A: Simply pour distilled water over top until the foam doesn't hold anymore water. Then pad dry with a paper towel. You'll want to do this every week or two. That said, crystal gel jars make it much easier when it comes to refilling and regulating humidity. Check out this video, it will run you through the set-up process.
