Bought these and a box of the candelas. The Nicaraguas have an easy draw and a steady burn. The candelas have an easy draw and the burn requires touching up occasionally.

It is a good smoke, but a bit stronger than I expected. I tried it because it was rated middle of the road in strength. I was looking for a mellow smoke, but this is considerably stronger than mellow.

These more full-bodied Baccarat cigars are not made quite as well as the regular Baccarat, but they do have a pretty nice flavor. in general, they do burn fairly well, with a few exceptions because they are just a wee bit lose. They only get three stars because there are many other cigars that are somewhat less expensive that burn and taste as good or better (see Flor de Oliva). I might buy them again, but I think I would go for the regular Baccarat (even though they are a bit mild) because they are constructed better.

I enjoy these cigars quite a bit. However the customer service at Cigars International is fantastic. I encountered a delivery problem from a previous order. After contacting the customer service department a replacement order was sent immediately, without difficulty. Still don’t know what happened to my original order (UPS) , but Cigars International took good care of me.

I usually smoke a Baccarat Luchador in the afternoon but started wanting something not as mild, although I still smoke these while surfcasting in the mornings. I find the fuller flavor, constant taste beginning to end, and size of the NPC perfect for an after lunch cigar. It's one of my new favorites and a great cigar as far as most bang for your buck.

I have been a Baccarat cigar fan for a long time. So naturally I wanted to try the new Baccarat Nicaragua. It is a good cigar, if you are familiar with the regular Baccarat cigars they are smooth,mild, and generally burn evenly. The New Baccarat Nicaragua has all the same quality’s and has more flavors present. It smokes just as smooth as the originals all the way to the nub. Here are the reasons I didn’t give this cigar a 5 star. I think they could be packed a little tighter, then I would give them a 95 rating. The other and most important reason is I don’t want them to be too popular, then they will be out of stock.😉 Michael
