The diesel has good flavor and draw. The MX2 has cocoa powder and earthy flavors. CAO has a decent draw and burned for 1 1/2 hours.

I really enjoy both of these cigars! Great combination. If you want a mid afternoon or evening Maduro the MX2 is great. Don’t let the dark wrapper fool you. It’s a solid medium bodied cigar. When you want that “cigar kick” smoke the diesel. The diesel is very strong but not insane.

As far as I'm concerned, this pair is the best value of all the Gentlemen's Deuce offerings. The MX2 is my favorite CAO, well made and suiting my palate perfectly, the Diesel never disappoints, having that great, packed full-of-good-tobacco feel in my hand to go with that thick blue Diesel smoke. Recommended.

3 stars only because the Diesel's are so tightly packed its difficult to smoke. Also when I use my needle to loosen and create an airway the tightness of the roll makes my needle Crack the outer leaf. CAO was great and smooth.

Not a fair rating because the CAO is a better smoke. Separated I would say CAO a 4 and this particular Diesel a lowly 2. The Diesel burned faster than a bottle rocket and was very soft like only half of the tobacco was used. So in the end this Diesel was outclassed.
