Decent cigars - nothing special or spectacular

5 Vegas has definitely upped their game over the past few years. 10 years ago they were a throw in in any deal, now they're good enough to stand on their own. Great draw, feel and flavor. This batch of Romeos was far superior in draw to the previous batch. Had to do much work with a paper clip on them to secure any sort of draw. As for the rest, the taste, feel and satisfaction turned out to be exactly why we purchase these beauties.

I really like these cigars. Definitely one of the better ones that I have been smoking. Like the taste nice and smooth, and the burn. I'm definitely going to keep some of these cigars on stock. I also love my 5 Vega humidor.

Excellent cigars for only about $3.50 a pop...how do you go wrong. I favour the Romeo, but the Vegas were very good as well. Always a fan of the torpedos. It should note that as a Canadian these cigars would be triple the price here if you can find them at all (taxes, taxes, taxes). Love CI and their selections and great prices...If only you would deliver to Canada ...I know ...taxes and duties would wreck it.

Vegas were great, however, the Romeo wrappers were a little loose and they canoed a bit. This introduced me to Vegas Classic which I will buy again.

Theses are two of my favorite medium-body cigars and in my opinion, in their best size.

1875s were not bad. Vegas classics kind bitter tasting. I bought them because I had to wait for my GrayCliff sampler. Greg Cliff never disappoints.

5 Vegas never drew well and fell apart

These two classic smokes are almost identical in flavor. Very pleasant aroma. Great value for the money!

Bothe the Romeo and the 5 Vegas are delightful, quality cigars. I prefer Romeo and they seem slightly better rolled. This combo is a real good deal that is hard to beat.

These cigars have been excellent for years. However, one of the 5 Vegas Classics was hard to draw and wouldn't stay lite unless you constantly puffed on it. Perhaps rolled a bit too tight.Haven't tried any of the others yet but hoping they are better.

Not much to say about these two brands that hasn't already been said.. If your a newbie, you have to try these. If your an old hat like me....you already know these have great flavor and are consistent burners !!!

Great combination! Obviously, the R&J are much more flavorful than the 5 Vegas but that has it's advantages. If you're having a nice coffee, the R&J. If you're going for a hoppy drink, the 5 Vegas. I enjoyed them both.

I would love to give this sampler a better rating because, on paper, it's a dynamic duo, but cigars from both offerings were a little dry and I had to put them in my humidor for a while before smoking them.

Some of the best bang for your buck sticks I’ve ever bought. All of them burned and smoked perfectly. Both brands medium body but still have a solid amount of flavor. Good for golf and sharing.

I would give this 5 stars but, I had some severe wrapper issues with the Romeo y Julieta. I keep all mine in my humidor from the time I receive them till I smoke them, obviously. Never had any of my cigars do what these did, had to throw away at least 3 before I could finish them. I don’t think it was anything I did not CI, just a cheap cigar. Will never but the Romeo 1875 again.

Both cigars are similar in their ability to deliver a nice medium body smoke. I usually keep the 5 Vegas in my rotation. The Romeo 1875 may have been the preferred of the two brands. A few more smoked and I'll knw for sure. But it's hard to beat the price of the 5 Vegas.

At almost any price both cigars were perfect. Of course you have to be smart enough to place them a quality humidor for a little while before smoking.

Romeo's were spot on and always good. 5V's were a bit strong for my taste. Overall always a great deal from CI

The 5 Vegas were as good as always. Which is very good, ie, 4.5 stars. However, the Romeos, while tasty, we're dried out and in every one, the wrapper was splitting and coming apart. Come on, CI. You can and should do better. Very disappointing

The 5 Vegas Classic are a great cigar, good smoke, draw, flavor and burn all that I hope to get in a medium flavored cigar. The RyJ has been a different story. Having enjoyed RyJ before I felt this was a good buy for the money however the first RyJ burned unevenly and started to unravel before I was half done. The second one wouldn't draw. I have since buried the RyJ in the bottom of my humidor hoping for better luck in a few months.

As usual, the Romeo y Julieta 1875/5 Vegas Classic, did not dissapoint me. Both smokes lived up to their reputation.

I let them sit in my humidor for a month or so. After that, they burned evenly and tasted great. I would buy them again any time.

These are my husbands favorite! He like the Churchills the best. So far he's enjoyed all the cigars I've got for him.

After sitting for a year I finally started lighting these guys up. I'm a fan of the 5 Vegas, so can't go wrong with the Classics ever. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the RyJ's were harden when I received them and I figured I could save them but 2 out of the 5 fell apart :( Still a good deal.

The R/J are great but ,lately,the 5Vegas quality has been inconsistent .Sometimes they are rolled to tight and the wrappers seem to be of lower quality than I've grown accustomed to
