Alec Bradley Mundial

A global sensation.

Even though it took Alec Bradley almost five years to complete Mundial, it was well worth every hard-earned day. This blend hung out on the back burner for years, making way for hits such as Prensado, Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year in 2011. As for Mundial, the timing was never just right....Until now.

Make way for this incredibly special blend, featuring a careful mix of four distinct fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras with a generous amount of ligero and two binders – one Honduran, one Nicaraguan. The wrapper leaf is a thing of beauty, a stunner from the Trojes region of Honduras. Besides just the blend, the shape of this handmade is a real standout, with all sizes being rolled in the perfecto shape. All in all, Mundial is worth the wait, and it showed up right on time.

Alec Bradley Mundial has been awarded with an impressive 92-rating, noting: "Full of meaty, rich intonations, this cigar also imparts a pleasant minerality before a spicy, leathery finish. It’s well rolled with a pointed foot and dark wrapper."

A bit Dry
A little dry and harsh.

Another Great AB Cigar
Beautiful smooth, oily wrapper with a pre-light aroma of leather, woodsy and spice. Lights easily and burns evenly with a long mottled-grey ash. I thought it just as tasty but, not as strong as AB's Tempus series. I'll get more of these.

An amazing smoke
These are great cigars! I never regret grabbing one at the end of the day.

Where have these been hiding?!
How did this baby go under the radar?! Great smoke, rolled perfectly, burns smooth with a great flavor. I'd actually give this 4.5 stars. What a bargain.

Good smoke.
This was a good smoke with an easy draw. The only negative is it tends to burn unevenly.

Nice Drew and very nice taste.

Great cigar but a bit pricey!
What a great tasting cigar. Pricey for it's size but tastes great. A little tight draw, but burns good. Would buy again.

A Really Fine Stick
This is one of the finest sticks I have smoked in nearly 30 years of smoking cigars. Full-bodied yet velvety smooth, creamy -- you will want to smoke this one ALL the way down! I rate this a 99.

Solid construction, smooth start, spicy finish
Solid construction, smooth start, spicy finish. About a 40 min burn for me, but its cold outside & I was not giving it its fair time to burn :)

Never had an Alec Bradly I didn't like. The Mundial is no exception. One damn fine, satisfying stick.

Alec Bradley Mundial #8
Love this cigar. Very smooth and has a flavor I really enjoy. A little pricey for an everyday cigar, but I always have at least two boxes in my humidor.

Not bad, not great
Bought a five pack. 2 of the 5 somewhat unraveled. Fired them up after sitting in 65RH for two weeks. Theyre ok, not great. Not a flavor profile I'll have in my rotation. A rotation of padrons, melanios, mi amors, ligas, undercrowns......What was awesome was that i mistakenly fired up the wrong side and had to draw from the perfecto tip. It wasnt bad at all. Agaain, it was just ok

Mike
These are consistently the best cigars that I have had. There is never any variation in the quality. The draw is consistently smooth and gives a full mouth of smoke. The strength is perfect, midway between full bodied and middle. I can't believe it took me this many years to find this smoke.

Cigar of The Month
Got 2 of these. Normally, I prefer Mild or Mild-medium cigars. When these appeared in my cigar of the month shipment, I expected not to like them and I don't. Even though I let them set in my humidor for 3 days, much stronger than I prefer. They do smell nice and for a full cigar have a nice even burn, just not my cup of tea. Will be giving the other one of these to a friend that enjoys this strength of a cigar.

Great stick!
One of my favorite flavor profiles.

Great Smoke
This is my second order of this stick, and they are still in my top five rotation. This is a very full body smoke with some pepper notes and the draw is smooth as silk. I will order this again.

Mundial, Good, but somewhat mundane.
The EB Mundial is a good cigar. Mine have flawless construction and burned evenly with a bounty of smoke and a very appropriate draw. I do enjoy this very nice cigar. I prefer something a bit stronger but I know that some folks don't and prefer a more "gentle" cigar. I will likely buy more but it does not present the fuller richer flavor to be my too cigar. I certainly respect those who prefer a milder cigar and I would surely recommend this offering. It is probably an 85-88 in my estimation and as well done by AB!

Another great Bradley
This is a great cigar.. Full and smooth all the way down to the burnt fingers. A month in the humidor made them alot better than right off the truck.

PERFECT FULL BODIED
NOT A BIG FAN OF FULL BODIES, BUT MAN!! AS SOON AS I LIT THIS ONE IT WAS AMAZING! AB KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING WITH THIS.
Customer Testimonials
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt like this deserved one. I got one of these in a sample pack, and this is one of the best sticks I've ever smoked. Great taste, nice even burn, and a great draw with plenty of smoke.
I was very impressed with this cigar by AB. Although it is a little steep in price, the flavor did not disappoint. Good construction and tons of black pepper and leather. Finally a full body cigar by AB that passes the test. My favorite new AB cigar!
This cigar is hands-down one of the finest full-flavored cigars on the market. I ordered five perfectos and was pleased with every one. The stick is well made, and even though one developed a wrapper problem in the humi, it burned evenly and only gave up its ash twice. There are hints of vanilla, some tiny hints of leather, and even a slight, natural sweetness. Also some hints of natural fine coffee. This cigar is well worth the price and puts other cigars in its class to shame. If you haven't tried any other AB product, this is one that deserves a sampling. Even in the last inch, this cigar had no "bite." I'm thinking of ordering these to be shipped on a monthly basis. Well worth the 92 rating; possibly higher.
This is absolutely the best cigar I have ever smoked, and I've smoked many. This beauty was a delight from beginning to end. I'll pay the price to experience these on an ongoing basis. That's all I can say.
Let me first state that I am a novice when it comes to the world of cigars and don't have the vocabulary to describe what it is I taste. The cigar I smoked that got me first hooked was the AB Nica Puro and still today is my favorite cigar, and since have tried all of the AB offerings and most of them occupy space in my humidor now. The Nica Puro, Prensado and Tempest are my favorites. When first saw the Mundial had been released I purchased a 5 pack from CI. After sitting in my humidor for A few weeks I tried the first one last night. Simply stated it was the most enjoyable cigar I've smoked to date. Before I finished smoking I ordered another 5 pack. Then I went back a few hours later and ordered a box. The best way I can describe it is that it is in the Prensado/tempest family to my taste, although much bolder than a Prensado and a creamier finish than a Tempest. I would highly recommend trying this offering although after reading 3000 boxes were released last year and 4000 this year, maybe it's best for me to keep quiet.
Worth every penny!
Mundial: a bit expensive but a great cigar
