Kristoff Galerones DR4

Taste the creamy goodness!

This ain’t no riddle, it’s simply the mildest and creamiest of Kristoff’s Galerones series, and it happens to be named DR4 for the quadruple mix of Cuban-seed Dominican long-fillers at play. Besides this exciting four-way filler combo, you’ll also enjoy a Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and an Ecuadorian wrapper leaf. It’s chock full of rich, intense flavors including cedar, honey, and almonds, but still retains that aforementioned mild character, making it an ideal choice for anyone from the novice to the advanced cigar seeker. In other words, there’s really no hope of going home disappointed with this captivating mix.

For a limited time, enjoy Free Shipping on all boxes of 20+ cigars and all 5-packs. Also, each 20ct+ box purchase will receive a set of 2 Kristoff branded Rocks Glasses for FREE. Offer ends December 12th @ 11:59pm.

It's true! This cigar is a winner!... It fits the description and looks lovely enough to eat. Crazy name but great cigar, indeed. Not bad on the pocket either. Great cigars in the Kristoff line up. Another favorite is the Kristania, wow! It is an excellent cigar also.
While browsing the walk-in at my favorite local tobacconists and talking with one of the staff, I mentioned I was looking to try something in the mild to medium range with a Connecticut wrapper and asked if he had any suggestions. He pointed me to this stick (Kristoff DR4). When I went to pay for my purchases, the other staff member at the register commented on it, saying it was his favorite Connie. After a week in the humi, curiosity finally got the better of me and I had to give it a try. If you gave me 100 cigars and asked me to rate them, 1-100, I wouldn't be able to do it. I'm more the type who would have 1-3 that were the cream of the crop(10), maybe 3-5 that were very good (9), maybe 5 more that were also very good but not like the very best (8), a good 10 or so that are good enough I'd buy them again (7), and then on down from there. I'd put this at a solid 7, maybe pushing an 8 depending on the competition. The construction was good. After a toast, light, cut, and purge, the first puff was exactly what I expected - mild, lots of smoke, and no bite. As it burned, I developed a cream-flavored mouth feel that stayed through-out the smoke. I would say it was pleasant, without being overly memorable. The draw remained consistently easy. After about 1-1/2" of ash built up I finally decided it was time to tap it off. I didn't notice a significant change in flavor or experience past the middle towards the end. Overall, it was a good experience and what I'd expect for the price. It was better than your run-of-the-mill mild making it something I plan on adding to my collection to let age a bit longer and try again.
