The wisest men among you may recall Black Market – a medium-bodied masterpiece from Alan Rubin that was introduced way back at the 2011 IPCPR tradeshow. Well, ever since then I’ve been hearing nothing but praise for this fine specimen, and those same lads have been begging and pleading for more. Ask and ye shall receive, gentlemen! Adding to his vast portfolio of 90+ rated beauties, Monsieur Rubin has come to...shall we say...turn up the volume on this revered blend. I present to you: Black Market Vandal.

The components may look familiar – 4-country blend of long-fillers, stimulating Sumatra binder, and hearty Nicaraguan wrapper leaf. This is all carried over from the original version. But here’s where things get interesting: included in that long-filler mix is a super-charged, super-secret, extra special tobacco leaf that ratchets up the intensity big time. Tremendous notes of spice and pepper explode on the palate, and culminate in a long, lingering finish. If you loved Black Market, then you’re gonna worship Black Market Vandal.
