Great cigars poor shipping
Always great cigars no problem there. Shipping not as good as in the past. Paid extra for three day shipping arrived 6 days later. Could have used reg. shipping and arrived same time. If not for that I would rate as a 5star
Customer Testimonials
Nice smoke but it came apart. The construction was bad. The taste was okay.
I have to say, I just had a Robusto and it was pretty damn good. It was not the best cigar in the world, but for the price I didnt go wrong. It had a very good flavor and aroma. It started to get harsh with 1 inch left which is to be expected. I would definitely buy another.
Wow! They don't lack on size. Great tasting cigar.
I got a Toro as a freebie from the local b&m. Stuck it in the tuppador for a year or two (lost track). Pulled it out today, having never had a SLR, I was very curious. Excellent construction, seemless wrapper with very small veins, firm, beauty of a stick! Beheaded it, fired it up and was pleasantly surprised what turned out to be nearly two hours of enjoyment. Solid medium body, yet very flavorful, very smooth smoking. Great stick.
Bought one of these from a local shop, it's not bad. It's more on the medium mild side as another reviewer said. I wouldn't go so far as to call them a disappointment though. I enjoyed smoking this cigar, i'd give it a 6.6/10 overall. While that rating might seem a tad bit low, I am extremely demanding and hard to please when it comes to reviewing cigars. The overall construction and draw are on point, very firm cigar, you can tell they didn't skimp on how much they roll into each one. Earthy, aged tobacco flavor, very natural. Subtle hints of woody notes but on the faint side. This cigar would be good for a once-in-a-while cigar provided you have the budget, but definitely not for special occasions.
I want to preface this by saying it's a nice smoke and not by any means terrible. With that being said, the cigar was a big let down at least to what I was expecting by reading some of the other reviews found online. The taste was almost one dimensional and if anything I would rate it as a mild to medium body as it wasn't filling at all. Construction was great, terrific smoke burn and draw. Bland and uninspiring taste though, those who enjoy these types may find it differently. I may give another stick a shot as possibly this was a bad one, but I have read some like minded thoughts to my own in addition to the positive reports.
