Sir Robert Peel

By Protocol

Description

The original boy in blue.

Scotland Yard, 1829. Gas lanterns, top-hats, manly mustaches, and most importantly, the constant smell of cigars wafting through the air along with the mystery and intrigue. Sir Robert Peel founded this impressive organization as the world’s first established police force, and set many of the standards for policing still in use today. As a cigar brand founded by two police officers, there’s no better brand to honor Peel’s legacy in cigar form than Protocol. And they knew a man as great as Peel deserves a great cigar.

Crafted at the La Zona factory in Esteli, the Protocol Sir Robert Peel comes in one 6”x52 box-pressed toro size in your choice of wrapper: a gorgeous Ecuador Rosado, or thick & oily Pennsylvania broadleaf Maduro. Both utilize a Nicaraguan long-filler blend beneath a Nicaraguan binder, producing medium-full bodied notes of leather and spice, with toast, cedar, and leather from the Rosado wrapper, and cocoa and earth from the Maduro. Whichever wrapper you go with, you’re in for a delicious cigar from a company quickly making a name for themselves. Light one up today and tip your hat to the father of modern-day policing.
