Amati

TRY THIS….and tell me it’s not the best value around.

This is not an optical illusion. It is not a misprint. Nor is it a sick joke. This is 100% the real deal, boyo! That’s right, here at CI we make miracles happen, and this one is worthy of notifying all the clergymen. USA Connecticut wrapped lovelies in a box for right around a dollar a stick.

Holy s…err cow, is right! And it gets even better. Each Amati cigar is constructed with Dominican long-fillers, for an incredibly smooth and creamy experience. Oh, yes. It’s a damn near impossible combination at these prices. Be one of the first in line, and fully enjoy thy spoils.

One of the best inexpensive cigars ive had. Great for hanging out in the garage or working in the yard and sharing with friends. Discovered these in a sampler i got and decided to try a box. So far i havnt had a problem with any of them.

Very good quality for the price. I am looking for a Macanudo Cafe alternative that is mild, has a real Connecticut shade wrapper, and is at an affordable price. Amati Churchill gives me all three.

Pretty Decent
I was surprised by this budget-friendly cigar. It’s a pretty decent smoke. I did have to correct a couple times, but that happens with even some more expensive cigars as well. It definitely has a great, rich taste that lasts throughout the entire stick. I am glad I purchased these and won’t hesitate to get them in the future.

A TALE OF TWO HALVES
ONE CIGAR AND TWO SMOKING EXPERIENCES. IT LIGHTS EASILY AND BURNS SMOOTHLY. EXPECT THE FIRST THIRD OF YOUR SMOKE TO BE SOMEWHAT HARSH WHILE THE WIND UP IS A REMARKABLY GOOD SMOKE. NICELY PRICED TOO.

Good until the last half.
Like others have reported...these are ok until you reach the last half or last third. Then they just to start smoking and tasting like a wet wash rag.

Real decent smoke
As a newbie who has only smoked a handful of premium cigars I must say not a bad one for sure. I got a sampler with humidor and this was one that I got in it. So far the 5 Vegas "a" series was my favorite. But this cigar was actually really decent. The only issue I had was a really uneven burn into the first third. The taste was a slight sweet on the lips but the finish was not long and no spice at all had a slight nutty taste almost hazelnut I guess. (still discovering my palate) but compared to the LA Perla 1515 that came in sampler I'd choose this cigar hands down over that one. Nothing much else to say just don't watch the YouTube review on this cigar before smoking because what he discribe was 180degree different and could deter you from enjoying this cigar.

They're not bad "working around the yard/in the garage cigars"...
Nothing special... If you let these sit for a few months the burn is uneven but manageable. They have a brown paper bag appearance and texture, and are very toothy! In my experience they are lightly packed and drawl easy, they have a simi-sweet aroma but a straight tobacco taste, a little floral and very lite burnt caramel retrohale. Like I said, if you can afford to let them sit in a humi for a few months 74% to 76% humidity (once again; in my experience, they like high humidity) they're not bad "working around the yard/in the garage cigars". However, I personally would spend a few extra bucks and pickup a 20 pack of the Torano Dominico, one of the best all-around cheap smokes you can buy, they'll anti-up a great burn and are a bit nutty!

Just a little more
I do enjoy the mildness of these sticks, but the initial light-up leaves me with an off taste. After the initial light-up the mildness is kind on the palette, and short on flavor. They are an o.k. smoke, but nothing to jump and down about.

I recently purchased a box. My issue was that 6 of the 20 were not rolled properly and there was NO draw, even after trying to push a hole over 1.5 inches into the cigars. Not thinking I will purchase them again.

Don't buy these!
These cigars are terrible. They don't stay lit unless they're side-burning. They don't draw well, and they don't taste good. I threw away ½ a box because I simply didn't want to mess with them anymore.

Decent smoking cigar. Clouds of puffy white smoke. However, use a regular cutter to open it rather than a punch. Using a punch seems to make for a harder draw and the spark to fizzle.

Not very good cigars
These are supposed to be Dominicans. They’re more like Hondurans. Not much flavor. Inconsistent draw. Frequent side burns. I bought some Churchills too but haven’t opened them yet. I sure hope they’re better.

Delicious but Resistant to Easy Drawing
I have enjoyed the flavor but 4 out of the first 5 I smoked were really hard drawing. I am ready to run a bamboo skewer down the center to open up a channel so that I don't have to struggle to enjoy this item.

Amati Torpedo
Pleasantly surprised and well worth the price for and everyday gar. Mild, tightly packed, good draw and an ash 3/4 of the cigar long.
4 out of 5
Decent
According to some reviews people say they were rolled too tight but that was not the case with my box. Very mild. Too mild for my taste but overall a pleasant smoke. Great to keep for friends or just cruising down the highway. Flavor is a 3 star but the price makes up for a little.
5 out of 5
good taste
These are my favorite cigars, I enjoy the blend of tobacco Amati uses giving them a very distinct taste. No other cigar is like it.
4 out of 5
Mild easy uncomplicated
Super mild stick, but good. The draw was near perfect (I used a punch), the burn was wavy at times but self corrected and didn't need a touch-up, and plenty of good smoke out put. The flavors were all really mild, but I did get hits of wood, nuts, and pepper here and there, but mostly just a light pleasant mild tobacco and cream. The richness did pick up a small amount in the last third as it started to heat up a bit more, but still stayed really light bodied. No strength at all, which I like. I'm not a fan of the head rush I get with some of the stronger sticks. All in all, a light and easy smoke that's enjoyable from start to finish.

Amati Churchill, a sweet, tasty surprise
Bought a box out of curiosity. First two were a tight roll, unsmokable, disappointing at best. I was about to give them away. Glad I didn't! The third was the charm! Easier draw, mild, smooth, pleasant aroma and surprising taste! The rest were a nice, even burning, everyday smoke that was easy on my palate and my bank account! Thanks CI for another affordable Gem! I will order more of these!

Surprising Contentment
I had never heard of these before, so gave them a whirl. The draw is a little firm & they don't stay lit if you leave them unattended for a few minutes. Other than that, satisfying flavor, burn, and aroma. Great for an evening of solitude or fellowship with friends & family. You also don't feel guilty giving one away for the reasonable price paid, smoke on!

Exactaly as advertised
First let me start out this is not a high end cigar. But that being said this is an extremely well made mild cigar that is perfect as a yardgar. For the price I haven't found a cigar that can match it. It's perfect for kicking around the yard or doling out to people that wouldn't appreciate a high end expensive cigar. I have a 2 cigar lawn that means it takes me 2 hours to cut it . So this cigar is the perfect price point and quality to just smoke and enjoy the afternoon. The only reason for the four stars is because one in the box had a hard draw and I couldn't finish it. It's construction is top notch I only have to ash it once maybe twice. Cigar snobs will scoff at this little gem but then again who wants to listen to cigar snobs. It's a great value and a fine little smoke for times when you just want a cigar you don't have to worry about

Could be worse, could be bettter.
The oldest adages are always the truest. You get what you pay for with this cigar. I bought a box because they were inexpensive with the idea I would have them around for guests who don't usually smoke and it wouldn't be a big deal if they puffed on it twice and threw it out. I was hoping there would be a chance though they would be decent enough for me to smoke here and there as well. Overall mediocre cigar. At least 3-4 stems that run end to end through almost every cigar and fairly hit or miss with a bit too tight of rolling which isn't enjoyable for newbies or aficionados.

with out a doubt the worst cigars i have purchased, 3 out of the seven i have smoked had a horrible taste had to throw them out, one had a tobacco stem from tip to tip (not sure if that is what made it taste so bad )the other 4 or 5 have not been to bad, i will not buy any more that is for sure.

Great draw and perfect burn but tasted awful!

Amati Topedo
Good even burn but starts out rather bland. Midway til the end is flavorful with hints of nuts and oak. Overall, good smoke with a good draw-I'd smoke em again.

Disappointed in Amati
Very disappointing cigar. They are so tightly packed it was hard to draw, even after running a cigar poker thru it. Maybe 1 out of 8 were smokable. The rest just piled up in the ashtray after seeing if the next one was better. The price was right but still a waste of money.

Draw is Marginal at best.
I bought theses because they were cheap. I give them to the people who are smoking but do not care what it is. I purchased some avocados at the same time. The Draw is excellent flavor is almost non existant .. but again they serve the purpose.

Pretty disappointing.
Pretty disappointed. 1 out of 5 cigars would draw - too tightly packed. I'm trying to figure out how to make these work, even for the price.

Better Before Lighting
This one was somewhat of a disappointment to me. Keep in mind I have a sensitive palate and truly appreciate a cigar with notes of cocoa, cream, earth and leather. As always I took my time smelling the cigar and tasting the flavors before lighting (and just so you know, I always use a wooden match to light my cigars to keep the flavors and NOT burn the leaves). Upon completing the first cigar, then the second and third, I tasted more spice (pepper) than the advertised "modest, smooth and creamy" fillers. These are now in the "giveaway" humidor.

Undistinguished Flavor, Irregular Burn
The purchase was made based on a ‘bargain’ price, and while I don’t have regrets for trying them, I will not be purchasing any more of this brand. I found the flavor to be relatively mild, but nothing particularly to recommend it from a mass of other smokes. My main critique is that the burn is very uneven and requires a bit of re-light fussing. I gave away a few of these to friends to try as well and got back a consistent set of comments saying their burns were also erratic and troublesome.

Great second cigar
Mellow taste but did not seem as tightly packed as others and smoked faster. Great for a second smoke on a two cigar night.

Good smoke
I was pleasantly surprised by this cigar. A good smoke that suites my taste. I did find that 1 out 5 are wrapped roo tight and makes for a tough draw. Other than that a good smoke for the price.

Excellent buy
The Amati Torpedo is a very good mild to medium smoke with a smooth draw and nice slow burn. It pairs well with that first after work glass of Irish or bourbon. Highly recommended.

Not impressed
Unfortunately I was attracted by the price, but you know what they say, you don’t get something for nothing. Taste was Ok but hard to enjoy given they were wrapped to tight and near impossible to draw on without cutting an inch off. Sorry - a bit brutal but everything else about CI including every purchase, and every cigar, have been as advertised and as expected.

Worst smoke I've ever had
Horrid. These are the worst. Opening the box I got a whiff of insecticide. I wasn't even sure I wanted to try one but I did. Cold draw the first tell tasted like a menthol cigarette. After lighting it was a harsh chemical taste. I had to relight at least a dozen times before I had smoked 2 inches then I tossed it out the window. I just wish I hadn't bought 4 boxes.
2 out of 5
Wish I could justify the expense.....
Couldn't summons any flavor worth talking about, wundrin how they were rendered close to tasteless.
1 out of 5
Eh, better options out there.
I thought it had a funny, almost tang to the flavor. Ended up just giving them away. But construction was acceptable. Just not a pleasant aftertaste. I'd rather have a Golden Siesta than these.

Smoke the Cellophane Wrapper Instead
Clearly the worst cigar I've ever smoked. It was rolled WAY too tight and IMPOSSIBLE to draw. It had no flavor whatsoever. It unwrapped as it burned (when it burned). Puff every five seconds or reach for your lighter. I would highly suggest that you smoke the cellophane wrapper instead, and just toss the cigar. Too bad the review won't allow a "Minus Five Stars." In case you're still not sure whether I liked it or not, I didn't.

another good deal from CI
I admit it..I am a bargain hunter and this is one. I had two that ran on me but still a good smoke for the money and they mellow wonderfully in a humidor with other smokes.
4 out of 5
great value, taste and aroma
The Amati Torpedo is a great value....taste and aroma is very good for a mild cigar ! A lot of talk about the draw, well I found it to be slightly tight, so I pushed a toothpick into it after the cut.......no more problem with draw. Will continue to order and would recommend to a friend. Using a toothpick may sound cheesy, but it works...been using them on other cigars to make drawing easier.(don't leave the toothpick in your cigar though)

Uneven Burn, below average flavor
Very uneven burn, terrible taste and even worse after taste. I got one in a sampler and can say it's the worst cigar I've had yet. Spend a few extra bucks and find something better like the Torano Dominico.

not bad for the money
Service was awesome, cigar was ok. Great taste and draw but very uneven burn on most. Still, not bad for the money.

Bad from beginning....
This is the worst cigar I have ever tried to smoke. I cannot puff fast enough to keep the cigar lit. I've relit three times to smoke less than an inch and my tongue is on fire. I cannot tell what it taste like, but I know the price I paid was too high. Rolled newspaper would have been a more enjoyable experience.
4 out of 5
Not bad for a cheap mild
I received this in a humidor package I ordered. I prefer full bodied smokes but this was not bad for something mild. It was a well rolled stick with a pleasurable taste and aroma for a cigar of its caliber. I consider this to be much better than most mild cigars I have tried in this price range. In fact I am going to make room in my Newair fridge for a box to have for kick-around's and handouts.
1 out of 5
BAD
I don't normally write reviews for cigars, but I thought I'd warn you of these. I got one of these, I have no idea where, probably in a sampler somewhere. I've had it in my humidor for probably a few months at least, was looking for just a simple cigar I didn't need to really think about while working on my car. This is by far the worst cigar i've ever had, tasted like i was licking my ashtray. Threw it away after minutes.
1 out of 5
Some cigars are wrapped too
Some cigars are wrapped too tight and some too loose. Outer leafs of cigar do not burn evenly. Some cigars burn too quickly in the center (filler). Some cigars burn halfway and go out.
4 out of 5
Give it a shot. It worked for me.
I got one of these in a sampler. It was a very pleasing smoke. I didn't have any problems with draw or build and it had a good taste and nice aroma with no harsh aftertaste. I'm keeping some around.
3 out of 5
Good, but not great
The Amati Coronas and Torpedos I purchased share a similar fault. Though a tasty smoke, they have an inconsistently tight draw and are difficult to keep lit on the golf course. They are peppery with a hint of leather as an after taste. I will not buy them again.
4 out of 5
Better than most reviews
Read all the bad reviews but the one I got in as a post was well constructed , burned evenly and very enjoyable. Did I just get lucky or are all you with bad just full of scrap? Maybe alittle full box is different. But don't see how. I

AMATI Toro
I smoked the one that came in my 'sampler' pack. WOW!! I was floored at the really great taste and super awesome aroma! I mean this thing 'Trumped' my expectations! Seriously folks, the creamy vanilla-like flavor, clean burn, easy draw and beautiful white ash had me thinking I was in cigar Heaven! I will be buying more of these gems!

Get what you pay for.
I smoke a lot or cheap cigars at work while I'm driving around but these I find hard to even finish, probably the worst cigar I've had in 10+ years. The flavor is a mix of ashtray and chemical burn. Construction wise they are hit or miss I've had a few tunnel bad, couple rolled super tight, and a few that smoked fine but had weird lumps etc. Smoke these if you're on a super tight budget but that's it.

Good everyday cigar
3 out of 5
Good value.
I got this in I think the humidor deal.. Regardless, it isn't a bad stick. Initially this one had a great draw and a mostly self correcting burn. As cheap as it is that was surprising. Right off the bat I got a mild to medium flavor strength with some cream and a pretty peppery core. Throughout those changed hands with what flavor was more prominent. There is a slight harshness in the back of the throat, but nothing a drink of water or coffee wouldn't fix. There was one moment of a tight draw, but it dissappeared. You should take care not to smoke too fast because it'll get hot quick. Overall not a bad stick. Getting into the last third now and the pepper is ramping up some-no nicotine punch. I think it'd go good with a flat white or something of that nature. Goes without saying-there are definitely better out there-but it's a cheap stick and it's good enough that I won't be quitting early.

unsmokable
I didn't expect much from them but the entire box was rolled so tight you couldn't smoke them. I finally just threw them out.
4 out of 5
Enjoyable; not extroardinary
I'm new to cigars, so take this review with a grain of salt. I got one of these in a sampler pack. The best way I can describe the taste is creamy, somewhat sweet, and mild. It was a good stick in terms of construction: held together, easy draw, burned evenly. Overall, it was a decent, pleasurable, and underwhelming (ie not exciting) smoke.

Hated it.
Was so hot it tasted like bug spray. Hated it.

good smoke, great value
Medium taste with a good burn. The cigar is a bit tight but with a knitting needle I get a perfect draw. Bought these on sale and would recommend and buy again. Excellent value.

Bad Construction
Bad construction, over half burned unevenly or developed a hollow burn causing a breakout half way down the cigar. Very harsh towards the end.

I give these out as gifts at Christmas. I have yet to get a bad review from anyone and all but a couple are avid stick connoisseurs as myself. They are simply great for a casual, everyday smoke. Great price as well.

Great flavor, iffy roll
The cigars themselves were a nice smoke, but some were rolled so tight there was no draw, others partially unrolled as they burnt down.

Cheap looking band, but a great smoke!
I received an Amati in a sampler and based on the cheap band, I thought it would be just another cheap tasting cigar, boy was I surprised. It was great ! Maybe they should spring for a little classier band, remember, perception is reality (sometimes)......I would definitely recommend. It burned evenly through the whole cigar, smooth and tasty with no after burn on the tongue after smoking down to a nub.

Amati churchill
The 3 out of 20 I was able to smoke tasted ok for a cheap cigar, however the rest fell apart, unraveled, and most were rolled so tight they wouldn't draw. Linda Lovelace couldn't do anything with these puppies. Maybe I got a bad batch, will not purchase again.

Excellent cigar for the money.
I ordered a box of Amati Torpedos and am enjoying them. Almost without exception they have burned well and provided me with a mild but flavorable smoke. I will order them again.

Good taste but wrapper came loose
Extremely loose draw and after lit began to tunnel but corrected within first 5 minutes. Wrapper was very loose. Mild to medium with notes of coffee and pepper and a spicy finish. Taste was very nice but disappointed in performance.

Amati Toro Is Worth a Try!
I got my first Amati Toro as part of a sampler. It was a pretty good cigar, good enough that when I saw them going on sale under Cigar Fu I had to grab me a box! They're great everyday smokes but also good for special occasions too! They burn pretty even and taste great, not bitter or bland like some milder cigars can. I'd buy it again and again!
5 out of 5
Mild, nicely built. Great price.
I usually prefer a smoke with a darker, heavier flavor, but I bought 2 boxes of these to share with my crew at work. Since I was sharing with so many people, I opted for something with broader appeal. The draw is nice, burns straight and reminds me a little of a Macanudo.

Problems staying lit
I recently purchased a box of the Amati Churchills. The taste is very mild and easy to smoke but I am about halfway through the box and so far all but one cigar has had problems staying lit. They initially light easily with little to no "canoeing" but tend to go out quickly. A very hard, firm inhale is required to keep these babies burning smoothly all the way through. Fix that issue and it could be a favorite "golf course cigar" for me.

Good but not great
Have to say I won't buy based off reviews, but mine burned perfectly, nice draw, even with a very nice flavor creamy nut flavor with a tad bit of spice after taste. I'm glad I got lucky on my sampler cigar, I had mine in 70% humidity for a couple weeks. Sounds like some aren't getting fresh sticks. Glad mine was fresh. Wasn't a great cigar, just a good overall smoke.

I will have to agree
I will have to agree with another member on the Amati cigars. J enjoy the flavor of these sticks when i can find one that I can draw through. Large viens are also a problem as they don't allow the cigars to burn properly. So.... Only 2 stars

Sampler cheapo
Whoa! This cigar is part of a sampler for joining. I don't expect premium cigars, but this is awful. How can I even enjoy a cigar that falls apart upon handling??? The entire wrapper fell apart, not just where I cut the cigar. And this was just a few days after receiving the shipment and sitting in my humidor for one day. I'm 20% into the cigar and it already looks like one of those exploding cigars in a cartoon, as one reviewer mentioned. If any of my daughters saw, they'd be laughing at Daddy's cigar! The aroma of the cigar isn't bad, if you're desperate for an everyday cigar at a very low price. I am typing this as I smoke. (Real time!) Not for me. Hopefully, the other cigars in the sign up sampler are better. I noticed a CAO, which is one of my favorite brands. I'll try that when it's had a chance in my humidor.

Incredibly underwhelming
This came as part of a sampler, and decided to smoke it tonight. Wow, terrible cigar. Burned way too fast, and canoed bigger than I have ever seen before. Mild, unimpressive flavor. By the end, it looked like one of those cigars from a cartoon that blows up. Not a good smoke at all.

No flavor at all!!
Waste of money. Bought these to try as new everyday smokes. These sticks have no flavor at all. Upon initial light I figured like some other that it would get better towards the middle, it never did. I'll be lucky to even donate these to a friend.

Worst cigar I have had in 20 years!
The first was tight and hard to draw. The second mediocre. The third I only got through a quarter of it and couldn't finish it, it burned so hot my tongue still feels burned two days later! Terrible cigar! Wouldn't give one to my enemy!

Great Cugar Value
The Amati 6x50 Toro is one fine cigar. The taste reminds me of a Macanudo . I was a little leary about trying these after reading all the bad reviews of this cigar being wrapped too tight. I do agree these cigars are wrapped too tight, however there is an old experienced cigar smokers tip for you all. Roll the cigar above the band between your thumb and fore finger and it will loosen up and you will be able to enjoy this wonderful cigar. I heard a rumor that these were made by a top manufacturer, I have no solid proof of that. However they do remind me of a Macanudo, and at this price they are a pleasure able smoke for everyday!

Very Disappointed. Probably going to throw the box away...
Really, really tight draw. It was like trying to suck a lemon through a drinking straw. The cigars have a strange chemical smell to them. I left them in my wineador for three weeks hoping it would change the taste. No go. As much as I hate to do it, I am probably going to throw the balance of the box away to make room for something smokeable. Very disappointed.

Initial draw was OK, got lots of peppery notes. Then, 1/4 of the way the cigar was burning hot. 2/4 way in it wasn't burning nearly as hot, and had a razor sharp ash. 3/4 way it started burning hot again and had this giant hole as if someone had drilled a hole through the entire cigar LOL.

You Get What You Pay For
This cigar is cheap and that's about all it has going for it. After I recived it I put it in my humidor for a week at 70-72% humidity. It had a very hard time staying lit if you didn't take draws within 30 seconds of each other. The flavor is nothing to brag about either. The construction was very nice and dense. The keyword of this stick is CHEAP! It's not horrible but I won't be buying anymore.
3 out of 5
I almost bought a box
I received a toro Amati in a sample I purchased from CI, I placed the cigar into a newly season humidor. For three days my humidity inside the humidor fluctuated from 68%-74%. All the other cigars (50) took these changes very well. The Amati did not, being the only cigar to show signs of instability the wrapper cracked very serverly right in the center of the cigar. After another two weeks of sitting in the humidor I couldn't stand to see the attractive cigar wounded so I took it out for a smoke. After lighting I really enjoyed the taste, a very typical toasted cider mild conniticut. I liked it so much I came to CI's website to look into purchasing a box of bundle. Burn was really sharp and slow. I don't want to comment on draw to much as the cracked wrapper allowed for a fair amount of smoke to come out the side. Due to the Amati being the only cigar to have a negative effect from the humidity I have to knock it on construction. Mine also had a handful of think gains in the core. I overall enjoyed the cigar's flavor except when smoking fast I found an ugly flavor of smelly cheese (almost). I can only assume this is what others mentioned for why they would never smoke it. Overall it's not that bad of a cigar I have had worst but there are many better options some are even cheaper. Would not recommend unless you only smoke mild cigars.

Bought a box on Cyber Monday for dirt cheap, and turns out I wouldn't have paid in dirt for these they are so bad. I'm all about chances so I let the Cigars sit for 5 months and they are still bad. Terribly loose draw, ashtray taste.

even for my cheap daily cigar, it is average at best.

Great cugar
I enjoyed these smokes very much

Tobacco packed hard and thick. Hard to clip end off with my cutter. Not a consistent smoke. I don't think I will order this brand again.

Top of my favorites list
This is a wonderful cigar. Full of flavor but mild enough to burn to the end. Burns even and cool and leaves a hint of sweet on your lips. I hate to tell CI this, but I can't believe the price!

Inconsistant Smoke
Although I like the taste of this cigar very much, I have found that it is inconsistant and so is the packing of the cigar. Sometimes the cigar is packed too tightly and it draws only with much greater effort than with other cigars from the same bunch.

Poorly Rolled
My order of Amati Churchill cigars were almost universally poorly rolled. They were rolled to tight for a large section of the cigar causing it to have a terrible draw and not burn properly.

Bad Cigar on the golf course or anywhere
I took a chance with these cigars ,but you only get what you pay for

No more
Other reviews say that this cigars too hard to draw. I feel the complete opposite. You look at it and you draw smoke through. I like a lil bit more effort to draw my cigar up. The taste is terrible. However it is a good looking cigar

Amarti Torpedo
I'm a Maduro guy so it hard for me to access. It was mild and a little hot at the end. Pulled pretty hard first half of smoke and got better the longer it burned. OK cigar for money and it being mild.

Good Smoke
One of my favorites for the price

Better options
Nice looking cigar but the enjoyment usually ended there. Most in my box were wrapped so tightly that they were nearly impossible to draw. The few that I was able to smoke were delicious. Too many rejects for this brand and too many other great options at CI to buy again.

Strange sour taste
Persistent sour taste to the cigar that makes the smoke unpleasant.

Superb Everyday Smoke
These have a unique natural and traditional cigar flavor. They are getting much better with age. I allowed the box I ordered to sit in my 72% humidor for about two weeks before I smoked one. Superb smoke unbelievable bargain. An inexpensive quality cigar.

Smooth and tasty
I don't know about these other guys but my stick was Delicious. Smooth and easy to smoke, very creamy mild woody slightly spicy. I punctured it instead of cutting it and it burned nice and easy. It ran a little in the first 1/4 but it leveled out and burned straight. Very easy and pleasant to inhale... I put it out half way because I wanted to save it for a later time as it was the only one I have. I will be ordering more of these that's for sure.

Amati toro
Only smoked one and was very happy with cigar. Burned very even which is important to me. Good taste and definitely worth the price!

Amati Robusto
Those that were good were an excellent value. However, about 20% drew like a cloths pin and were discarded.

Like a Rock
I have tried smoking 10 of these cigars and all 10 are rolled so tight that I can not get a draw. I could not get a puff off these cigars hardly at all. My recommendation to my smoking peers is to : DO NOT BUY THESE”

Unlike the sample I tested,
Unlike the sample I tested, the box I subsequently purchased contained cigars that were difficult to draw and hard to keep burning. Now I have to work through these before trying some Mark Twains.....one of which I tried and found to be just the opposite.

Free would be too expensive.
Let's not mince words. Tight draw, acrid flavor, horrible chemical smell, pops and hisses, won't stay lit. Maybe the worse stogie ever. Dear Jesus.

A good smoke. A Mild
A good smoke. A Mild smoke, it's constructed well so it burns evenly. It's priced right. It's my everyday favorite cigar, I burn one everyday.

Amati Robusto.
I bought these when they first came out, smoked one. 3 puffs and it hit the dust bin. Now after 5 months? Just as bad.

Got what I paid for!
Just tried a few so far and two out of four were too tightly packed, clogged. The flavor was just ok. But concidering the price I expected no more.

Amati Torpedo Cigar
I bought a box of Amati Torpedo and rested them in my secondary humidor at 68 RH for about a month and a half. I have tried smoking 3 of these cigars and all 3 are rolled so tight that I can not get a draw. I could not get a puff off these cigars hardly at all. My recommendation to my smoking peers is to : DO NOT BUY THESE

NEVER AGAIN
Tried two after they arrived. The first one was alright, not the greatest draw or burn. The second the draw was so bad that I threw it out. Rest are sitting in the humi, may try in a couple of months. But we all know you get what you pay for.

Its ok
I had these before and thought it was a good cigar. Second box not as good as the first

NEEDS A LOT OF RESTING TIME
For the price I was not expecting much, however I am always looking for an inexpensive smoke to age in my wineador. So I did a little experiment with these. I smoked one the day they came and it was awful (knew that was coming), then smoked one at the two week mark and it was better, not great. Im going to let them sit for 6 months or so now and see what happens. If you have the time, space, and patients, I would recommend them, if you do not, its not worth it.

terrible was going to return them, but was not worth the effort. taste bad, burned bad, what a bad cigar! garbage can got 12! trying to smoke them was not worth the effort.

not bad for the price
smoked one the first day I received them, they were rather harsh. But after three weeks in my humidor, they are mellowing out. Very peppery for a mild smoke. I'm gonna give them another month and then try another. Still not bad for the price.

Wrapper
This is the second time I purchased Amati and I'm very disappointed in the way they smoke. The draw is very hard and it goes out to often. The wrapper falls apart 1/2 way through. I will not purchase these again.

Great Smoke @ A Great Price
Bought 3 boxes due to the price. Should have purchased the Churchill as they burn a bit quick. However, for a long filler stick for the price, no regrets and I would for sure order again at that price. These are on the humidor shelf with the other everyday cigar that is good when fishing or cutting the lawn. A mild smoke but still has some good flavor.

Bad Finish
As others have said, this is indeed a mild smoke. Mine were well made with fine draw. The problem comes in the finish. If you enjoy 2/3s of your smoke and set it down, this may be a good economical smoke for you.

Taste and Mild
Say, Heah, incident I stole that from.Willie Mays, Yup he was the original Say, Hey Kid, I like it so I stole it heh heh heh. Anyhow several months ago , actually in May, I bought 6 boxes of the Torpedos (6 X 52) because of the price and the write up.I tried a couple and it was a very mild smoke, But I stacked other boxes of cigars on top of the Amati's, Well I finally got a couple of sticks out again, (Since May to Nov they just sat), But WoW what a difference, It's still a mild cigar, but very flavorable, so I bought another 4 boxes of Churchill this time, Yeah, Would I recommand them, A very nice tasting mild cigar, , ,

Amati Churchills
Having bought several boxes of Amati Churchills, I can say that they are a satisfying smoke at a good price. I am very happy to consider them my regular cigar, and I intend to continue to buy them as long as they are available.

IT SEEMED LIKE I HAD TWO DIFFERENT CIGARS IN ONE BOX. SOME HAD AN EXCELLENT DRAW WHILE OTHERS DREW LIKE A KINKED STRAW. OVERALL GOOD FLAVOR AND SMOKE.

Great cigar for price
looking for a good humidor filler that can still be smoked. This cigar definitely fits the bill.

Was not happy
I am sure that cigars international meant well with these, but every one the amati torpedos that I received was rolled so tight that the draw was not good at all. Has to cut off almost the thwhole torpdedo end to get any type of draw at all. Taste was very grassy and very dry with outer wrapper unrolling on almost all of them even after a week in the humidor.

Amati - the good, inexpensive cigar
The Amati cigars are inexpensive, but quite enjoyable. Their aroma is pleasing, they burn well, and the wrappers do not crack easily. Therefore, I can sit on the patio at night, read a good book, and enjoy a good cigar...

amti review
when i first smoked them i thought at first they where ok but as i got closer to finishing it they seemed to get stronger and left a harsh taste. i decided to let set in the humidor longer and that seemed to help. they seem to be a little inconsistent as each one smokes different and some leave a harsh taste.
