Gurkha Widow Maker Maduro Churchill

Few boutique brands carry the all-around gravitas as Gurkha. Actually, few brands even come close. Known for exceedingly flavorful, high quality handmades crafted from the world's rarest, oldest tobaccos, the Gurkha name represents prestige and luxury. Centurian, Beauty, Beast, Titan, Crest, Triad....Gurkha's list of fine achievements is long and distinguished. Add Widow Maker to the list, because this rare specimen is ready for the masses.

The medium to full-bodied Widow Maker is all substance. Available in two formats - Ecuador Connecticut and Connecticut Broadleaf - this ultra-premium is made entirely of extensively aged tobaccos. Rare, vintage tobaccos sorted countless times to obtain only the finest, highest quality leaves. Both varieties are bold and complex, offering soothing layers of robust, satisfying flavors delivered in a methodical, expertly balanced fashion only true vintage tobaccos can provide. Expectations will no doubt be high due to the price point....but a cigar of this caliber has the ability to meet, and also exceed, these expectations.

I received a five pack included in a Gurkha sampler. Not worth the $50 quoted MSRP, but worth $15 to $20 in your local smoke smoke shop. Construction was good, along with an even burn. Very good cigar.

Damn these things are big! Make sure you pack a lunch. Because it's gonna take a while to finish one of these.... a good cigar overall.

I like these widow maker.

This tasty smokey treat is exactly what it is. It is a nice, clean smoke that paired well with my Gorgonzola and Pancetta Lamb Burger. It was also a nice pair with the brown ale I was drinking with this cigar. The chewy finish just won me over.

$50 stick, it is not, but it is a very well constructed, medium to full bodied smoke. I wouldn't be waving my wallet and shouting "Shut up and take my money!" to anyone selling them for more than a few bucks a stick. They strike me as a little bland, though they smoke wonderfully. I am going to toss a couple into cold storage and see if a year in cedar does them any good.

Delicious. Perfect. Dark. Rich. Highly recommend.
SG of Marshfield, MA
As the others have said before me, $50 not likely, but none the less, a very nice smoke.... no problem with unraveling like I have had with other Gurkha's. I'm very happy with the taste and the burn. May be 15 bucks a stick, but I have to say it was very nice and a long smoke....
