When my little 40 cigar humidor started not being able to keep up with all the good deals from CI my wife was actually the first one to say "well just get another humidor. I'm sure CI has some good deals on them", to which my response was "no, that's okay. I'll just use ziploc bags". I then followed up a short time later by showing her CI's selection of medium sized humidors and asking "which one do you like?" She chose the Renaissance humidor and said that it had a 'junk gypsy' look that would go with our motif. "Sure thing honey, whatever you say!" SOLD!
As for the humidor itself I admit it was actually a little bigger than I expected but I'm okay with that, now I can take more advantage of the crazy good CI deals! It seasoned well and seems to be well constructed. All in all it will serve my purposes for years to come. And since my wife picked it I'm free from any conversations that start with "you need to find somewhere else to put that". Win win!

Great looking humidor, decent quality. Would recommend for the sale price for sure.

I actually really like this humidor. It looks great and the cedar lining is top notch. The included humidifier is kinda crap, but I use the Humi-Care jars to humidify and so far they're great. As with anything you get what you pay for, but for the price of this one it's a good value. Unlike the first reviewer my locking mechanism does work when the latches are closed, so I'm sure there are some inconsistencies given these are made in China. I'm very happy with it so far and would recommend it to anyone considering a good entry-level humidor. I got this on sale for $179 and it is a great buy at that price point. For $300 it's probably not worth it, but for the lower price it most definitely is.
