like its made of "chopped" tobacco. Very disappointing.

Great tasting cigar. Only complaint I have is these weren't rolled very tight so the burn was fast.

What a clean refreshing change when I tried these little sticks. Fresh and smoooooth from the start till the lip burning end. Will be keeping these in reserve from now on.

cheap smoke
the price was right so thought I would try them. Wrapper was too thin and wanted to unravel. Small pieces of filler were ever present on lip. Cigar had no firmness due to light pack. Would not recommend.

Nice, mild and smooth smoke. Great value for an everyday smoke. However did find them to be soft and loosely made.

if you love green tea and mint, you will love these.
one very big disappointment, taste like green tea, rappers are cracked and burn very uneven, another bad pick.

They’re fine for the money.
They’re fine for the money. However almost every cigar became unraveled when I cut the end off which was a bit frustrating related to its quality

Okay for every day smoke.
Price was right, taste was okay, cigars lite easy. One in for was made right. Most were soft and not packed with the proper amount of filler. This met the cigar was a quick smoke and you felt like you are sucking air. Could use some improvement with the amount of filler used in this cigar.

4 Stars with a major asterisk
I have gone through half a box of this blend and have been sadly disappointed. I really can't complain because the price per stick is so reasonable that I have no right to expect a 5 star smoke. My problem is the lack of consistency in each smoke. The wrapper has started peeling away from the cigar before I made my cut. I have my cigars perfectly kept so it wasn't my humidor's condition that caused the problem. The flavor went from creamy to bitter in a hurry. The taste from one cigar to another varied too much to say I'd buy another box but that's just me. Again, a reasonable stick for the price but not what I've grown to expect from other items in the Bahia line. I just hope that this was an anomaly to the brand but again, in spite of my personal complaints, you still can't complain when you figure the price per stick.

New go to cigar.
A fine tasting everyday cigar. Burns just right, nice aroma. A little loosely rolled but still good. Very good value for your dollar.
