Amati

TRY THIS….and tell me it’s not the best value around.

This is not an optical illusion. It is not a misprint. Nor is it a sick joke. This is 100% the real deal, boyo! That’s right, here at CI we make miracles happen, and this one is worthy of notifying all the clergymen. USA Connecticut wrapped lovelies in a box for right around a dollar a stick. Holy s…err cow, is right! And it gets even better. Each is constructed with Dominican long-fillers, for a modest, smooth, and creamy experience. Oh, yes. It’s a damn near impossible combination at these prices. Be one of the first in line, and fully enjoy thy spoils.

Better than most reviews
Read all the bad reviews but the one I got in as a post was well constructed , burned evenly and very enjoyable. Did I just get lucky or are all you with bad just full of scrap? Maybe alittle full box is different. But don't see how. I

AMATI Toro
I smoked the one that came in my 'sampler' pack. WOW!! I was floored at the really great taste and super awesome aroma! I mean this thing 'Trumped' my expectations! Seriously folks, the creamy vanilla-like flavor, clean burn, easy draw and beautiful white ash had me thinking I was in cigar Heaven! I will be buying more of these gems!

Get what you pay for.
I smoke a lot or cheap cigars at work while I'm driving around but these I find hard to even finish, probably the worst cigar I've had in 10+ years. The flavor is a mix of ashtray and chemical burn. Construction wise they are hit or miss I've had a few tunnel bad, couple rolled super tight, and a few that smoked fine but had weird lumps etc. Smoke these if you're on a super tight budget but that's it.

Good value.
I got this in I think the humidor deal.. Regardless, it isn't a bad stick. Initially this one had a great draw and a mostly self correcting burn. As cheap as it is that was surprising. Right off the bat I got a mild to medium flavor strength with some cream and a pretty peppery core. Throughout those changed hands with what flavor was more prominent. There is a slight harshness in the back of the throat, but nothing a drink of water or coffee wouldn't fix. There was one moment of a tight draw, but it dissappeared. You should take care not to smoke too fast because it'll get hot quick. Overall not a bad stick. Getting into the last third now and the pepper is ramping up some-no nicotine punch. I think it'd go good with a flat white or something of that nature. Goes without saying-there are definitely better out there-but it's a cheap stick and it's good enough that I won't be quitting early.

unsmokable
I didn't expect much from them but the entire box was rolled so tight you couldn't smoke them. I finally just threw them out.

Enjoyable; not extroardinary
I'm new to cigars, so take this review with a grain of salt. I got one of these in a sampler pack. The best way I can describe the taste is creamy, somewhat sweet, and mild. It was a good stick in terms of construction: held together, easy draw, burned evenly. Overall, it was a decent, pleasurable, and underwhelming (ie not exciting) smoke.

Hated it.
Was so hot it tasted like bug spray. Hated it.
4 out of 5
good smoke, great value
Medium taste with a good burn. The cigar is a bit tight but with a knitting needle I get a perfect draw. Bought these on sale and would recommend and buy again. Excellent value.

Bad Construction
Bad construction, over half burned unevenly or developed a hollow burn causing a breakout half way down the cigar. Very harsh towards the end.

Everyday Champion!
A great every day stick all year long! For watching the game, cooking on the grill or mowing the lawn.

Good for the money
Purchased these for an event at work and went over better than I thought. The only downside is some of the wrappers were extremely dry and about 1/3 of the box split open when cutting.

Amati Robusto box
I give these out as gifts at Christmas. I have yet to get a bad review from anyone and all but a couple are avid stick connoisseurs as myself. They are simply great for a casual, everyday smoke. Great price as well.

The ones if first opened of 2 were nearly unsmokeable due to poor construction end was much better
Bought 2 boxes 1st box poorly rolled too tight, 2nd box opened were much better rolled no problem with draw like the first

Pay more and be happy!.
Definitely not my favorite choice but very reasonably prices stogies. Buy the best brands and smile as you savor that smoke.

Good cigar
Mild, smooth and clean burn. Not much flavor.
2 out of 5
Great flavor, iffy roll
The cigars themselves were a nice smoke, but some were rolled so tight there was no draw, others partially unrolled as they burnt down.

Cheap looking band, but a great smoke!
I received an Amati in a sampler and based on the cheap band, I thought it would be just another cheap tasting cigar, boy was I surprised. It was great ! Maybe they should spring for a little classier band, remember, perception is reality (sometimes)......I would definitely recommend. It burned evenly through the whole cigar, smooth and tasty with no after burn on the tongue after smoking down to a nub.

They were a good price and so I thought I would try them. Some were hard to draw and they started with a bitter taste. I guess they are not bad for the money but I won't buy them again.

Amati churchill
The 3 out of 20 I was able to smoke tasted ok for a cheap cigar, however the rest fell apart, unraveled, and most were rolled so tight they wouldn't draw. Linda Lovelace couldn't do anything with these puppies. Maybe I got a bad batch, will not purchase again.

Excellent cigar for the money.
I ordered a box of Amati Torpedos and am enjoying them. Almost without exception they have burned well and provided me with a mild but flavorable smoke. I will order them again.

Good taste but wrapper came loose
Extremely loose draw and after lit began to tunnel but corrected within first 5 minutes. Wrapper was very loose. Mild to medium with notes of coffee and pepper and a spicy finish. Taste was very nice but disappointed in performance.

It has a nice draw with subtle cocoa notes and more prominent cedar qualities. Flavorful without being overpowering. A nice smoke at a reasonable price.

Amati Toro Is Worth a Try!
I got my first Amati Toro as part of a sampler. It was a pretty good cigar, good enough that when I saw them going on sale under Cigar Fu I had to grab me a box! They're great everyday smokes but also good for special occasions too! They burn pretty even and taste great, not bitter or bland like some milder cigars can. I'd buy it again and again!
5 out of 5
Mild, nicely built. Great price.
I usually prefer a smoke with a darker, heavier flavor, but I bought 2 boxes of these to share with my crew at work. Since I was sharing with so many people, I opted for something with broader appeal. The draw is nice, burns straight and reminds me a little of a Macanudo.

Problems staying lit
I recently purchased a box of the Amati Churchills. The taste is very mild and easy to smoke but I am about halfway through the box and so far all but one cigar has had problems staying lit. They initially light easily with little to no "canoeing" but tend to go out quickly. A very hard, firm inhale is required to keep these babies burning smoothly all the way through. Fix that issue and it could be a favorite "golf course cigar" for me.

Good but not great
Have to say I won't buy based off reviews, but mine burned perfectly, nice draw, even with a very nice flavor creamy nut flavor with a tad bit of spice after taste. I'm glad I got lucky on my sampler cigar, I had mine in 70% humidity for a couple weeks. Sounds like some aren't getting fresh sticks. Glad mine was fresh. Wasn't a great cigar, just a good overall smoke.

I will have to agree
I will have to agree with another member on the Amati cigars. J enjoy the flavor of these sticks when i can find one that I can draw through. Large viens are also a problem as they don't allow the cigars to burn properly. So.... Only 2 stars

Sampler cheapo
Whoa! This cigar is part of a sampler for joining. I don't expect premium cigars, but this is awful. How can I even enjoy a cigar that falls apart upon handling??? The entire wrapper fell apart, not just where I cut the cigar. And this was just a few days after receiving the shipment and sitting in my humidor for one day. I'm 20% into the cigar and it already looks like one of those exploding cigars in a cartoon, as one reviewer mentioned. If any of my daughters saw, they'd be laughing at Daddy's cigar! The aroma of the cigar isn't bad, if you're desperate for an everyday cigar at a very low price. I am typing this as I smoke. (Real time!) Not for me. Hopefully, the other cigars in the sign up sampler are better. I noticed a CAO, which is one of my favorite brands. I'll try that when it's had a chance in my humidor.

Great every day cigar for golf course or out on the boat dragging salmon....

Incredibly underwhelming
This came as part of a sampler, and decided to smoke it tonight. Wow, terrible cigar. Burned way too fast, and canoed bigger than I have ever seen before. Mild, unimpressive flavor. By the end, it looked like one of those cigars from a cartoon that blows up. Not a good smoke at all.

No flavor at all!!
Waste of money. Bought these to try as new everyday smokes. These sticks have no flavor at all. Upon initial light I figured like some other that it would get better towards the middle, it never did. I'll be lucky to even donate these to a friend.

Worst cigar I have had in 20 years!
The first was tight and hard to draw. The second mediocre. The third I only got through a quarter of it and couldn't finish it, it burned so hot my tongue still feels burned two days later! Terrible cigar! Wouldn't give one to my enemy!

Great Cugar Value
The Amati 6x50 Toro is one fine cigar. The taste reminds me of a Macanudo . I was a little leary about trying these after reading all the bad reviews of this cigar being wrapped too tight. I do agree these cigars are wrapped too tight, however there is an old experienced cigar smokers tip for you all. Roll the cigar above the band between your thumb and fore finger and it will loosen up and you will be able to enjoy this wonderful cigar. I heard a rumor that these were made by a top manufacturer, I have no solid proof of that. However they do remind me of a Macanudo, and at this price they are a pleasure able smoke for everyday!

I really enjoy the Amati cigars, They taste good and people have come up to tell me they like the way they smell. I agree....

Very Disappointed. Probably going to throw the box away...
Really, really tight draw. It was like trying to suck a lemon through a drinking straw. The cigars have a strange chemical smell to them. I left them in my wineador for three weeks hoping it would change the taste. No go. As much as I hate to do it, I am probably going to throw the balance of the box away to make room for something smokeable. Very disappointed.

Ended up throwing out almost 1/3 of them they were wrapped so tight. They also burn hot.

Good everyday cigar for reasonable price. Only complaint is that a few cigars in each box were packed too tightly and difficult to draw.

OK initial draw, BUT had a giant hole in it.
Initial draw was OK, got lots of peppery notes. Then, 1/4 of the way the cigar was burning hot. 2/4 way in it wasn't burning nearly as hot, and had a razor sharp ash. 3/4 way it started burning hot again and had this giant hole as if someone had drilled a hole through the entire cigar LOL.

You Get What You Pay For
This cigar is cheap and that's about all it has going for it. After I recived it I put it in my humidor for a week at 70-72% humidity. It had a very hard time staying lit if you didn't take draws within 30 seconds of each other. The flavor is nothing to brag about either. The construction was very nice and dense. The keyword of this stick is CHEAP! It's not horrible but I won't be buying anymore.
3 out of 5
I almost bought a box
I received a toro Amati in a sample I purchased from CI, I placed the cigar into a newly season humidor. For three days my humidity inside the humidor fluctuated from 68%-74%. All the other cigars (50) took these changes very well. The Amati did not, being the only cigar to show signs of instability the wrapper cracked very serverly right in the center of the cigar. After another two weeks of sitting in the humidor I couldn't stand to see the attractive cigar wounded so I took it out for a smoke. After lighting I really enjoyed the taste, a very typical toasted cider mild conniticut. I liked it so much I came to CI's website to look into purchasing a box of bundle. Burn was really sharp and slow. I don't want to comment on draw to much as the cracked wrapper allowed for a fair amount of smoke to come out the side. Due to the Amati being the only cigar to have a negative effect from the humidity I have to knock it on construction. Mine also had a handful of think gains in the core. I overall enjoyed the cigar's flavor except when smoking fast I found an ugly flavor of smelly cheese (almost). I can only assume this is what others mentioned for why they would never smoke it. Overall it's not that bad of a cigar I have had worst but there are many better options some are even cheaper. Would not recommend unless you only smoke mild cigars.

Amateur Amati
The toro is a well constructed, even burning and good drawing cigar. Unfortunately the flavors varied with each and every individual cigar. Hence, the flavors were considered to be inconsistent from harsh to just ok. The price is right; however the smoke disappointing over-all.

unpleasant
Received an Amati Toro in a sampler. I read numerous negative reviews, but figured I'd give it a chance. After 4 months in the humidor I tried it out and have to agree with the naysayers - this cigar is unpleasant. It has some foul chemical taste...

Worst ever!
Horrible taste! Smoked one-half cigar and threw the other 19 away. Acrid smoke. Tastes like something died in there. I wouldn't pay a penny for these. Worst thing I've ever smoked.

Awful
Bought a box on Cyber Monday for dirt cheap, and turns out I wouldn't have paid in dirt for these they are so bad. I'm all about chances so I let the Cigars sit for 5 months and they are still bad. Terribly loose draw, ashtray taste.

Top of my favorites list
This is a wonderful cigar. Full of flavor but mild enough to burn to the end. Burns even and cool and leaves a hint of sweet on your lips. I hate to tell CI this, but I can't believe the price!
3 out of 5
Inconsistant Smoke
Although I like the taste of this cigar very much, I have found that it is inconsistant and so is the packing of the cigar. Sometimes the cigar is packed too tightly and it draws only with much greater effort than with other cigars from the same bunch.
1 out of 5
Poorly Rolled
My order of Amati Churchill cigars were almost universally poorly rolled. They were rolled to tight for a large section of the cigar causing it to have a terrible draw and not burn properly.

Better options
Nice looking cigar but the enjoyment usually ended there. Most in my box were wrapped so tightly that they were nearly impossible to draw. The few that I was able to smoke were delicious. Too many rejects for this brand and too many other great options at CI to buy again.

Strange sour taste
Persistent sour taste to the cigar that makes the smoke unpleasant.

Superb Everyday Smoke
These have a unique natural and traditional cigar flavor. They are getting much better with age. I allowed the box I ordered to sit in my 72% humidor for about two weeks before I smoked one. Superb smoke unbelievable bargain. An inexpensive quality cigar.

Smooth and tasty
I don't know about these other guys but my stick was Delicious. Smooth and easy to smoke, very creamy mild woody slightly spicy. I punctured it instead of cutting it and it burned nice and easy. It ran a little in the first 1/4 but it leveled out and burned straight. Very easy and pleasant to inhale... I put it out half way because I wanted to save it for a later time as it was the only one I have. I will be ordering more of these that's for sure.

Tried two after they arrived. The first one was alright, not the greatest draw or burn. The second the draw was so bad that I threw it out. Rest are sitting in the humi, may try in a couple of months. But we all know you get what you pay for.

NEEDS A LOT OF RESTING TIME
For the price I was not expecting much, however I am always looking for an inexpensive smoke to age in my wineador. So I did a little experiment with these. I smoked one the day they came and it was awful (knew that was coming), then smoked one at the two week mark and it was better, not great. Im going to let them sit for 6 months or so now and see what happens. If you have the time, space, and patients, I would recommend them, if you do not, its not worth it.

not bad for the price
smoked one the first day I received them, they were rather harsh. But after three weeks in my humidor, they are mellowing out. Very peppery for a mild smoke. I'm gonna give them another month and then try another. Still not bad for the price.

Wrapper
This is the second time I purchased Amati and I'm very disappointed in the way they smoke. The draw is very hard and it goes out to often. The wrapper falls apart 1/2 way through. I will not purchase these again.
4 out of 5
Great Smoke @ A Great Price
Bought 3 boxes due to the price. Should have purchased the Churchill as they burn a bit quick. However, for a long filler stick for the price, no regrets and I would for sure order again at that price. These are on the humidor shelf with the other everyday cigar that is good when fishing or cutting the lawn. A mild smoke but still has some good flavor.
3 out of 5
Bad Finish
As others have said, this is indeed a mild smoke. Mine were well made with fine draw. The problem comes in the finish. If you enjoy 2/3s of your smoke and set it down, this may be a good economical smoke for you.

Say, Heah, incident I stole that from.Willie Mays, Yup he was the original Say, Hey Kid, I like it so I stole it heh heh heh. Anyhow several months ago , actually in May, I bought 6 boxes of the Torpedos (6 X 52) because of the price and the write up.I tried a couple and it was a very mild smoke, But I stacked other boxes of cigars on top of the Amati's, Well I finally got a couple of sticks out again, (Since May to Nov they just sat), But WoW what a difference, It's still a mild cigar, but very flavorable, so I bought another 4 boxes of Churchill this time, Yeah, Would I recommand them, A very nice tasting mild cigar, , ,

Amati Churchills
Having bought several boxes of Amati Churchills, I can say that they are a satisfying smoke at a good price. I am very happy to consider them my regular cigar, and I intend to continue to buy them as long as they are available.

IT SEEMED LIKE I HAD TWO DIFFERENT CIGARS IN ONE BOX. SOME HAD AN EXCELLENT DRAW WHILE OTHERS DREW LIKE A KINKED STRAW. OVERALL GOOD FLAVOR AND SMOKE.

Was not happy
I am sure that cigars international meant well with these, but every one the amati torpedos that I received was rolled so tight that the draw was not good at all. Has to cut off almost the thwhole torpdedo end to get any type of draw at all. Taste was very grassy and very dry with outer wrapper unrolling on almost all of them even after a week in the humidor.

Great cigar for price
looking for a good humidor filler that can still be smoked. This cigar definitely fits the bill.

Amati - the good, inexpensive cigar
The Amati cigars are inexpensive, but quite enjoyable. Their aroma is pleasing, they burn well, and the wrappers do not crack easily. Therefore, I can sit on the patio at night, read a good book, and enjoy a good cigar...

amti review
when i first smoked them i thought at first they where ok but as i got closer to finishing it they seemed to get stronger and left a harsh taste. i decided to let set in the humidor longer and that seemed to help. they seem to be a little inconsistent as each one smokes different and some leave a harsh taste.

Every Day
An excellent cigar for every day smokers. It has a mellow nuttiness and mild flavor. Great " morning" cigar with your coffee.

Poor construction, bad flavor
Do not buy. Very poorly made cigar that imparts a weird, chemical aftertaste. There are many superior cigars here at CI that are comparable in price. Check out Toraño's Dominico for a good, mild daily smoker.

Good Cigar
I purloined one of these cigars from my son-in-law. I must say it's a very nice smoke. Mild flavor, even burning. Considering buying a box in the future.

Not Very Good.
Very disappointed in this smoke. Several were plugged and had to be tossed. The ones that I could get a draw from had a very funky and unpleasant taste. I would not buy these again. I smoked about 10-12 and burned the rest in the fire pit.

Well made with nice easy draw. I found it mild to medium and more than worth the price.

Not Worth The Trouble
Just finished suffering through my second box of robusto(s). Some have a difficult draw, some burned poorly and everyone was a challenge to smoke. For the same money a much more consistent, uniform and enjoyable smoke is Torano Dominico. Try 'em, you'll like them!

Rolled too tight. Bad burn. Funky flavor. Would not recommend. Tried to smoke 8 & all the same. Not worth the cost of shipping.

Customer Testimonials
The thrill of a $20 box of cigars was pretty quickly overshadowed by the build quality of the Amati Robustos I received. Every single cigar in the box burned very unevenly. A bit of a challenge to keep them going. Flavor-wise they were smooth and pleasant. If not for the burn they would be a good deal, but the effort involved killed it for me.
I'm not a cigar snob and have found a few $2 or less a stick cigars that are in my regular rotation; however, I cannot sing the praises of these. I bought a box of 20 and was not fond of the taste either out of the box or after a few months in the humi. I also found, as others have noted, that many were very tightly rolled and the draw was poor. Sorry - I'm not saying they're horrible, I just won't be buying any more.
I have sworn off buying inexpensive cigars so many times. CI sent me an e-mail regarding these cigars. In looking into them they seem to be a fairly new label. I was very surprised when I received them of how nice they are. Light draw, smoky, white ash, burned great. The trick now is going to be keeping the cigars as my experience is either the price goes up or the cigars go down. Right now a terrific buy.
For me a complete no go! Did not enjoy the flavor or the burn....
These were great cigars for the price. Had these a few months back. I am new to cigars so I have been trying many different cigar brands. So far, this has been the best I've had for the price. I liked them better than some of the more expensive brands I've purchased, so I'm going to order another box.
Gave this cigar a try and I was pretty disappointed with it. Most of them were packed way too tightly to get a good draw. When I am able to get a good draw it tastes great, but 3/4 of them just aren't smoke-able.
Bought a box of these after reading the reviews. Was hoping to find a everyday cigar. I am now down to the last 6 in the box. Have been able to smoke maybe one in three. The ones that I could smoke I really enjoyed, the others were just too tight to draw on. Even after a few weeks in the humidor they really have not gotten better.
I took up C.I.'s challenge and got a box of toros. For an every afternoon stick, they ain't bad, and after buying them, I can still afford my A/B American Sungrowns!
I just got the box today and fired one up without resting. Burned perfectly, lots of cool smoke. Not common for such low cost sticks. As for taste, I am looking forward to trying some more to really see. This one was quite bitter for the first inch but then leveled out. It did have some strange tones to it I couldn't place. I'll write another review after a couple more. For $1 a stick I want to like them. Won't be as painful sharing to all my visiting neighbors.
Had purchased the C'est la Vie brand and really liked them. However, as of late they've been on backorder, so when I came across this brand I thought they might be similar. I was looking for an everyday, smooth, mild and tasty on the cheap smoke like the C'est la Vie. Wow, hit the nail on the head. This cigar has all the above qualities and comes in a box, nice and neat. Read other reviews about the tight draw. It only seams to be right around the cap that its rolled a little tight. I took a paper clip and stuck a few holes in the area where I snipped the cap off and it smoked great. It's all good
These are a good low budget cigar. Too mild for me, but no bad taste or after taste, which is rare for an inexpensive stick in my experience. Good for hand outs to new or mooching smokers. They burn well, but has a light ash so watch it.
WOW! I ordered the Toro size and tried it right out of the box. The good news is, I found a new favorite mild cigar. The bad news - I will need another humidor to hold more of these. Mellow and smooth throughout, hints of vanilla and honey. I've tried lots of 'gars in this price range and this is my favorite.
This is one of the best cigars I have smoked, at a great deal anyway. I totally look forward to my next box.
Great deal. I had one from a coworker; just had to order some....great price and quality.
Nice cigar, robusto, have smoked about half a bundle bought 20 more and 20 torpedo's; I like the robusto better for some reason, but both are very good for the price.
This is a fine cigar. The cigar has a smooth draw. It also has a clean flavor that compliments a nice coffee of the same strength. I will definitely be keeping these in my humidor.
This cigar is the best product for the price, in my 45 years of smoking handmades. For about four times less cash, the taste, construction, and ease of smoking, I have had enjoyment rating with the generally considered best of brands. Thanks, Amati, from a new admirer..
Nothing makes me happier than a two buck chuck and better yet, a one buck chuck. Can't beat a nice smoke at a great price. Unfortunately my faith in the tbc/obc as been shaken a bit. I've had a good deal of really nice cigars for one or two bucks but sadly, not these. Flavor is very tarry and the draw is very tight making a good mouthful of smoke impossible. Sorry, but I wouldn't go back to these.
Really great cigar, smoked one on my 1 hour + drive to work. Very tasty smoke would buy these again!
Good smoke for a buck! Keep in mind that you are getting a cigar that is not a high-end brand and so your expectations should not be high. However, this is a good everyday brand if that is what you are looking for in a cheap cigar.
I really wanted to like the cigars. But to be honest, most of them are rolled too tightly to smoke easily.
My experience regarding the purchase of budget sticks has been somewhat akin to a crapshoot, sometimes you get burned. However, I decided to roll the dice on Amati and I am glad I did. The cigar smokes just like another budget brand Quorum Shade which is a good thing. I am typing this after having smoked a few of them now and they have all been consistently good in every category. And the fact that they come in a box and not a bundle is in a word amazing. If you desire a decent mild budget stick I dont think you can go wrong with these.
Pretty amazing! The first half is on the mild side, but the second half kicks into medium with excellent flavor. I did a comparison with a 5 Vegas Gold, and in my opinion, the Amati won out.
These are a great daily smoke, nice easy draw and very tasty. Great all around deal!
Just bought a box to give a try. For just around a $1 each these sticks are not bad at all. It will only get better with a little time in the humidor! For those looking for a good everyday smoke, this is a winner.
Just tried the robusto. The first one smoked great. The second drew little smoke. The third is smoking just fine. So we shall see. However the taste is great and at a buck a stick you can't go wrong. I'll buy them again.
I am looking for an everyday smoke and this is definitely a candidate. A great smoke after work with a glass of bourbon. Good flavor at a low cost.
Great draw, good construction, well made cigar with consistant flavor from one stick to the next, but unfortunatly not a flavor that I prefer.... But thanks to CI for bringing deals like this to the table, at $20 per box not anything I regret.
I bought a box of these cigars for everyday smokes. I smoked one right out of the box and was pleasantly surprised. The stick was smooth and the flavor was fantastic and the draw was good. I have smoked more expensive cigars that tasted worse. These cigars are well worth the money. I'm no cigar expert but I love these sticks. I would recommend these to anyone as an everyday smoke!
Smooth, mild cigar, and great price. This is now one of my favorites, would choose over more expensive cigars!
These cigars might be the standard that should be used to define the law of diminishing returns. Are they a top shelf smoke with a pristine wrapper and a unique and memorable "wow" inducing flavor? NO. Are they a nice mild and smooth cigar with a nice burn and draw? Yes. Then, at a buck a stick, I personally haven't smoked a two dollar stick that is two times better, a four dollar stick that is four times better, a six dollar stick that's six times better, you get picture. These make other well known budget cigars seem overpriced, and they are a great addition to your normal top shelf favorites for that casual everyday smoke.
My order just arrived and got a chance to light up my first Amati. I can't say I'm dissatisfied with my purchase. For around a buck a stick this is an OK everyday smoke. Great price and a good mild flavor. A little uneven burn but all a great deal. Thanks C.I.!
Excellent cigar! I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent construction, easy lighting and a nice draw. Notes of cream, nuts, cedar and even a few hints of coffee please the palate. This is a better cigar than many $5 dollar sticks out there. Buy these cigars, you will definitely enjoy them. Thanks, CI, and please keep these in stock.
