“I bought this from a discount bin at my local cigar shop; It became my favorite cigar. Oily, rich, creamy flavor and a burn that is perfect from start to finish. When my shop stopped carrying this I went on a quest to find something similar, and it proved to be difficult. I still keep coming back to this cigar. For fans of Brickhouse and Punch, give this beauty a try.”
“Received this cigar as gift, now I am going over to the CI Downtown Store to haggle with Kevin over a price for a box...make our best offer.”
“My co-worker likes to herf, so I traded a Gurkha Beauty for an el baton belicoso. The el baton was absolutely dynamite..first third: toasted foot and behold, a nice spicy flavor magnified on the retro hale...second third: mellowed out to a smooth wonderful flavour...returning to spicy for first half of final third. Finishing mellow & mild to the nub. Very good cigar. Buy some, toast em, & smoke em. You will like this cigar. Even burn, no relights; satisfying first draw to finish.”
“Yes, Yes!! El Baton is freaky Good. My 6/60 was all I didn't expect. Closer to full than medium. Lots of beautiful tasty smoke. I smoke a lot of good cigars, this one has become one of my favorites. Will absolutely buy again. Construction was on, burn even. And I'm not a big fan of 60 rings, however this one has got a great feel. The end will warm a bit (last inch) not enough for me to abandon. Enjoyed it all!! Thanks Again CI”
“Ordered a five pack on a whim and I would say these are a decent cigar. Some of the wrappers were damaged (not sure how because CI is usually good about packing orders), but CI was very quick to handle the matter so thanks CI!
I think the cigars are as advertised in flavor and overall a good smoke in the medium range.”
“Wow! What an absolute amazing cigar! I can only describe this smoke as a delicious 1.5 hour journey. On the light my mouth was embraced by a mellow coating of sweet caramel like taste. On the exhale a woody like taste erupted on the tip of my tongue. This lasted throughout the first third with hints of spice throughout. On the second third the sweetness took a back seat, though its presence could still be noticed, and the spice took over the mouth with the woody cedar still on the tip of the tongue. Finally on the last third the sweetness returned and the spice moved to the tip of the tongue and lingered for a while. Occasionally I would get a roasted coffee in the aftertaste. If these flavors appeal to you than you will thoroughly enjoy this smoke. My local cigar bar is running a buy 3 get 1 free special and I plan on taking full advantage of that.”
