Guess I got what I paid for
This was my first experience with the Villiger brand. I wish I could say better things about these cigars but I've been pretty disappointed with more than half of the bundle. The few that burned well were not bad. Hints of pepper throughout & fairly balanced flavors, mostly smooth from start to finish. But 3 in 5 burned so inconsistently that I cannot describe it. I'd light it, take a few draws, and without warning there would be an out of control run an inch long or more down one side. Or it would tunnel, suddenly burning through the wrapper halfway down the stick. The precious few I've been able to salvage (sort of) inexplicably stopped burning less than halfway through the cigar. Even letting them age for 3+ weeks at a steady 70% relative humidity has not improved the quality. So far, 7 of the 12 I have tried have wound up in the trash. I bought these on a deal and, unfortunately, I came out on the short end of the stick this time.

Fair and below Cigar
Strangely didn't care for this as much as the regular version of it. It had a cheap feel about, light and springy. I mean, I would smoke it if someone gave it to me but would not really buy unless it was 50 cents each or something. Then again I may not.

Okay Smoke
These cigars are okay yard work cigars. The blend is decent, the burn is good, but the filler is annoying short filler that gets in your mouth when you smoke. Overall this isn't a bad cigar to smoke while working in the yard.

Great value. Impressed with the
Great value. Impressed with the consistent quality normally not found in a smoke at this price point. My favorite everyday cigar.

Another one hit out of the ball park by C. I. GREAT BUY.

Nice sticks for the price
Thought they would be a bit stronger with the "Bold" in the name but they had an even draw and a smooth flavor. I was very pleased.

Not bad
Good Golf Cigar, very mild, very little after taste. Was a little hard to stay lit.

Quite the stick for a great price!
Villager Bold Toro Habano Awesome construction, nice flavor. I would share these with "buds" if I weren't so cheap.

Dano
Very enjoyable cigar nice and smooth, and burn even and well.

bland
A fairly bland cigar and one I use as a "yard stick" meaning a cigar that I smoke when cutting the grass and other outside menial labor, something that when dropped (horrors!) will not upset me.

Great value!
I bought a bundle of these a while back and have let them sit in my humidor for a while. The first one I smoked (before letting them "rest") had some off flavors.. Not any more! Great value and a very decent everyday smoke. Construction is good and the burn is even. Can't beat it for the price! Thanks CI!

Nice smoke
Great cigar for the price point. I smoke them on the golf course and they stay lit with a nice even burn. Good medium flavor. I will definitely purchase again.

Good cigar
This cigar was a great smoke. The cigar burned well, with plenty of aroma. I liked the way the cigar tasted right off the bat and got more intense along the way. Pepper and leather were through the smoke. I would order more.

Not a Bad Everyday Smoke
About 10% are woody, rolled too tight and won't draw...otherwise a great smoke for the buck$.

Villiger Bold is a winner...
The Villiger Bold Churchill is exactly that: Bold. Full Bodied, Well Made and, not to be forgotten--Reasonably Priced...

Under exceeded
The wrapper is Top notch I thought the cigar would have a bit more body and favor going on. More mild than medium.

Villiger Bold
Great smoke for the price. This would be an everyday cigar.

Great taste, greater value
I can't wax eloquent with analogies to leather, woods, spices, etc. I just know it delivers a taste commensurate with the name. I'm not a snob for construction or boxing. In fact, I rarely have burn issues with a 'sandwhich' fill cigar. I can't say that for long-fillers. I like hearty Nicaraguan blends, and the Bold is a great value that you probably will not regret trying.

Villiger Bold Robusto
Excellent cigar for the money. Even draw, subtle flavor. Flavorful with out being strong or over powering.

Great Value
Great for the price. Not really a BOLD, but a decent smoke. After keeping them in a humidor for a couple of weeks I appreciated the value. A nice 40 minute burn.

Trashman
Good cigar for the money. Sometimes it has draw issues, but keeps a good taste throughout the smoke. Great to chew on and keep in the pocket for later. Not bad.

Toros are terrific
I received my order of Villiger Bold Toros. They were just as good as the Robustos, only they last longer. They have very balanced natural flavor of spice and pepper.

Trashman
Good cigar for the price. Medium smoke. Had to leave my latest batch in the humidor due to being too fresh and not burning properly. It was lit several times to continue the draw. Not bad for the money.

Villiger Bold Toro
My new everyday dog walking smoke. GREAT PRICE, taste and smoke like a five dollar cigar. I have been buying cigars from CI for ten years and this is absolutely the best buy I have ever come across. Every Villiger Bold Toro I have smoked out of my order so far has burned great, drawn perfect and feels well made in your hand. They finish well too!!!!

Decent cheap smoke
Well worth the price if you don't mind cheap smokes.

Villiger Bold Robusto
A continual mild/medium smoke. Tight wrap makes for a decent ash. Taste is constant and pleasant. Good value smoke.

Great daily smoke
Great cigar for the price. One of the best daily smokes I have had. I will buy more of these. Keep the humi full of these. Medium strength but keeps a smooth flavor all the way through.

Not worth it
I have received a bundle of 20 and am very disappointed with this cigar. I have cut 3 in a row and couldn't get a draw. It was so heavily packed with large stems at the end. Finally the last one gave in a little and I was able to get few puffs. It had ok aroma, but no flavor I would enjoy. Stay with premium sticks, not these second-short filler offerings.

Customer Testimonials
Could not believe the price on this one. Burns and draws well, clouds of smoke, great flavor, and enough "kick" to keep you interested. I am ordering another bundle today!
Pretty solid cigar. You can't beat the price. This is not a sit down read, relax and smoke type of cigar. However when you have friends over and wanna hand a cigar over or maybe in a time crunch this is the perfect cigar. I reccomend keeping a bundle on hand for the just in case moments.
First one right off the truck was pretty bad and I thought I was out of the $20 bucks spent. Let mine sit in the humidor for a hand full of weeks pulled one out the other day an boy. It was a darn tasty smoke nice volume of smoke (I wouldn't say full bodied) great taste and a pretty good ash and burn. For the price they are a great smoke and will not disappoint but only if you let them rest and age a little bit!
I have smoked these before and I remember it being a much smoother full-bodied smoke. These seemed like they could use some time in your humidor before smoking them. I would buy them again. The price was right.
I just got my Villiger Bold bundle in. I tried one last night and it was a very smooth smoke. I really liked it.
Sending them to 68W Medics @ Schofield Barracks, Hi. I want to say "Thanks" for all they do, without them many troops would not get home. Thanks fellas and enjoy!
Great cigar for the price! I like to relax and unwind with a cigar after a long day's work, so I'm always on the lookout for some enjoyable yet budget-priced sticks. These fit the bill. I bought a mazo of the robusto size. Great medium flavor with a pretty even burn and nice draw (maybe a little loose at times but not bad). The description is pretty spot-on about the flavor profile. Nutty, earthy, with a bit of spice. These are great knockaround smokes that also hold their own in civilized company. Thanks CI for these awesome everyday cigars!
Great morning smoke with a cup of coffee . Hints of coffee and pepper finish. Wasn't big on these at first , but after they mellowed in the humidor a few days . Much better . Nice even burn for a buck a stick .
This is a great value for the price. It is a nicely constructed cigar that burns well to the nub. It has good taste, nothing to knock your socks off, but I would recommend this stick for an everyday/dog walking smoke.
$20 for 20 Churchill cigars with a 50 ring? I assumed they would do the trick for a bunch of guys for a pool tournament but I didn't expect to enjoy them as much as I did. No one believed that they were only $1 a piece. Think I will buy another bundle, throw them in the humidor for awhile and see what their full potential can be... If I don't smoke them all before they have a chance.
These are great everyday cigars
Got the robusto size. Wanted a quick cigar to have on way home from work. These are fine for that. Like all short filler cigars dont cut them too deep. Just nip the end abit. Great for sitting in traffic listening to sports talk radio station, yard work, fishing etc.
