Aging Room Quattro F55

What was the highest non-Cuban cigar on the top 25 Best Cigars of the Year in 2013? Which cigar took home the number 2 spot? Oh, just Aging Room Quattro F55, a small-batch boutique handmade from skilled brand owner Rafael Nodal and Tabacalera La Palma cigar maker Jochi Blanco.

If you haven’t been introduced to Aging Room cigars yet, it’s high time you made their acquaintance. Made using very limited batches of tobacco leaves too small for regular production, these premium handmades are highly unique, highly in demand, and of course, highly limited in scope. Take Quattro F55. Sounds like a luxury sports vehicle, and perhaps rightfully so, because it performs like a dream. A flawless 2003 Sumatra wrapper leaf encircles a mix of Cuban-seed Dominican fillers and a Dominican binder. To finish, each is box-pressed and packaged perfectly.

Aging Room Quattro received an esteemed 95-rating and was named #2 Cigar of the Year in 2013, with the review noting, "a balanced, sophisticated cigar that displays rich notes of roasted coffee bean and sweet cedar."

The finest non-Davidoff cigar I have smoked, and much less expensive. The complex and aged blend is surreal with nuances of cocoa and cooking spices, so smooth, creamy and mellow. A delicious cigar by any measure.

I gotta say, these have become my favorite smoke hands down. I get mild leather, sweet cedar, and dark roasted coffee. The draw is effortless and smoke output is great. They are medium to slightly full bodied. They won't leave you spinning. Excellent cigar anytime of day. I would say for those wanting a kick your rear powerhouse, look elsewhere. It has body but is delicate. The aftertaste and aroma is absolutely intoxicating. Smells mature. Mine came aged well and ready to smoke. I gave them a week in the Humi and I'm a happy camper. Honestly, these cigars make me sad I have so many other sticks. I'd love to sell them all and load up on these.

Simply Okay, I'm not overwhelmed.
Simply Okay, I'm not overwhelmed. It may be slightly overrated based on the professional reviews.

First time for the F55
Bought them based on reviews...enjoyed the taste. Very delicate though, construction issue? maybe this is normal for them. Not sure I'd buy again at this price point, to many other options out there for less $$.

First Time Trying These
Well constructed with an fairly complex aroma. The flavor was not overpowering but enough to keep me intrigued and smokinging. This cigar burned evenly with no draw issues. I look forward to my next one and definitely recommend this cigar.

First Aging Room experience was a good one!
Got this in a sampler pack. Couldn't wait to let it age in my humidor as I smoked it right away. I loved the musty hay smell before lighting. The taste was really good but I was really surprised at how good the aroma was! I picked up hints of clove even. Can't wait to see how it tastes after two weeks in my humidor I just finished building!

Recommended by a friend, this smooth smoke definitely impressed me!
Customer Testimonials
Just got my box in a few hours ago. Got back to my place and had a look inside. The box itself is quite intelligent. The presentation is great in the cedar trays. I could see the age in them straight out of the box. The smell was very mellow and begging to smoked, so I felt I must oblige. The burn was was very even. The flavor was beautiful. I was expecting a bit more, but that by means is a down play of the flavors that came about. The draw was great as well as cool. The smoke produced was quite thick all the way through. I find that flavors are subjective to the individual so I will let you identify the underlying notes. This is definitely a cigar you should have in the humidor, and for the price this a power house, in my opinion. Get your hands on this guy now...You will NOT regret it.
Cigars International usually have some of the best prices... With that said, CA's rating is well deserved! Period, and end of story. Easily one of my favorites. The draw to me is good as I do not like a tight draw at all. I have smoked quite a few of Aging Room in various Vitolas and like them all. For me the cigar develops nicely with varying hints of tastes. Burn has always been spot on and construction very nice. This is no "yard gar." I have kept the F55 between 65-69 for humidity and it is not picky how it smokes. Yep I have a Concerto in my hand right now.. So should you!
Got 5 of these in a group buy deal...My buddies did good on this one. Really good flavor, easy draw, perfect burn. Ordered a box of my own for the humi!
Bought a couple (toro size) from my local B&M. They had a special buy one get one free. These seem to be hot right now, was surprised to see them on special like that. Anyway, construction was perfect, draw was a little lose for my liking but not too bad. What I liked: razor sharp burn, good flavor, strength was just about perfect. Didn't like: loose draw, flavor could be more complex, packaged bare no cello. Overall I'd say above average...
