This is one of the best combo deals around. Both Cigars offerings are superb. Great taste. I bought this combo initially for the Macanudos...but after trying the Virtues...I am back for more of these. They are awesome.
I have smoked many cigars over the years, but I have just started smoking regularly since being deployed, maybe one cigar per week. I finished this batch a few days ago. The Macanudo is a really good cigar; smooth with a nice draw. The MOW is similar, except its draw is an easier one and has tons of white smoke. Both of these smokes are great smokes for almost any occasion, except maybe big occasions like winning the lottery or making that huge sale. Then you might want to go upscale. But this is a decent sampler for anyone. I will purchase the Macanudo Hyde Park in the future, but I probably won't buy the MOW Virtue because it is a pricey cigar, and I don't think it's worth the price (except in this sampler). I am pleased overall. And CI had great shipping. Cigars made it all the way to Afghanistan in 8 days. Nicely done, CI.
great smoke..love em on my lanai relaxing..
WINNER! One of my favorites at a price that can't be beat. Heck, the Macanudos alone are a bargain at this price!
Excellent combination. There should be a second one featuring the same brands in a medium-full selection
Simply wonderful, thank you CI!
I've read all the reviews for these two cigars and I'll tell you they are not wrong I'll be ordering them again very smooth and a great burn. Thanks!
Very surprised by the Man O' War Virtues! I'm buying this combo in multiples just for this cigar. Don't get me wrong, I like the Macanudo as well. Together, this is a smoking deal for under $3 a stick.
First of all, what a great deal. I have a 50 cigar humidor so these Gentleman's Deuce samplers are the perfect addition to my small collection. Two varieties of high quality cigars for $2.75 apiece. I got these cigars and let them sit in the humidor overnight before smoking the Macanudo Cafe Hyde Park. This cigar blew my mind. It was smooth and refreshing, a mild smoke, but rich with flavor. The burn was perfectly even and the draw was just right. From the start you get a nice nutty taste, almost like a peanut or chestnut oil. The second third of the cigar was my favorite part. The aroma alone was satisfying, but the flavors really start to come out. I got a taste of the nutty oil, a touch of coffee, and since it's so smooth, it tastes a little sweet and creamy. The final third was great as well. You get all the same flavors of the second third, but just a bit more "toasty" and a little stronger. I would have to say this is the most satisfying cigar I've smoked so far, and it was so mild and aromatic that my wife even enjoyed the taste and smell. I never understood the term "breakfast cigar" until finding this little guy. I can honestly say I would smoke this cigar any time of the day, any day of the week. It's the perfect smoke that just won't get old. As for the Man O' War Virtue, I was not so impressed. I let this one sit for two nights in the humidor. It does have a nice mild taste and a nice spice, but it seems to be lacking in flavor. The construction was nice and neat, but the draw was a little too soft for my liking, maybe just packed a little loose. Hopefully this cigar will gain some flavor as it ages in the humidor. Overall, this is a great deal. I would buy this again just for the Macanudo's. I can't wait to try these after a few months. This is definitely getting another purchase from me.
Thoroughly enjoyed this sampler. Great bargain on trying them. I ended up liking the Man O' Wars better.
This is one of the best samplers I have got from CI. Both are excellent cigars and well worth the money.
Hyde Parks are my favorite mild cigar, definitely a creamy feel, good smoke volume. ManoWar virtues are peppery in the beginning and more medium flavor. Overall great value for the price within the Gentleman's Deuce
No brainer. Will order this one again and again. Top notch sticks for bottom of the barrel prices. Way to go, CI!
How can you pass up getting (5) MACANUDO Cafe Hyde Park; and (5) MAN 'O WAR Virtue Toro for $2.75 a stix...the CI's "Gentelman's Deuce" Samplers are totally unreal...think about it this way, If you're a Macanudo fan...a 5'er of Macanudos from CI is $27.50, and then CI gives you a $40 5'er of MOW VIRTUE Toros to try as a FREEBIE !! This is another CI deal that I order in multiples...save even more $$$ !!!
Great cigars. Great price. A must buy.
