Excellent Connecticut
The Toraño Dominico is an excellent smoke that burns evenly and has an incredible aroma. The cigars are always consistent and the prices on these bundle make it worth a try.

Great smoke, great price
Purchased many bundles of Torano Dominicos in the past, will continue as my go to cigar. It is consistently a mild, mellow, quality smoke. It outshines cigars that cost much, much more. I will be going to the mountains for hunting season soon and I always take the Dominicos, it has become a tradition.

Bought this on a special and quickly realized this was not a bod smoke. I have traveled and found others who enjoy the same cigar. Burns nicely with a good draw. Have recommended to others. For the price it is a solid everyday cigar.

Very good every day cigar

Great value
Nice mild smoke, continuous burn, no bitter aftertaste

Great Daily
This is a great daily cigar. Not overly strong. Cheap enough to afford everyday. If sitting in a nice humidor, stays moist and oily. Burns fairly evenly on most sticks.

Torano Dominico Toro
This is my regular daily cigar and I am always happy how nice and mild it is with a nice flavor. As always humidification for 3 wks is the key to any cigar.

Cigars Not What Expected
The description for these cigars suggests they all are mild (on the "mild" to "full" scale), but that wasn't the case. Disappointed I could only smoke a few out of the whole bundle. Had a lingering aftertaste. Might consider buying from Cigars Int'l. in the future since they offer a good price. Chris S.

Been arriving stale and dry
I have been buying these cigars for a few years now on a regular basis. They were out of stock for quite a while, and since their return, it seems every package has been very dry. Now I just order more and let the humidor work on them for awhile before trying to smoke them. Great cigar for the price.

Good cigar great price
Perfect size and quality for a nice evening smoke

The Toro size is better
I really do enjoy these Dominico's and would give it a 5 star rating as an everyday breakfast smoke with that second cup of java but I guess I just prefer the Toro size better. They are all pretty consistent with only a couple here and there with draw issues. They are also great handout smokes because almost everyone thinks they are a more expensive stick. They really are a fine mild smoke to start the day with that don't break the bank.

I'll keep looking for a better one
I just can't find much good to say about this cigar . I will say that it is cheap and mild . It produces good amount of smoke and the draw is good ...but.. the after-taste is like I just chewed up a aspirin , bitter on every draw. I guess it is a give away cigar.

I love Carlos Torano cigars
The Torano Dominico Robusto is my everyday cigar and has been for several years now. I literally smoke at least one every day. The construction is fairly consistent allowing almost always an even burn with a very nice plume. The cigar is a light medium smoke and has an aroma that is pleasant to cigar smokers and non-smokers alike which is always important to me with any cigar I smoke. We cigar smokers get a bad enough rap as it is even without having a skanky smelling cigar so I do my part to make sure everyone can enjoy the aroma of my smoke. But I digress, the price point on this cigar is really what makes it a winner allowing me to smoke hundreds of them over the years. (Please keep it that way). Please don't ever run out of stock again. Last year was a big scare. I don't want to have to search for another everyday cigar.

Torano Dominico
This has been a good smoke for a long time. I have noticed steady improvement in the quality of the cigars over that past year which was a nice surprise. Priced right for a daily smoker with a mild flavor. I have recommended this cigar to many friends. Hopefully that take my word and purchase them for themselves.

Not as smooth as I had hoped
Certainly not bad or real negative, but just a bit harsh for my taste. I got a bundle for every day smoking and wanted a milder stick. I LOVE Torano cigars so this seemed like a no-brainer. Taste is fine, draw is wonderful, but like I said, it just seems a little harsh and not quite as enjoyable as hoped.

Tasty, stays lit and burns evenly. Good Value. My only criticism is that I wish that they would last longer. I guess you get what you pay for.

great taste, great value, nice even burn, and it last through nine holes.

Worth the deal for sure. Nice construction!
These are quite good for the price. If you're a mild smoker then you will really enjoy this deal! I think they change from a mild to medium in the 2nd 3rd of the stick which I don't mind a bit. Good flavored cigars and well constructed from the one's smoked so far. Very even burn and draw was not tight whatsoever. I'd would suggest these to any mild smoker looking for a great deal for a everyday cigar!

Consistently Excellent
This was my 4th box of Dominicos. None have disappointed. While this cigar is much milder than what I usually prefer, it is always a consistent smoke from start to finish. Burns easily, draws well, and tastes great.

Great everyday smoke
I've smoked a few bundles, and other than one cigar, each smoked consistently good, and even. None fell apart like some cheaper alternatives and the flavor was consistent throughout. They are mild to medium, without any hot or peppery taste.

Customer Testimonials
The best everyday smoke around. Surprisingly good for such a low price.
Have to add my accolades to this cigar - hard to believe a cigar can be this good at such a low price - think it tastes great with a very nice draw.
I'm a huge fan of Torano cigars, but these were a little too mild for my taste. The construction is quality and the price is right for anyone looking for a good mild cigar.
Very nicely built and a great full flavored smoke.
Good, mild smoke with nice structure.
Fantastic, very good buy for the money. I have spent twice as much for cigars that were not as good.
My first ever CI purchase and it was NOT a disappointment. Great everyday smoke, with a nice smooth draw and a lovely, subtle wrapper that was great for after dinner sessions or just bumming around. A buddy and I have bought this bundle several times. Insane value!!!
These are great. Good all around anytime cigars, well worth the gelt!!!
For about $1.50 a piece you can't smoke anything better....I love these with a nice whiskey. Torano has never dissapointed me and their quality is excellent.
This cigar has to be the most enjoyable smoke I have had in a long is sooooo mild and so nice that it now my cigar....if you are looking for a very mild and enjoyable smoke....this it......Mud Marine
A nice smoke and mild in flavor. A meaty cigar in taste and flavor.
Best bang for the buck cigar I've ever tasted!
This is one helluva good budget smoke. Recently I had to scale back on my premiums like Fonseca 5-50 and CAO Gold due having to go onto a disability income in my early 40's. Anyway, my search first led me to the Cu-Avana natural which has been a great replacement, but I also wanted a second daily stick to smoke and my trek led me to the Torano Dominico. The Torano Dominico is a pretty ballsy stick. The Robusto looks and feels slightly bigger than a 50 ring gauge and it seems to weigh more. The Torano Dominico is well constructed, burns even, and has a surprisingly great flavor. The Torano Dominico starts out mild and tasty with little or no spice and stays pretty consistent all the way through and builds slightly to a mild-medium in the last third of the stick. If you smoke mild cigars like I do and you are having to scale back and keep your premiums for special occasions, I highly suggest the Torano Dominico and the Cu-Avana natural.
Premium cigar at a throw-away price. Classic mild Dominican flavor.
The last batch I received were too tightly rolled. Extremely hard draw. I'll try one more order and if cigars are rolled too tight I'm returning the shipment.
Great cigar. It has quickly become my fave even though my humidor is stocked with lots of pricey (over pricey?) cigars like Cohiba. I ordered the Torano Noventa and was disappointed; it could not shine Dominico's shoes. (I returned it for a refund. CI is good in that regard.) I will reorder a bundle shortly.
This cigar is so good I have to stop and think about it while I am smoking my one per day with my cocktail at 5. As with all cigars, humidifaction (to humdify) is critical and so easy with nothing fancier than a sealable glass jar and a the thing the shape of a cigar from of course Cigars Int. They are reall great and I have tried quite a few. I am re ordering now!
great smoke and oh the price makes them even better
Such a great deal on an excellent cigar! Goes from mild to medium throughout the smoke. Ordering my second bundle!
when you buy a bundle., rest in your humidor for week. Th cigar has a nice draw and plenty of smoke. A nice cheap cigar!
These cigars have problems. You can't keep it lit because the tobacco is packed way to tight. Did not enjoy them...
My favorite go to smoke. Perfect burn and good flavor every time. Highly recommended!
Smooth smoke with a slight wrapper issue, but not enough to not buy again. Flavors are light, but easily recognizable. Recommended, great buy.
These cigars are very mild. There was a hint of pepper in the after taste that was actually rather pleasant. I was smoking them in an adverse conditions, which led to issues keeping the cigar lit. Another issue was the uneven burn. This happened because I was on a golf course with 25 plus miles per hour winds, given that I'm certainly not going to hold the cigar responsible for those issues. Given its relative cheapness I would expect some mild burn issues. I'm not sure whether or not this will become my new golfing cigar, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with this cigar. I could definitely see myself smoking one of these on the front nine and the back nine.
Got one of these in a CI bundle, was Churchill sized, and was very surprised! Started out at the light with a VERY spicy hit (almost like it was full of cayenne pepper) that faded quickly, say within 5 minutes or so. The first third had that hay/tobacco taste people are talking about, but the second third was very creamy as the hay faded. The last third had the cream fade to a subtle point, but with a leather taste coming through to the end. If these sound like good flavors to you I'd say give it a try.
I've now gone through a few bundles of these, Noventas they're not, but a decent smoke. Some inconsistencies with construction, but nothing terrible. Great price.
Just got my second bundle! Love them! Keep them in stock please!
I, like the majority of people nowadays, am usually a medium-full smoker. But I never snub my nose at a Connecticut, and that's the wrapper variety I prefer to start my day with, so I'm always keeping an eye out for a tasty one. This is one of them. The price, the blend, the everything, it's all right.... As I'm sure the majority of you already know, Torano couldn't make a bad cigar if he tried. And this price is off the freakin' heezy for sheezy.
Great cigar, love it!
Not the type of Connecticutt I had hoped for, and you need to let them rest for a few weeks. But overall a good deal nonetheless.
Looks good. Smells of hay/grass. Burn was perfect, ashed to a perfect cone. Flavor... Meh. Nothing beyond slightly grassy tobacco and a bit of harshness on the finish. I didn't make it halfway before I wrote it off. Stick to the Exodus, which is one of my favorite, which made this one so disappointing.
Wonderful every day smoke. Smokes evenly from beginning to end. It may be the best value out there.
Although a novice, I have enjoyed Carlos Torano before (Noventas and 1916 Camaroons among my favs). I bought this as an inexpensive smoke and was prepared to be disappointed. Smoked one off the truck (against my better judgement since I was low on stock). Pleasantly surprised. Not a great "looking" cigar in its somewhat veiny Connecticut wrapper, but a mild, pleasant smoke. Started off earthy and then got a very slight jam and spice flavor, but not overwhelming. Consistent burn and ash from the Dominican filler. Flavor consistent from beginning to end after the first inch. Don't know why they are so inexpensive. They compare well to a Hampton Court or similar in strength. Great value.
There are many cheap natural Dominican cigars out there, too many in my opinion. Most of them are not worth the $1 they cost. This cigar is not one of those. It is cheap in price, but not in materials. The flavor is good and the construction is excellent. I've moved away from natural wrappers in favor of maduros, but every once in awhile I like a milder cigar. This one is great to buy a bundle and put away for sharing or a change of pace.
I typically buy Robusto size cigars since I have a heavy draw and about half way through I get them hot and harsh and I am forced to pitch it. I like mild Cigars and especially Dominican so I tried these since they fit my budget for an every day stick and I have smoked Torano before without any issues unlike some other brands (Rocky Patel, Gurkha, and Brickhouse). To sum up the experience in as little words as possible, "This cigar simply delivers." The flavor is mellow, the draw is perfect, ash is firm, burn flawless, and they do not get harsh on the palate. I really enjoy these cigars and would buy them at twice or even triple the price. Fuente should take notice. Honestly if you are still reading this then you are wasting time. Stop. Buy. Enjoy. Thank me later...
I've been doing business with CI for several years. Love the Vega 5, but for the money, the Torano's are my favorite everyday smoke.
These are great for a mild fan. Nice, even burn…and check out the price!
Great smoke, great price, affordable. I ordered from several different cigar stores. CI has the best prices and the best service. I ordered on a Monday morning and received my order Tuesday afternoon. Keep up the good work. I narrowed down ordering to one company,CI. I haven't been disappointed yet.
My 1st Torano but not my last. At $1.72 a stick including shipping it is the best low end 'mild' stick I've smoked. Very comparable to my Macanudos at 1/3 of the price. A nice even burn and draw. Kudos to CI for this gem.
Carlos hit a grand slam with this beauty. I received a bundle for my b - day and smoked one right away. Well not very impressed. I put them in my my box for 2 weeks and omg !!! What a great cigar notes of wonderful flavors front to back. Age is key. This is not a give to all your friends type of cigar. This is your best friend has to try cigar.this cigar is a winner and the price a steal. Get them while their still affordable .God bless CI and Carlos a true match made in heaven.
This is my first time trying the Dominico, what a great cigar,it was fantastic from the start .the flavors were amazing thru and thru . And the price you can't beat with a stick . This is my new go to cigar, Carlos made one hell of a cigar. The perfect stick for mild to medium folks. You will love the price, and all the great under tones of flavors . Enjoy .
I got these because of the name, I always loved Toranos, and this stick did not disappoint. I am not one that is good at describing the flavors, but I can tell you that this cigar is great. It starts out with one attitude, then about an inch and a half in, give or take becomes something different. The complexity of this cigar is not one to expect from a -$2 cigar, but neither is it what you would expect from Torano's upper shelf items. The construction is the same though as all my cigars (keep in mind I am not through that awful many of them) have burned with a very even and consistent burn. This cigar rivals many I have spent upwards of $5 in my local shop, and for someone who wants to take a little trip of different flavors in a cigar it is not matched.
I got the Torpedo's and I smoked my first one the other day. It is a good mild-medium bodied cigar and it paired very well with a Guiness Stout, actually too well. The smokiness of the Guiness and the dominico made one of best toasty flavors that have ever graced my taste buds. Although I haven't tried yet but, I am sure it will pair well with an espresso.
It's a decent medium bodied smoke for the price, a good daily driver or golf smoke. I'll be buying more of these for my dailies, good bang for the buck.
Unfortunately I sort of got what I expected from this order. Figured the price was too good to be true, or perhaps I've just become too much of a full-bodied fan, but these sticks are quite lacking in the flavor department. They'll get the job done as a morning smoke or what have you, but you really have to search hard for a flavor profile that most of the time just isn't there. Still, good for handing to friends who don't know any better, but overall even at the price, not the best bang for your buck I have to say. Doesn't diminish my love of Carlos Torano as a brand though. Exodus rules.
My first impression was that this cigar has no flavor (see previous comments), but after several weeks of aging in the humi they were much better.
Nice construction and good burn, but not much flavor. I smoke only mild to medium bodied cigars with Connecticut shade wrappers and found these to be way too mild.
Not too shabby for being so cheap. Smoked one right off the truck after a 2 day journey to the wastelands of Idaho. Tons of thick, chewy smoke. Super mild, could definitely smoke these all day. If you're looking for an everyday gar, this is one you should consider. Thanks CI!
I just smoked my last Churchill from a bundle on twenty I ordered in June. I reviewed these in July or so I think, so, just a quick update. The last was as good as the first. All perfect draws, burns and all tasty for my mild moods. I just can't say good enough things about this very easy on the pocketbook gar. They are great! A Casa Torano they are not, but they are one of the best value cigars on the market. I will occasionally but from one other site, definitely never from the chumps in Miami with all the crappy house brands. It still amazes me when I read about the guys who pick up a cigar or two from thier local shops. My local shops are about 4 times as expensive as CI. You guys deserve the (label,) King of Kings retailers. Rock on CI.
I just finished the 6th or 7th stick from the 20 pack and although the draw on this particular one was a little tight, the rest have been perfect. I've always liked Torano's consistency, flavor, construction, etc., and these do not disappoint. Beautiful wrapper, well made, a great everyday smoke at a price that will keep me coming back. Thanks again to CI for this tasty discovery.........
Just got a bundle of Torano Dominico robustos at a low price looking for a new low cost morning smoke. They are VERY mild. There is nothing medium about them and a they little too mild for my taste. They so finally pick up a little spice about a third of the way in. On a positive note the construction and burn are good, the flavor is decent and the price is right. If you are a lover of mild cigars or looking for something to give to newbies or moochers this is not a bad choice. For me, I'll stay with 5 Vegas Gold or Gurka Park Avenue for a reasonably priced morning stick.
Recently I found myself longing for a selection of morning cigars, as my humis are stuffed with the likes of Man O Wars, Ruinations, CAO Cameroons, Pepin Garcias, Big Gurkhas... So I ordered a box of Greycliff G2s, "yummy," one 5 pack Tempus, (still like to keep more full bodies,) and a bundle of Torano Dominico. This is a great cigar although they were a bit crushed on some of the ends (not a packaging problem, but a carrier one,) even those are of perfect burn, draw AND a wonderful straight forward tobac taste. They do have a perfect light easy morning draw so if anything they do burn quick but never hot. I AM a Torano fan and you could be very well also without even knowing, as the family are master blenders. Bottom line GREAT gar, for a 2 buck price they are one of my favorite value cigars. Do not hesitate, mild to mid smokers will not be disappointed.
No doubt, these are the BEST value in pemium cigars. What a great smoke, from beginning to end. Great draw, great flavor. If I had room, I'd buy some more, but I will soon.
Well...I just got a bundle of the old blend...and for me it knocks the heck out of this new one...seems to be the same tobacco blend...but in a criollo wrapper? anyway I wish I had space in my humidor, I would surely get another bundle of this mild, but oh so flavorful cigar...thanks CI, you guys are the best...
Bought this mild gem due to a CI email. I sincerely doubted that it would be "smokeable" with the low just over a buck price but was impressed by the description and the fan mail. Boy was I surprised! Packed with distinct flavors of roasted nuts and very pleasant spice and coupled with the smoothness that only a true Connecticut wrapper provides, this tasty stick smokes like much more expensive brands. What a bargain! Thanks CI!
I had a Carlos Torano Dominico OTT (off the truck) and was quite surprised! Nutty upon lighting, excellent earthy flavor. I'm not a huge Torano fan, but these cigars are very very nice for the price!
