A Nicaraguan Symphony

After achieving the highest accolade in cigars with Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua in 2019, Rafael Nodal went back to work and four years later, we finally have the second iteration. Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata – A Nicaraguan Puro hand-crafted in the AJ Fernandez factory. 

Utilizing a stunning Nicaraguan wrapper and 100% blend of tobaccos grown on AJ Fernandez farms, the Sonata blend eases up on body and focuses on nuance and refinement. Good news! Sonata has earned a 93-point rating, noting: "Excellently constructed with graceful tapers and a nipple foot, this squarely-pressed Salomon has an excellent draw and burn. Relatively new to the cigar world. . . working through some recommended sticks. Really enjoyed the first of this line, found the Maestro to be equally well constructed with a great draw. Burned consistent and an enjoyable experience from start to finish without a really noticable change in flavor. A bit more "earthy" than its predecessor (to my palette) - flavor really grew on me the longer I smoked it. Have several left to return to, and am very much looking forward to going back to it. Would recommend.

Aging Room doesn't disappoint, and this new edition is quickly one of my new favorites. Mellow but bold, smooth and silky, lots of nots of biscuits, bread, baking chocolate, and toasted cedar. Smoked one of these to the nub, I wish I splurged on the box instead of the five-pack!

I prefer maduros cigars, I bought these per Cigar Aficionado recommendation. Big mistake. Aging Room maduro quattro Vibrato way better smoke.
