Espinosa Proxy No. 24 Torpedo

While Erik Espinosa may not quite be a household name just yet, mark my words that he will be....and soon. He’s the same mad genius behind some blends you know and love such as Cubao, 601, Murcielago, La Bomba, and a host of others. His premier release, Espinosa Habano, took home a well-deserved 90-point rating and solidified his status as a true force to be reckoned with. Now he’s back again with a brand new beat.

Draped in a sleek and blemish-free Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Espinosa Proxy No. 24 wastes no time getting down to business. A peek under the covers reveals a Nicaraguan binder and a bountiful blend of carefully selected Nicaraguan Criollo long-fillers. Enliven your senses with distinctive notes of spice, earth, sweet cedar and a slight hint of pepper. In terms of top-notch boutique handmades, this offering has everything you could ever want and more.

I usually smoke fuller flavored cigars, especially on the spicy, peppery side. The Espinosa Proxy is a milder cigar. It was, however, a nice break from the heavier flavored stogies I like, yet I probably would not buy these again. Unless they go on sale, then maybe. But if you like milder cigars, then you may enjoy this...
Got these as an add on for free shipping. Wasn't sure if I should expect much from these or not. But they sounded pretty good from the descriptions. first one I tried was good, but not out of this world. Then after a few weeks, while looking thru my humidors. I decided to try again. And what an improvement!!! Now trying to be patient, and see what a few months may bring out of these. Probably will order more....
A good cigar at a good price. While I wouldn't call it mild, I would thing any category of smoker (mild to full) would find something they like about it. Strongly suggest some time in the humidor.
