Great flavor, however the heavy draw required on the cigars can make them less attractive option for me than others in the category. I have enjoyed them on the course and shared with friends. Mostly favorable results!

I was disappointed is the effort required to get a “comfortable draw” the cigars burn was really good throughout but lacked the quantity of smoke I’d normally expect. 1st and 2nd 3rd’s hand pleasant taste without any standout flavors.. the 3rd, 3rd had a very leather/peppery taste that just wasn’t enjoyable to me. I’m hoping this cigar improves with age.

Strange notes on light up but a fine stick throughout. The box is pretty "new-age" and doesn't have the old school traditional label, which is part of the reason why I buy sticks by the box. Still a good relaxing smoke.

These cigars are very good. I would give 4.5 stars if I could due to tight draw. All the ones I’ve smoked have needed to be rolled or rodded to improve flow. Taste and quality is excellent, though. Don’t regret buying especially at a discount.

This maduro was rated a 93 by Cigar Aficionado Magazine. A habano wrapper, and a Sumatra binder mix nicely with the ligero filler, for a strong, balanced smoke with hints of nuttiness and sweetness. I didn't know these were still around after the Archetype company disappeared. Their entire line of blends are awesome. The packaging, labels and mystical quotes on the bands only added to their mystique. A must try.

One of the most underrated cigars Drew Estate had a hand in producing. It’s an incredibly complex stick the favors change thru the burn. It’s tragic that Archetype production ended so many years ago. I buy as many as I can afford when they become available. The Archetype Ventura in the blue box is even harder to find and is an exceptional to smoke as well. I don’t understand why Drew Estate drops the projects that they do. I hope that you have many more pallets of the Axis Mundi in your warehouse, it will be a real shame when they are finally sold out FOREVER :(

I bought it while it's on sale. Had really good reviews online. I have zero complaints about it. I'm actually good method to buy it regular full price. Highly recommended. Great construction. Good draw, great smoke output and wonderful flavor. When I smoke it I get a lot of coffee flavor out of it

The character is accurate but inconsistent. Very complex. Sweet notes with a spice. Nicotine level was a bit high for me, which tends to make it unbearable. Burn can be uneven and needed to be re-lit constantly. Not in my to 10 but not in the worst 10.

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I went off the description and trusted it as CI hasn't steered me wrong yet. Holy Cow. I like this one. Good burn, initial note was a little raisiney, but it smoothed out to a good medium full stick. Definitely one of my favorites now. To top it off, I squeezed in on the deal. No complaints at all, except from the little lady who thinks my hobbies are expensive.

High Hope's, mediocre realizations. Flavors are good but construction and burn are, well, poor. Better sticks to be had at this price point, which is a shame because I wanted to love this cigar.

I had been wanting to try these for a while so when they finally came back in stock I jumped at the chance. Everything about this cigar is exquisite; the direct draw, the way all the flavors dance around your taste buds, the white clouds of smoke engulfing your surroundings, and the consistent burn. The most noticeable part was the cigar ash. It never wanted to leave the cigar... almost as if it were taunting gravity to try and separate them. Hands down my new favorite cigar.
