“Great smoke for the price. Burns evenly, great draw, good construction, will buy again.”
“Do the math. An 8 bone 6" X 50 Pyramide for $2.61. Well worth the asking price if you like mild/medium bodied blends. Ashton & Macanudo come to mind. Solid construction & a heavy feel are typical with Sosa offerings. Vintage is no exception. Draw is well balanced producing lots of smoke with relative ease. Notes of persimmon mingle with floral spice. The Connecticut wrapper is dark, adding a leathery taste. A bit more exciting than most Connecticut wrapped Dominican offerings. 89/100”
“Although the Sosa Vintage Piramide No. 2 is by no means a mind-bending smoke, it's still a damn good one. I have no complaints with any technical aspect of it at all, not surprising since it's made to Fuente standards. It's a bit spicier and more peppery than the Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva, but less complex (if that makes ANY sense).
However, what puts this cigar over the top is the absolutely insane price. I would have been happy with these at $45 a bundle. At $26, it's just ridiculous. Don't pass these up. As of right now (May 2014), I would say these are the best deal currently going in cigars.”
“An awesome cigar for me...will buy more!”
“GREAT SMOKE! Even burn nice draw and good price. Very enjoyable with good bourbon”
“These cigars are well worth the discounted price...worth about $8 each retail. I'd give them an 89 great construction, perfect burn, a little sour tasting in the beginning and towards the nub, but I'm on my fourth shipment of twenty and still thoroughly enjoying them. Great stick! Get some while you still can.
