I'm kind of biased when it comes to Victor Sinclair cigars. The sampler is really good for the money. Very few inconsistent rolls and great flavor. The Connecticut Yankee is amazing. Giant billowing plumes of smoke with a Smokey and nutty finish

For me these were harsh

I've purchased several samplers to be able to have a variety of cigars to establish those for which I like before purchasing a box. As soon as these came in I tried all, one each day. Flavors on all start out very harsh, dry and for some I wpuld have to re-light until yiu get through the first 30 minutes, almost half of the stick. I've purchased VS before in shops and have had no complaints but for these I would say the tobacco on half seemed very dry. I allowed these sticls to sit in my humidor for a month with the same results. Even for all dour od the semections you recieve the sticks were harsh. The price of course I cannot complain and to give to friends or guests at a party or a gathering would, in my opinion, turn them off of cigars but then again giving them a My Fathers or a LaFlor and they dont finish them would also have me choking somebody! Flavors on these are definitely a leather, wood on all and yet they differ from mild to medium to the Triple Corojo closer to a full body. For future purchases this one unfortunately will not be on my list. I will keep these in my humidor and throughout the year try them to see if the harshness fades.

I am a fan of Victor Sinclair cigars for my golf smokes. This was a very good deal. A great opportunity to try cigars I would not otherwise have tried. I especially enjoyed the Connecticut Yankee and the Triple Corojo; nice flavor profile, good construction, no burn or draw issues. Good price as well.

A cigar fit for people you hate

If you idea of a relaxing evening is lighting up a cigar with so-so flavor and an unpleasant aftertaste; wickedly uneven burns; making several (and I DO mean "several") burn corrections per stick, regardless of which you are smoking; and refilling your lighter often; look no further than Victor Sinclair!

This is an OK smoke, nothing special. Burns uneven, doesn't stay lit, must continuously relight every 3-4 minutes. Not the best every day cigar I have had.

Not sure what they were trying to create in terms of flavor. Nothing I can recognize and nothing I like. They burn just fine, but...I just don't understand what the flavors are...and I ran a high-end cigar store for several years, so my palate is pretty experienced. Good price if you like them.

I keep these in the humidor for large gatherings when you know people are only going to take a few puffs and forget about it. The last couple I had burned and drew nicely, but the flavors were harsh. I've smoked 2 of each of these in the sampler, and all of them are very one dimensional and harsh. I'll continue to age to see if they will mellow overtime, after 12 months in the humidor they are getting better.
