Camacho Corojo is an enchanting cigar. Everything about it is a representation of fine cigar making at its very best, from the appearance and aroma to the flavor and construction. The dark chestnut-hued wrapper is smooth and toothy, with a few prominent veins shining through, accentuating the power that lies beneath. The aroma is intoxicating, peppery hints of sweet cedar, a sign of optimum box-aging. Flavor-wise, there's nothing quite like it north of Miami: robust, earthy hints backed by a heady, peppery aftertaste, delivered with assertive, full-bodied charisma. And of course, the burn. Even, slow and cool, leaving a solid, salt and pepper ash behind that needs to be helped off the tip of the cigar. Every time I pull one of these Honduran beauties out of the humidor, I know exactly what's in store: a relaxing, full-bodied smoke filled with deep, robust flavors and a familiar Cuban flair. Other than the strength (which may not be for everyone), I having nothing but good things to say about this cigar. If you enjoy full-flavored and full-bodied, get on this horse right away.
