“This is one of my favorite sample (Bevy of Bohemians II: Victor Sinclair''s Finest)due to the combination of price and quality. Can't be beat! Each is a pleasure to smoke and hat's off to Cigar International for putting together this combo.”
“I have been smoking VS for years, I smoke a lot of top shelf stuff too, If your looking for some every day smokes, I bet you could find a few in this set to add to your rotation. all of the 55 series are very good, The bohemians are pretty good too. these are premium cigars, with a machine made price, please Don't think your getting Ashton VSG's though, These are not top shelf, but I have to say the 55's are very tasty cigars, Personally the only dud in my opinion is the Yankee, I will agree with others, it is way to earthy for my pallet, little salty too. but this is a taste many smokers enjoy. find your favorite, and wait for one of the CI deals, and pounce, I have bought some at much less than 2 bucks a stick.”
“Great sampler, not a bad smoke (Bevy of Bohemians II: Victor Sinclair's Finest) in the lot! I really enjoyed the Series 55 Maduro. The Primrose is excellent as well as the Series 55 Sungrown. I only have four left to smoke and am highly anxious to try them. You can't go wrong with this sampler at this price!”
“I think this one is overall a great offer. Plus it comes in a handsome wood box. This was my first experience with Victor Sinclair, and I'm still pretty new to the cigar game. I found the Series 55 to have a nice variety. The Cameroon was my least favorite, while the Corojo was very nice. Best of the lot was the Oscuro. I really did not care for the Connecticut Yankee, but others seem to really like them. I found it too "earthy" tasting, almost like it was dirty. Enjoyed the overall experience so much, that I promptly ordered the box of VS Vintage Selects with the Freebie pack. I'm a happy dude!”
“Nice sampler, the Bohemians are very good (the jet black Oscuro was the best), the 55's are decent and the Conn. Yankee was also a good smoke. Nice deal”
“This is an awesome lil' box set. I've been on a tear lately with the entire Victor Sinclair line of smokes. This sampler of small smokes is a nice way to get introduced to some of their great, well priced cigars.
The box is nice and it makes for a great gift. I've ordered several already for birthdays. No complaints; only compliments.”
“Blue Label - Maduro. Pretty band. Nice black wrapper. Well packed with a good draw. Not as 'smokey' as I would have liked and a bit on the weak side (keep in mind though that I eat Tobasco sauce on my ice cream). Nice mild to medium stick. A great morning coffee cigar.”
“Green Label Sungrown- Nice peppery start to a fine mild to medium bodied stick. I lost the pepper about a third of the way down and some very nice subtle earth tones made an appearance followed by a hint of leather. Nice finish ... and as all my Victor Sinclairs have been packed right and have a nice smooth draw.”
“Ooops. I posted my first review of the Series 55 on the '8 Flight Sampler' by mistake if anybody cares to read it. I think that delicious high octane Triple Corojo left me a bit befuddled! I put the torch to the Series 55 Green Label last night. A bit of a peppery start, but calmed down right away to a pretty good 'unleaded regular' smoke. Nice even burn with copious amounts of smoke. Packed just right. A little too mild for an after dinner smoke (for my palate), but what a great day starter with good cup 'o joe. Got hints of leather and nice earth tones ...and as is always the case with Victor Sinclair .... good right down to my stained fingers.”
“Red Label, Cuban Corojo. COME ON BABY LIGHT MY FIRE ........ Man o' Man was that a good smoke. Good pack, nice draw and plenty of smoke that delivered not just 93 octane ....... but av gas baby. I could feel the full punch of this guy from the time the torch hit it to the time I had to go put my fingers out at the end. I'd like a whole humidor of these rascals. Mmmmm, Mmmmmmm, GOOD!”
“With a cleaned and ready palate, I put the torch to the Red Label Corojo this morning. My taste buds began dancing the fandango at the first draw. Smooth easy pull with voluminous smoke. With a slight hint of citrus on the palate, the bouquet was exceptional. I'd give this stick an easy 91 rating. She ran smoothly from start to finish firing on all 8 cylinders for the whole journey. Great medium to full bodied smoke. Keep a bevy of these sticks in your humidor. You won't be sorry.”
“Not a dog rocket in the box. Nice set "o" smokes. All kidding aside this is one fantastic sampler. And for only 20 bucks.
I just ordered more.
You should too!”
