Puro Cubano. Tobacco done right.
If you’ve smoked a lot of Cuban cigars over the years, chances are you’ve sampled some of Hamlet Peredes work. For many years this man was known as one of Cuba’s finest cigar rollers, capable of crafting any size free hand. In2015, he went to Honduras and joined The Rocky Patel team where he now makes cigars and blends for the Rocky Patel brand and the American market. Today I’m highlighting one of his creations – the Puro Cubano by Hamlet. I’ve got 6.0”x52 Torpedo boxes of 20 at 50% OFF + FREE Shipping!
The blend uses some tobaccos typically associated with a full-bodied profile but blended here creates a smooth medium-bodied performance. A beautiful Ecuador Habano wrapper covers Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder and long-fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. Construction is flawless, with effortless draws and a razor-sharp burn. Flavors of natural sweetness, slight creamy notes, and a toasty finish meld together beautifully in a cigar that could only have been crafted by a true master of tobacco.
