Mild but full flavored with a hint of chocholate. PERFECT!!!!!
I'll second on the Export Maddie...what a great consistent smoke (Villiger), great for quick winter time treat.
The Villiger "Exports" in maduro are an excellent quick smoke. Hey CI how come you don't carry this size?
I love these little smokes. They are very flavorful and are good for about 20 minutes or so. I just ordered a box at a great price.
Awesome little smokes - Maduro is a bit stronger for the evenings, and the blondies for my morning coffee - can't go wrong at the price. Well done - CI!! Another winner. Now I don't have to shop any other sites to get all the cigars I like. :-)
These are consistently good little cigars and beat the heck out of any of the cheap-o machine-made cigars. They're well constructed and draw beautifully. A truly decent cigar for when you don't have a lot of time.
Villagers are perfect for a quick smoke. They are not comparable to typical box pressed cigars you find at the gas station. You will find them to have superior, natural flavor over the other cheap brands.
Ordered the box of Maduros last month and down to less than 10. I found the taste was similar to Nat Sherman Havana Oval cigarette, mild flavor that escalates towards medium near the second half. Wrapper is leaf, binder is tobacco paper and filler are pieces. These are machine made, so it's not going to rival a hand-rolled cigar, but perfect for those looking for a 20-30 minute smoke. No cutter or torch lighter necessary. Great for cigarette smokers looking to expand into cigars.
Just received this short neat little cigar, it's a perfect smoke for those times when you can't enjoy a big stick.
I was pleasantly surprised how nice it smoked right out of the box upon arrival. Beats anything I've bought locally .
For those times when I can't light up a big stick. Bravo!
I handed these out to a group of experienced cigar smokers at a party, and everyone raved about how good they tasted. I love them for fishing trips, where I want to smoke a cigar, but don't want to be of the water for an hour+. Perfect.
I love these little smokes! But what is this world coming to? No more wood boxes for the box of 50's? Sheesh. I am glad I saved my last one so that I can just refill it with the new cardboard boxes. Still worth it though, and I will keep buying them.
Bought a box of the Villiger Export maduro. What a wonderful tasty cigar! Rivals many of the small premium cigars I've enjoy. If you want to impress your buddies just pass a few out. They'll all have to order some. Thank you Cigars International.
Been smoking these bad boys for years. They're great for that quick break from the office and when I'm out puttering around in the yard. Keep them stocked, getting ready for a new order!
Can't beat these little guys. Cheaper than a Dutch Masters paper cigar, and taste as good as any $20 cigar.
Love these little cigars for a quick smoke. Mild , slight sweetness, with a nutty taste. Just right for one glass of wine.
This was a novel new smoke for me. I've never seen a 'squared', box-pressed cigar before. While some indicate it's a dry-cured stick, it's definitely not tree-branch firm... It lights instantly, and provides loads of smoke on even a light draw. That's why some are calling it a 20-minute smoke, and that's about right. I tried the Maduro-wrapped Export, and found it to have a nice body, towards medium in strength. Nice alternative taste to my cheroots.
I tried the natural and the maduro. The natural has a little sweetness to it and it is very mild. The maduro, my favorite of the two, was very smooth and very nice for a cigarillo.
The new wrapper makes the Villiger Export a rounded line of cigars. It's richer than the Sumatra, and not as deep as the Maduro. So it sets perfectly in the middle of the line and will keep you coming back for more. If you haven't tried these dry cured beauties then you've missed a dang good cigar. Not all machine made's are crap! The Villiger is just one of a bunch of imported dry cureds that will not leave you lacking.
I've always loved this cigar for many reasons.
#1 - it's cheap money-wise.
#2- I have never had one that burned out of control.
#3- the taste is pretty decent for such a small cigar.
#4- when you only have a little time, this fits the bill.
The aroma is nice and they taste great as well. For a short smoke for very little money, stockpile some boxes.
They're awesome in a pinch.
My original Thumbs-up has disappeared.
The Villiger Export (natural) is one of my favorites. A very nice every-day smoke. Although I prefer flavored cigars, these have a good taste. And burn more evenly than the more expensive Diesel selections I have tried.
Give these puppies a try.
Great little cigar, if you want a quick smoke, love the box press. I enjoy it thoroughly, and you can't beat the price. Gets a 10 out of 10 rating from me.
Exports are such great smokes. I love the box press on these. I have smoked the natural and maduro, both are good but I like the natural more. They are packed with flavor, mild and sweet tobacco, hints of caramel and creamed coffee, very satisfying. About a 20-25 min smoke. Since they are dry-cured & don't need a humidor puts them over the top for me! I just throw a handful in my briefcase and can enjoy one whenever the time arises. I always keep a stock handy. I smoke a ton of them and No one beats CI's prices or super fast shipping! Thanks CI!
A very consistent and flavorful Machine made at a very reasonable price. These are double the price if bought locally for me, and they are not Garcia Vega or Phillies...Thank God. These are made in Switzerland...I've been smoking these for years and they are a prefect little smokes and never disappoint. A nice draw and a mild smoke still with a decent flavor in 15-20 minute smoke. Best of all they don't taste like grass clippings. I smoke everything from medium to full Bodied smokes from all continents.
