Well built, good draw, medium-to-full bodied, rich, and flavorful. Definitely a box purchase.
So far on a box of 10, I've attempted to smoke three of these and all of them have had such a tight draw, that they could not even be saved with a draw poker. Maybe they taste as good as everyone says, but I have yet to be able to get one to smoke. 30% failure rate is IMHO, unacceptable.
I purchased a box in an offer that was a bit lower than the current price & was thrilled with them from the 1st puff, on the 2nd day I had them. This is the juiced up version of the "cigar of the year" winner in 2012. Loyal Aged Ligero doesn't disappoint either. It's a delicious, gorgeous, firmly packed dynamo that stole my heart. I will gladly pay 3 bones per stick, for as long as they last. If I run out, it will be a short marriage, since Carlos Torano Loyal Aged Ligero is my new favorite blend!
Just ordered a couple of days ago, pretty excited had these a few times, well very well balanced cigar. The cigar is one of my top 10. Thanks to CI for introducing another great smoke. I'm sure my Humidor will be happy.
Good Cigar, Mellow, however it has a bite!!!! I'll buy again!!!!
Nice, smooth, and well constructed, medium body smoke. I wish it came in a larger size. I'm a huge Torano Fan, it's all good but if I were to rank this one against his others, I would give it a solid 8/10!
Milder than expected, decent draw and some slight construction issues. Earthy with a light spice, flavor held evenly till about 3/4 length, then turned dry and flavorless. Not a bad buy if you enjoy milder tasting cigars; I just wish it had finished stronger. Enjoy!
I tried a box of these last year & was pleased with the tasty medium bodied robustos. Having enjoyed Loyal previously, I was interested to see what effect the Ecuadorian Sumatra ligero wrapper would have on an already flavorful blend. A lot, in fact. This high priming leaf adds a level of strength & a lot of extra flavor. When they went on clearance & the price was even reduced once to $2.50 a stick, I almost made the move. When the most recent special was announced, I made a bee-line to the MMAO section & secured two boxes for even less than the current sale price. The special is free shipping on all MMAO purchases, so I am sittin' in tall cotton, as I await their arrival, knowing I have 20 superior vitolas headed my way, for a fraction of the MSRP. The boxes make great storage containers, too!
The biggest shame of these cigars is that they cannot be made in longer lengths. They're excellent in expected Torano construction and blend. I'm really pleased with this cigar; it's a treat.
Excellent
This one is a gem! Subtle complexities, nice spice and great draw and burn. A medium body cigar that's full of flavor and finesse.
