“This is a great medium bodied cigar. No clue why this one is so under the radar. I like it better than CAO Criollo, which is fuller in body (and I'm a full bodied smoker mainly). Consistency is top notch. Perfect construction and draw. Give this cigar a chance people, you're missing out.”
“I am currently smoking one of these beauties (Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Criollo)----simply excellent! I was lucky enough to get one from a local guy who got a few in Vegas a couple of weeks ago. I'm pairing it with a Cabernet Sauvignon and I'm in heaven!
Once these are available, I'm stocking up! Whoops---back to the balcony for more smoking pleasure!
Nick Perdomo has done it again!”
“I have had a few of these vitolas for almost 2 yrs. I have the robusto size and the aging has made these cigars passionately delicious. I enjoy pairing this stick with either a Cabernet or a Shiraz. However, the last time I paired this smoke with an Argentinian Malbec and the complexity of the cigar was that much more apparent. The appearance of the stick is completely vein-free. With earthy copper tones in the wrapper label, and the subtle sheen of the wrapper leaf, the cigar is almost to pretty to smoke! The opening offers some soft wood notes and underlying spice. As it burns, the draw is perfect, offering large smoke clouds (I use a cutter). I am most intrigued by the consistent white-pepper like spice that keeps the palate awake. The aging has married the tobaccos well. This is definitely a stick that is great now and better later!”
“I bought a box of the Figurados at a Perdomo event at CI. This has become my favorite everyday smoke. It starts off with hints of cocoa and coffee and and the character builds to a strong but, smooth finish. I enjoy most of the Perdomo line and recommend this to folks that enjoy a medium to full bodied cigar. I am waiting for the next Perdomo event so I can buy another box.”
“Have these available to me from my local shop and decided to give them a try. So glad I did. Easy draw, even burn with billows of smoke and the flavor was great. I was apprehensive about the criollo cause I've never had much luck getting an even burn but this one put that theory to bed. Aside from the usual nice long draw which gave me the pepper and cocoa notes, I took small quick draws and was surprised at the different flavor profile, I got an almost toasted caramel feel. Great cigar. Will be buying a box in the near future when I've run out of the few sticks I bought.”
