“This is an outstanding, full-bodied cigar. The guide says it is medium-full, but I would consider this a fairly full-bodied smoke, which is what I love. I have always enjoyed Pepin and other cigars with Corojo and some heft. This cigar is right there as a favorite. You need to give these a try.”
“I thought I would try a sampler of PDR sticks, taking advantage of a great toro offering. With that said, I'm always skeptical of great deals like CI was offering, but I'm here to tell you, this cigar is well worth 3 times what I paid for it. The burn was even from start to finish. The draw was effortless and left me wanting more. Flavor was medium to full and very smooth. This stick will become a regular in my rotation. Thanks CI!”
“Smooth and yummy. In other words, a 92 on the scale.”
“I received this in a sampler (Backyard Boogie) from CI. Good full-bodied cigar to start with. A solid stick that I'd pay $4-6 for no problem. Easy draw and consistent flavors. Don't expect any fireworks, however not a let down either.”
“Can be pretty good and can be pretty bad. I have had 4 of these from a sampler and they were 50/50. The first one wasn't very good. The second was the best. The third was again not very enjoyable, and the fourth was pretty good again. The 2nd and 4th ones were pretty smooth and no very strong on nicotine or flavors. The flavors were pretty nice and probably about medium bodied. I probably wouldn't buy these again because they're not my typical flavor preference. But for the $1.50/stick I paid...., they were decent. Can't complain too much at that price.”
“I am on my fourth 10 pack of these. I get a great deal from the MMAO page. The construction is excellent. The burn is always even and nice and slow. They have a great flavor and pack a decent punch. These cigars are better than ones I've had that cost 3 or 4 times as much. I would highly recommend these cigars to anyone. Please have these available forever!
“Got a ten pack of the double perfectos for 20$. This shape is quite pretty! Construction and draw were very good. It lacked flavor the first half, picked up in the second half but it turned south pretty fast (harsh). Well worth the sticker price, but I've been impressed with some of the PDR offerings lately, so I kind of had higher expectations for this stick. Maybe some time in the humi will help.”
“Being a long-time fan of PDR cigars, getting the toro sampler was a no-brainer. The blends that make it up are way up there on my list of go to cigars. The Corojo, in particular, was a new one for me. After about 2 weeks of humidor time, I grabbed one for the ride home after work. Consistent burn and a very nice variety of flavors, this cigar kept my attention the whole time. I tend to lean toward the habano wrappers anyway but this has been a highly enjoyed smoke regardless.”
“This is a nice even burning cigar. Well constructed. A good flavor throughout. Got them as part of a sampler and all were consistent. Good volumes of smoke with each draw. Had about four or five days in the humidor before I got to this one and was suitably impressed. At this price, I would buy again. But not the grade which really knocks my socks off. Overall, a nice smoke.”
““Very impressed with this cigar. I like to be surprised and I was. To me the construction of a cigar is one of the most important things as having a cheaply built one just ruins the moment including dealing with uneven burn that usually comes with it. This stogie's construction I'd rate up there with Pepin and Fernandez and the more expensive cigars. I like full-bodied too and this one more than delivers with lots of plumes of smoke followed by a great aftertaste! This is a great cigar and you'd be a fool for passing up on this gem!””

“What can you say about a pdr? What do you expect from a $2 stick? I've never had a bad pdr till the first stick out of this box... Till I let it sit, after 3 days resting(must have been a stressful journey to my door step) a fine stick. One good enough to share with all on the holidays and not feel cheap. This stick is smooth and sweet with a lil spice. I was burning my fingers I didn't want to put it out! And its $2 and some change!”
“I can't think of anything to dislike about the PDR Small Batch Torpedo. This is a spicy, robust, mellow, and smooth Corojo smoke with a long, sweet, creamy finish. It is strong and bold without being overpowering, it pairs exceedingly well with brandy, and it has the most pronounced note of semi-sweet cocoa I've ever encountered in any cigar, Corojo or otherwise. I am VERY happy with this purchase.”
“I picked up 2 boxes of the Torpedo and was surprised with the punch this cigar has. Lots of flavor! Spice, chocolate and hints of mint. Like a after dinner chocolate dinner mint. Tons of spice, citrus, pepper to please all pallets. Just a fantastic complex, yet balanced in its flavors. A real winner. My intro to PDR.”
