Tough to describe, easy to smoke. Leather & tannins prominent flavor for the first half with just enough pepper & spice, occasional hints of sweetness & coffee. Well constructed, nice firm draw allowing for a smooth consistent burn. Good volume of thick oily smoke. If you are hunting for something a little different in all the right ways look no further.
I was very pleased with the immediate taste of this cigar. A small amount of pepper and spice. A perfect draw and burn. A tiny bit bit of a grassy taste which can be taken care of with a little aging. An instant success.
This cigar simply kicks butt to another cigar that used to be a favorite of mine. But it "nubbed" me the wrong way so this new Luchador is now my favorite, a grand slam and a must try. I'm buying two boxes; one to age and one to smoke right now.
This is a great stick. Complex smoke with notes of white pepper, leather, espresso all within the 1/3. Pepper picks up a bit near the middle but not overpowering. The last third builds in strength and complexity with pepper dying down slightly and notes of leather, espresso, and cocoa coming out. This stick is at the upper end of Med-Full and even teetering on full in both body and strength. The smoke is very similar to a Man O' War or even a CAO Extreme. Excellent smoke. I was not expecting much given the silly wrapper and name. But all I can say now is my money is on Luchador Sam and my seats are ringside!
This is one of the best cigars I have smoked this year! Go get some; you'll be glad you did.
Talk about a great stick to have in your humidor. I love the pepper and espresso flavor throughout the smoke. It has a great draw and overall taste great. I've smoked a few of these and plan to smoke many more.
Brother Sam is dropkicking my taste buds right out of Arena Mexico with this masked superstar.
The stick has some nice tooth with instant notes of spice lingering with cocoa/coffee type notes right on light up. Not even at the 1/2 inch mark, and the flavors are building and developing. Razor sharp burn with the espresso and spice notes morphing in and out, what a fabulous cigar and would recommend to anyone a fan of med-full bodied cigars!
Wow, this cigar named after the famed Luchador wrestlers lives up to its name and then some. there is no wrestling with this beauty. Easy light, draw and flavor that will have the 1-2-3 on the competition. A nice dark wrapper very similar to the world famous Padron. The ash holds well and the draw is smooth, starts with a bit of a pepper then mellows out to a earthy medium-mild smoke. I have smoked all four of these cigars and by far I favor the 60 ring. Once fired up it lasted one hour plus and I smoked it right down to the finger burning nub. So, unmask the mystery of the Luchador and grab several of these, you will not be disappointed in the quality, flavor or the smoke. I predict this Luchador cigar to be the "New Heavy Weight Champion" in the cigar world, one tough to beat for the price, make-up and outstanding flavor and burn. Try some, I do not think you will be disappointed.
An absolutely amazing stick. Full on flavor, medium to full strength, very nice balance, and the ash held well. I am looking forward to purchasing more of them, and I fully recommend them to anyone.
