Nice smoke
These are a nice choice when you want a 20 minute smoke. Full flavor but smooth finish.

Nica Rustica
Yeah, if you read the reviews you can determine that palates are like ... well you get the drift. Love 'em or hate 'em, there's certainly a line in the sand with this smoke. I'm in the former crowd not the latter. I've never had a DE infused, (nor will I) but I'm always ready to torch anything Maduro from Nicaragua. This is a beautiful, very dark cigar with a pigtail cap and an uncut foot. Definitely not something you see everyday. The prelight aroma is thick & smoky, construction & burn have always proved to be perfect. The foot makes lighting this cigar too easy. It's a dense, delicious, chewy smoke that the Nica Rustica supplies and it's relatively steady throughout the time of enjoyment. No, the flavors don't change 5 times during the burn but hey, it's a great tasting cigar so why would you want it to change right? Nica Rustica, smoke on ...

Very Nice
Drew Estate Nica Rustica is one of my new favorites. Very good smoke that burns smooth and consistent throughout. My smoking partners have been amazed.

Not as good as other Drew Estate offerings
I was expecting more from this since I love Liga Privada #9 and Undercrowns. This was a free sample which I put n my humidor for a while. I did not find it very full bodied as others report, more like medium. I'll stick to my other Drew favorites. Not a bad cigar, just one I'll not buy again.

This is a Delicious Stick very Spicy and full of Flavor. I will recommend this one to everyone I know. I've had Liga's and others by Drew Estates but this was a very good Smoke @aVeryGoodPrice!

What a great cigar at a great price. Rich with heavy notes of chocolate, spice, and black pepper. Great construction and an easy draw. A staple to keep in your humidor.

Absolutely the best!
I first selected this cigar because it was made by drew estates. I didn't know anything more than that at the time. Well after I lit it I couldn't get enough... In fact I bought a few packs of them. Fair warning my father does not like how strong these are, however, he did grow up on swishers.

My favorite
I've been smoking this stick for a couple years now and it never fails to please. Drew Estate got this one right! Just right balance of strength and flavor which lasts throughout the entire stick. The only cigar I recommend to everyone.

Nica Rustica by Drew Estate - nice!
I have quickly become a fan of Drew Estate products. While I like mild to medium cigars the Nica Rustica provides a bold flavor that I really enjoyed. Very good smoke that burns smooth and consistently!

This is a great cigar at a great price. Lots of flavor, lots of smoke. Perfect for summer nights outside after a barbeque. Now that college football tailgating season is here you should definitely put these in your arsenal for gameday.

Holy C@$p...... this is one strong cigar! Don't let the rustic look fool you. This stick is consistent and delicious. Deep spice and aged tobacco flavors as well as a ton of smoke make this a great patio cigar. The draw on every one I've had has been perfect. If you like full flavor cigars for a good price than this one is a good choice. In the same ballpark as LHCOF, Diesel and Undercrown.
Customer Testimonials
This cigar ROCKS! ....This is one of the top three must have cigars in my humidors! AMAZING! It's been a while since a cigar surprised me and this the one has. I love them. Taste overload.
This is my "go to" cigar. Easy light with a bold [but not too bold] flavor. This is a consistent cigar with a good burn and easy draw. In my top five.
I bought a bundle of these cigars from CI after I sampled them from a B&M (Can't beat CI's prices or Customer Service). These cigars are good by me, but if you don't enjoy other Drew Estate non-infused offerings, you probably won't like this cigar. It spews the same smoke quantity as the undercrowns, so be careful to smoke in a well venerated area. Sometimes they give off a weird flavor that reminds me of licking birthday candles...strange but I've noticed the same in a couple of undercrowns. Might be connected to the ridiculous smoke output? They're great sticks, but it seems like DE is releasing cigars that are becoming more disconnected with a traditional "cigar" and becoming something else entirely. Good or bad? Depends of your taste buds. All in all, I'm a Nica Rustica fan and plan having them around for as long as they sell.
I was not a Drew Estates fan until I tried this cigar. It is not your typical bold flavor, but the notes of coffee and spice on my palate has left me considering having this as a staple in my humidor.
By far one of my favorite cigars. Burned even all the way through. Had a great draw. At first I took a hit and my mouth was almost overwhelmed by pepper.... Low and behold it became more mellow but never lost it's pepper. I loved this cigar. I would brag that I found it and recommend it to a friend.
This is a very nice smoke. Maybe not a full body, more like a medium full but that's ok..I think because of the construction it may be a bit over priced and the supply is limited.
Absolutely my favorite smoke at the moment. I mean, that term favorite does change now and then but the Nica will be hard to displace. I have had probably five over the last couple of weeks and all have been perfect from burn, draw, appearance and of course taste. I hesitate to use corny terms but "smoke bomb" is all I can think of to describe the beauty of this stick, whether being drawn on or just sitting in the tray or in your hand. All five senses are engaged for sure.
Easy light. Excellent construction, draw and burn. Very cool burn with massive smoke output, even while at rest. Mild sweet earthy flavors with hints of coffee, cocoa, nuts and caramel. Not complex, medium strength and no change in flavor profile to the end.
Well, the cigar construction was very appealing, the band was awesome but the flavor was bland. I can find a lot of cigars for a lot less money that taste better. This cigar has a ton of hype and this guy was very unimpressed.
A good, solid smoke. Not extremely complex, but consistent. In my estimation, this cigar leans more toward medium strength than full. Overall, a good cigar with a nice rich, yet not overpowering flavor. Pairs well with a dirty martini. Or two.
Well I just got my delivery on these cigars and all I can say is that I'm a happy camper! This is the poor mans T52. It's a little rough but I think it's because the cigar is still young. I think with a couple of months in the humi, this cigar will become a gem! Lot's of coco and expresso coffee bean right off the bat. Black pepper in the retro hale. Ton's of smoke output. If your a Liga fan, Definitely worth stocking up on.
Fantastic smoke! Had my first Nica Rustica El Brujito two days ago and the experience is still on my mind. Burns extremely even, perfect construction & draw, and a very smooth taste on the pallet. The Nica Rustica is even better than the Liga Privada Undercrown and will be a daily cigar for me once the supply has improved.
Perfect even light, even smooth burn, easy quality draw, plenty of delightful complex smelling smoke, but on my palate the Nica Rustica was a let down. It didn't have the complex full bodied flavor that I expected from this burn. I paired it with a dram of Buffalo Trace bourbon thinking that the Nica would hold up and was flatly disappointed. It tasted much more like a mild/medium smoke that would have paired better with a mild IPA. My mouth also held a pretty dissatisfying after taste which was strange after all the other high quality elements(burn, draw, smell) that this cigar had. I'm not sure if I need to give it another try with a whole new set of circumstances, but given the hype it received at my local lounge I expected far more.
