Cuckoo for Cusano!

A Davidoff-made closeout, starting at just $1.05 per cigar. It doesn’t get much better than this, lads. While supplies last, I’m blowing the smithereens out of Cusano, landing bundles of 16 at your doorstep for as little as $16.78. Plus, you’ve got three different wrappers to choose from. Dig in!

For those unfamiliar with the Cusano name, this value-driven brand from Davidoff was their attempt to create an everyday blend worth celebrating… and they succeeded! The only problem? Their tea-and-crumpet enjoying, caviar slurping clientele wouldn’t take the bait. It didn’t matter if the cigars were good or not, if they weren’t marked up to $30 a stick, that crowd wasn’t interested. For guys like you and me, though, that are able to look past inflated MSRPs and evaluate what a cigar is really worth, Cusano takes the cake. I’ll sum it up this way: this isn’t some fancy craft beer that you have to wait in line for hours to try… but an ice cold 30-rack on a Friday night has always tasted better to me anyway.

Choose from Maduro, Connecticut, and Nicaragua (Sumatra) and stock up for the rest of summer. For a limited time, Cusano bundles are up to 49% off.

great deal
delicious blend of tobacco with a well rolled stick. has a hearty taste of coffee, and a slight sweet chocolate. smooth smoke with no bite but a medium strength. my usual smokes are romeo et juliet and punch and these are a perfect alternate at a cheaper price.

I found this cigar to be a tasty morsel. started off smooth and remained to the end. It is one of those cigars I would classify as a good everyday cigar.

Tasty but...
Very tasty although it seems to be put together from scraps of tobacco. No matter how you cut, punch or slice into the cap you end up spitting out bits and pieces while trying to enjoy the nice flavor

Really nice budget cigars.
I’ve long enjoyed the Cusano M-1 Connecticut as a mild smoke in the evenings when I didn’t want a stronger cigar to keep me up so I thought I would try these Nicaraguans and was pleasantly surprised. Nice light medium bodied smoke. Great value.

Expected much more from Cusano. Just fell apart even after days in humidor

Not so great they don't burn evenly and they drop ash all the time as in they flake off. The taste is ok though. I just don't like having to relight uneven burns

I have smoked only 2. Both have been hard to draw on and seem to have coarse filler. I expected better. Perhaps I will find the rest of the bundle to be better

Tasty
an affordable, tasty cigar. My only complaint is that about 50% of them are rolled quite tightly, and draw is almost impossible , unless you open them up a bit with a draw rod. But , overall a good cigar !

Weird Cigar
I have been smoking cigars for over 50 years. Before my retirement, I smoked only Cubans. This is the first cigar that I ever had that was better the second day than when I first lit it up. It has a tendency to burn uneven. It is a quick smoke. I truly expected more from a Davidoff product.

Disappointing Cigar
This used to be my favorite bundle cigar. Then Davidoff bought Cusano and began the long slow slide to irrelevance. First they forgot to make them, so for years we could only get the P1 occasionally. Now it seams that they’ve brought them back to market with a new label and amateur rollers. I sampled the P1 and N1 and both were very poorly rolled every cigar in two bundles canoed badly. They were also so loosely rolled that a 6 x 60 smoked for less then an hour. Save your memories - pass on this cigar.

Nice, mild cigar.
I've ordered these a few times and they are a great buy. Good flavor, cedar tones and nice in the evening when I want a milder cigar. Great value!

Sleeper Cell; What a surprise!
This are awesome cigars. I was pleasantly surprised as one of my favorite cigars is the RP vintage 1990 and the RP The Edge Maduro. These are a close second. You will not be disappointed. They taste great and they burn very even. What a bargain. Try them!

Solid, but wouldn't purchase again
Not bad for the price, but wouldn't buy them again. Easy draw and certainly the solid taste of a handmade cigar, but the flavor is thin and reminiscent of some machined cigars. Smell of the smoke isn't bad but thin and without much aroma.

Decent Cigar at a Great Price
The Cusano Nicaragua burns cool with an ample amount of smoke. It isn't very complex. The flavor profile is dominated by earthiness with a little leather, and hints of cashews and white pepper. The price makes this a good value for an everyday cigar.

not the best I've had
So far each cigar burns unevenly. Not rolled very tight. Taste is very good but the uneven burn causes less enjoyment and an early quit.

So far so good
Just fired up the first one of these guys, and so far so good. Nice burn, draw and flavor. I like the volume of smoke and seems to be well constructed since there was no canoeing in the the first one. I smoke 'em on the golf course and since the weather has turned here in Cincinnati, these babies will mellow in the humie for a few months. I'm sure they will be even better by spring.
3 out of 5
Starts off good, but loses it midway in to the burn
I's rate it maybe 3 1/2 ...? Decent cigar, starts off well !!! but it gets a little disappointing about half way through, the flavor, I thinks starts to drop off midway through the flavor becomes a little harsh.

So far not good
Out of my first 4, I've had two that burned half-way then started burning mid-way through the remainder with a surprise finger burn each time. The other two burned unevenly then the wrapper started to unravel half-way through. They all tasted really good before self-destructing. In this case - at least for me - you get what you pay for. I`'ll keep my fingers crossed for the remainder of my order (16). But next time I'm going with the better known brands.

Surprising stick for the price.
Looks - Going by appearances it probably wouldn't stop me if i was walking past them. Wrapper - It is wrapped ok. I've found a few where the cap will unravel a bit while smoking even with a minimal cut. Taste - It has a smooth consistent taste throughout Burn - Burns Great tight light colored ash that holds for an inch and a half easy. Overall worth the money i would buy them again

Very disappointed. Not well constructed and has an uneven burn - If you can keep it lit! It's a mild cigar that tastes ok, but there are so many far better cigars for the same or lower price.

Good Flavor, Poor Construction
Good Flavor, but poor construction. Had issues with tunneling and canoeing on all of them. Some of them were very soft too. A good cigar for mowing the lawn, but I wouldn't want to give them to a friend. I should have know by the cost that there would be issues. you get what you pay for.

So so
Taste fine but wrapped horribly. So far 4/5 have cracked up too and make smoking them a burden..
3 out of 5
Poor Quality
Decent smoke for the money but the quality is poor. Very uneven burn. The cap is so small that when cutting the cigar the entire cap is often removed resulting in some unraveling of the wrapper.

Why CI ?
I have tried many sources for my modest supply in R & J Bully cigars and have found out that CI is the most consistent, efficient and reliable source. Even though my consumption is not huge, they always treat me like I am IT. Thank you CI. You're the best.

Cussano cigars
I bought these cigars as I thought they were a good deal but I was wrong couldn’t wait to smoke the last one.The cigar leafs were cracking & peeling & the inside of the cigar kept coming apart at the tip & was mushy.Won’t buy these again.S waste of money. You get what you pay for.

great smooth smoke
An excellent smoke for those who avoid tobacco's harsh bite. No worries - the Cusano M1 exceeds expectations and fits the bill for the casual smoke on the go.

Several of the sticks were either too loosely rolled or too firm. Most were good.

Not very well made and some are very scruffy looking. Does not like to stay lit, either. Taste is so-so. Will not order again.

a total waste of money
The wrapper disintegrates when you touch the cigar. It was dry, burned unevenly and the filler was so loosely packed. A total waste. Tried 3 cigars all with the same results. Through the rest in the garbage.

Worst cigar ever
As I smoked the first couple of cigars, I kept getting stems and wood poke thru the wrapper; so I cut one open. No surprise that an estimated 25% of the filler was, in fact, stems and small chunks of wood. I took pictures and sent to CI. Additionally, the ones I did smoke lacked enough density to stay lit so I never could get a sense of the advertised taste. Don’t waste your money on this loser.

Good taste, flavor is about as advertised. Does not burn evenly and wrapper tends to feel off halfway through the smoke. For the price, I'd probably buy it again, but I wouldn't pay any more for it than the sale price.

Filler thriller
Was disappointed with this particular purchase. I felt like I was chewing tobacco after cutting the end off. Cigar would become extremely limp during smoking and was just lacking in the quality I've had before from this particular brand.

Not heavy in the hand, but heavy on flavor
So this cigar I took a chance on, I am usually a faithful diesel or dark maduro smoker, however it is getting cold outside and I dont want to waste them, so I bought the cusano in a smaller size, the construction is a little light in the hand, but it burns well, it starts off subtle, then notes of oak and black pepper towards aproaching the center, and the finish is magnificant, hot pepper, toast and oak, for the mellow start I was suprised how it ended. I would reccomend this cigar for fans of not too bold, but like a little spice, it will not disappoint!

A different low-cost Maduro.
ROTT 9/16/2017 Robusto size. This is an interesting "mixed stogie". I enjoyed it, so start from there. Let's get down to specifics Burn was a little uneven, but it was ROTT and have had others much worse. Did not have to relight. Ash was fair, and only a small bit of flaking. Construction: Overall fine with small veins and easy draw. The cap and end were a bit weak and loose though. Some pieces came out in the mouth. This may be an anomaly that sometimes happens with hand rolled cigars. Smoke was "normal" with a bit of a "tortilla" fragrance rather than leather or toast. Taste: This is the interesting part. Though a maduro, it was not overly chocolate/leather. These were much more toned down. It allowed the tobacco flavor to mix in more, giving it a more "rounded" flavor in my opinion. Overall: This will make rotation into my humidor. While not a top shelf cigar by any means, price and interesting taste may suit the discerning palate. Definitely a sitting cigar, not a working one (if the looseness on the cap continues.

Very disappointing. Poor construction, dried out and flaky. Have enjoyed some excellent Cusano cigars but this one is a loser.

Poor Construction
Flavor not bad but construction was sub-par
3 out of 5
Taste good, not quality construction.
These are good tasting cigars. Nice flavor, good smoke volume. I would call them strong side of medium flavor. My problem with them is the construction even if they do taste good. In the bundle I got, they construction is all over the place. Some are loose all over, some half loose and none are the nice firm consistent construction you hope for. The burn is not consistent due to the construction. I probably won't buy these again unless they get real cheap. The good flavor doesn't outweigh the quality of the build.
