Not the best
these cigars were dried pretty much out. I have been trying to get their condition better in humidor. Half of these smokes so far have the dried wrapper falling off half way thru the smoke

It's like meeting God (and I'm an atheist!), it's THAT GOOD!
I'm a total n00b when it comes to cigars, I had a puff of one of these almost 2 years, and I've been searching for it ever since, nobody carried it (and I didn't know I could order cigars online since I live in Utah), anyway, I ended up here, picked up the 5 pack, plus 6 of the 10th anniversary champagne reserves in the herfador with a lighter combo, figured maybe I was missing something, but no, the Champagne Noir is where it is at, the flavors and sweetness, and having never smoked a full cigar myself, I was nearly high by the end of this thing, it was beyond a religious experience, it was like dying, going to heaven, meeting God and him handing you one of these Perdomo Reserve Champagne Noirs to smoke while talking about the meaning of the universe and man's existence. --And I don't even believe in God, but it was THAT GOOD!! I would recommend this to ANYONE, it is probably as good as life will ever be.

Great Cigar!
Great cigar especially when on sale. Easy draw, slow burn with no bite.

Nothing but trouble.
Just terrible. I ordered a 5 pack. First one I smoked wouldn't smoke. I think it had a hole in it as it drew easily but produced no smoke. I threw it out. Wrote it off as an isolated incident. Nope. the second one didn't draw at all. SUPER tight. Rammed a paper clip from the head and popped what seemed like a plug. It would draw ok for a little bit but "clog" up again. Ended up snuffing it out before eve halfway. I have 3 more in my 5 pack and will probably just throw them in the trash where they belong. Maybe it's just the torpedos that have problems I don't know. Will never order again.

The best in quite a while
Very good cigar. After a 6 month sabbatical from cigars (due to better half doesn't like cigar smoke). It was a real treat. I may have to start smoking cigars again and these will be on the favorite list

Perfect Cigar, Perfect Service
The cigars arrived in excellent condition incredibly fast. Not only was the cigar delicious and amazing, but buying from Cigars International was just as fantastic.

You have got to try thins!
Well, I can't add much to what has already been said. First off, everybody told me Perdomos were not worth smoking. WRONG!! At least for this one I tried after reading about them. Secondly, I am not a fan of maduros. I am with this one! Delicious smoke. Full and rich, slight sweetness and awesome taste! Good burn and ash! I'm sorry I didn't try this before. I will try most cigars and I will be trying Padilla, Torano and more of these! These have moved right up there with my Ramon Bueso Habano Genesis. Man I love finding underrated cigars!!

Excellent smoke for the price
Well constructed, flavorful cigar at an excellent price. I was very pleased with all aspects of the Perdomo Reserve Champagne Noir Robutso.

As good as expected
I've waited too long to try this smoke, after being a great fan of La Tradición Maduro. Perdomo is certainly one of my favorite cigar brands - one that I recommend wholeheartedly to every interestd and avid cigar smoker. I've only had 2 out the 5-pack that I recently purchased and they were pleasant, heady, if a little oily. I will let them camp out in my humidor for a few more weeks before I dig in again. Would certainly buy again.

I think cigar has a great flavor and smooth burn. This is a great cigar, especially for the price!
Customer Testimonials
Wow, one of the best I've ever smoked! Good quality rich smoke, easy draw, great flavor. I rarely buy by the box, but this will be an exception. Second favorite cigar after AB Prensado.
So I took a bit of a chance buying a 4 pack sampler of Perdomo Maduros.... But this Champagne Noir... This was an amazing cigar. Before lighting it there was that rich, distinct, semi-fruity smell of raisins. After the first few puffs it developed a creamy, vanilla/cocoa flavor with small hints of cedar and what I can only describe as an "Oatmeal Raisin Cookie" taste (minus the sweetness). My only regret is not having some Grappa to pair with it AND I wish I could have finished it. This cigar was so Nicotine-Heavy that I could only get a little more than halfway through it before becoming "nicotine drunk" as I call it. Awesome flavor, solid build, easy draw, even burn... it is amazing!
From the first puff of a Champagne original I knew Perdomo would be my favorite brand, after that I have to try them all. The noir is absolutely delicious, smooth, coco, earth, leather, a little spice? Its all there, flavor changes constantly and it never gets dull. Tastes a little Ashy towards the end but I guess thats the signal that your done. My favorite so far, But I have yet to try everything they offer.
Thoroughly enjoyable.... Rich flavors, full & every bit as refined. My favorite maduro! The Figurado (4.7"x56) is a great value too.
WoW! I'm not one for writing reviews, however, as I sit on my deck this beautiful spring evening with a Perdomo Reserve Champagne Noir and a some Rye whiskey - WoW! 1/2 inch gray-white ash, chocolate, fruit and pepper on the tongue kids playing in the yard, wife reading a book. This has got to be heaven!
Smoked this at my local shop. Got it in a 4 pack travel humidor sampler. It wasn't a bad cigar, I've had worse. However, it's not impressive by any means. It's a mild-medium-mild-medium shift mostly. not a lot of diversity in the flavor profile, there's some complexity but it's weak! Basically a really toned down and thick. Probably won't buy this again but worth a try if you're curious. 6.5/10 over all. Well rolled, beautiful wrapper, great draw. Flavor is lacking and same goes for texture.
The Perdomo Reserve Champagne Noir is a wonderful creation. The flavor reminds me of a brownies...oily cream, cocoa, chocolate, etc. The burn is razor sharp and yields lots of dense smoke. The finish is light and elegant. This stick has earned a spot in my personal top 10. Nick Perdomo is the man!
Excellent smoke. This cigar is smooth and long lasting. I tried the 5 pak and within days ordered more.
Great smoke. I've smoked both the robusto and churchill and both are winners.
Absolutely a great cigar with a smoothness that does not make sense at this price. I will order more of these sexy smooth cigars, thank you CI and PERDOMO!
I enjoy a great many fine cigars. Perdomos, of many varieties, are constantly in one of my humidors.
There's not much I can add to what's been said. The original Champagne was my all around favorite cigar. When you also factor in price, it was pretty damn hard to beat. I've sampled RP's, Montecristo, Padron, Cohiba, Tatuaje, Arturo Fuente, you name it. All of those are great...but the Noir is cheaper and every bit as good and in my humble opinion, better. All the smoothness, creaminess, and thick plumes of the original champagne, but with bolder flavors. The addition of a more coffee/chocolate like profile over Champagnes flavors is what puts it over the edge. Fantastic cigar for a blockbuster price of about $6 per stick. Insane.
I'm a huge fan of the champagne series, so I was anxious to give these a try. What a great smoke! Smooth, flavorful, slow burning and tons of aromatic smoke for maximum enjoyment. Settle in for the long haul 'cause these stogies go on and on and only get better as they burn down. I've found a new favorite..
This is the best cigar I've smoked all year period. And, it's the only 60 RG cigar I've ever really enjoyed. Excellent draw, perfect draw, and the construction is flawless. Notes of oak, coffee, and the sweetness that comes from perfectly fermented tobacco. Medium to full to start, and ends up a full bodied full strength cigar. If you smoke cigars you owe it to yourself to try this.
Great stick! this is one of the best new smokes this year. Bold flavor with a mid -full body that changes as you smoke. Smooth and satisfing from first puff to the nub.
Normally I prefer lighter wrappers, & I'm a HUGE fan of the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne. I was skeptical when I saw the Champagne Reserve Noir on CI, but since I'm also a big fan of everything Nick Perdomo rolls, I figured what the heck - it'll at least be good, but surely there's no way to top the 10th Anniversary Champagne. OH . . . MY . . . GOD!!! Could NOT have been more wrong! This cigar is simply incredible! As smooth as the 10th Anniversary Champagne, but with deeper richer flavors right from the start. And of course, it only gets better the longer you smoke it. But that's the beauty of these: they are super slow burning, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy them. If they weren't so amazing, you'd almost be sick if them by the time you were done - almost. The only downside: the monstrous Super Toro, at 6" x 60 lasted nearly 3 hours, so be sure you have plenty of time to enjoy these beauties, cuz you WON'T want to put it out once you light it.
Smoking this cigar is somewhat akin to a religious experience.
