“We were fly-fishing in Montana and each evening at the lodge we would sit out on the deck before dinner and have a drink or three with a smoke. Everyone brought their own smokes but by the third day they all wanted to trade for one of my Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut’s. I actually had to hide them so they wouldn’t steal them from me when I wasn’t looking. This cigar is a great smoke… smooth, creamy and flavorful! I’m telling you, if you try these cigars you won’t be disappointed.”
“I got caught up in the "strong" cigar craze for awhile before deciding that it's just not for me. Smoked one of the Vintage '99 beauties at a Crawfish Boil a few days ago. Creamy and loads of great flavor. Ok, for the record I smoked two.”
“Best cigar Patel makes in my opinion.Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut This cigar surpasses the 92, the 90 and even the Decade as far as Im concerned.”
“the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut is by far the best cigar i have EVER smoked these darlings are a main stay in my humdor.”
“Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut - the best I have had, my fave for a relaxing evening. Not to be smoked in a hurry, goes well with a nice pint of dark ale, and a sunset...wish I could afford them everyday, but then they wouldn't be special.”
“I have had all of Rocky Patel's line of cigars. The Vintage 1999 is BY FAR the best cigar he makes. It's probably the best conneticut on the market right now. I had been begging CI to carry these for the past year or so when I had one in a vintage sampler. This cigar will really blow you away.”
“I got this in a sampler. Not a big fan of mild cigars...but....Had this with coffee on the deck this morning and it was GREAT. Nice burn, plenty of smoke, good construction. A pleasant change from the "smack in the face" from a full bodied smoke.”
“By far the best mild cigar to date Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut by anyone in the industry. So why is C.I. holding out on us? Try one for yourself and you'll be adding your own coments on fan mail.”
“I've had my eye on this beautiful looking cigar for a while and today I was able to sample it. The construction was solid. Pre-light aroma was heavy on cedar. It lit very easy and drew perfect, comparable to a Perdomo. The predominant tones through the entire smoke were toasted cedar and leather. Very mellow. Well packed cigar as the ash was solid as concrete. I got a good 2 inches from the initial light before I decided to knock it off. I'll keep a couple of these around in the humidor for sure. ”
